1 ULB अरे विध्वंसका, जो तुझा नाश झाला नाही! अरे विश्वासघातक्या, जो तुझा त्यांनी विश्वासघात केला नाही, तुला धिक्कार असो! जेव्हा तू विध्वंस करणे थांबवशील तेव्हा तू नाश पावशील, जेव्हा तू विश्वासघातकीपणा सोडशील, तेव्हा ते तुझा विश्वासघात करतील. 4 ULB टोळ नाश करतात त्याप्रमाणे तुमची लूट गोळा करतील, जसे टोळ धाड टाकतात तसे मनुष्ये तिजवर धाड टाकतील. BSB BSB: Your spoil, O nations, is gathered as by locusts; like a swarm of locusts men sweep over it.

7 ULB पाहा त्याचे वीर बाहेर रस्त्यात रडत आहेत; शांतीचा संदेश आणणारे शांतीच्या आशेने स्फुंदून जोराने रडत आहेत. BSB BSB: Behold, their valiant ones cry aloud in the streets; the envoys of peace weep bitterly.
8 ULB राजमार्ग ओसाड पडले आहेत; तेथे कोणीही प्रवासी नाही. त्याने निर्बंध मोडला आहे, साक्षीदारांसह तुच्छ लेखले, आणि नगरांचा अनादर केला. BSB BSB: The highways are deserted; travel has ceased. The treaty has been broken, the witnesses are despised, and human life is disregarded.

11 ULB तुम्ही भुसकटाची गर्भधारणा कराल व धसकट प्रसवाल, तुमचा श्वास अग्नी आहे तो तुम्हास खाऊन टाकील. BSB BSB: You conceive chaff; you give birth to stubble. Your breath is a fire that will consume you.
12 ULB लोक भाजलेल्या चुन्याप्रमाणे भस्म होतील, जसे काटेरी झुडपे तोडून व अग्नीत टाकतात. BSB BSB: The peoples will be burned to ashes, like thorns cut down and set ablaze.
13 ULB जे तुम्ही फार दूर आहात, मी काय केले आहे ते ऐका; आणि जे तुम्ही जवळ आहात, ते तुम्ही माझे सामर्थ्य जाणून घ्या. BSB BSB: You who are far off, hear what I have done; you who are near, acknowledge My might.”
14 ULB सियोनेतील पापी घाबरले आहेत. अधर्म्यास थरकाप सुटला आहे. आमच्यातला कोण जाळून टाकणाऱ्या अग्नीत वस्ती करील? BSB BSB: The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling grips the ungodly: “Who of us can dwell with a consuming fire? Who of us can dwell with everlasting flames?”
15 ULB तो, नितीने वागतो व सत्य बोलतो, जुलूमजबरी करून मिळणारा लाभ तुच्छ लेखतो; जो लाच नाकारतो, घातपातांचा कट करीत नाही व दुष्कृत्याकडे पाहत नाही. BSB BSB: He who walks righteously and speaks with sincerity, who refuses gain from extortion, whose hand never takes a bribe, who stops his ears against murderous plots and shuts his eyes tightly against evil—
16 ULB तो आपले घर उच्च स्थळी करील; त्याचे रक्षणाचे स्थान पाषाणाच्या तटबंदीचे दुर्ग असे होतील; त्यांना अन्न व पाण्याचा मुबलक पुरवठा अखंडीत चालू राहील. BSB BSB: he will dwell on the heights; the mountain fortress will be his refuge; his food will be provided and his water assured.
17 ULB तुझे नेत्र राजाला त्याच्या शोभेत पाहतील; ते विस्तीर्ण भूमी पाहतील. BSB BSB: Your eyes will see the King in His beauty and behold a land that stretches afar.
18 ULB भयप्रद गोष्टींचे स्मरण तुझ्या मनाला होईल; लिखाण करणारा कोठे आहे, पैसे तोलणारा कोठे आहे? मनोऱ्यांची गणती करणारा कोठे आहे? BSB BSB: Your mind will ponder the former terror: “Where is he who tallies? Where is he who weighs? Where is he who counts the towers?”
19 ULB उद्धट मनोवृतीचे लोक, अनोळखी भाषा बोलणारे लोक, ज्यांचे तुला पुर्णपणे आकलन झाले नाही अशा लोकांस तू फार काळ पाहणार नाहीस. BSB BSB: You will no longer see the insolent, a people whose speech is unintelligible, who stammer in a language you cannot understand.
20 ULB सियोनेकडे पाहा, हे नगर आपल्या मेजवाणीचे आहे; तुझे डोळे यरुशलेमेकडे शांतीचे वस्तीस्थान म्हणून पाहतील. त्याचा तंबू कधीही काढणार नाहीत, त्याच्या खुंट्या कधीही उपटणार नाहीत, ज्याच्या दोरखंडातील एकही दोरी तुटणार नाही. BSB BSB: Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful pasture, a tent that does not wander; its tent pegs will not be pulled up, nor will any of its cords be broken.
21 ULB त्या जागी वैभवी परमेश्वर आपल्या समवेत असेल, ती जागा रूंद नदी व प्रवाहांची अशी होईल. त्यामध्ये वल्हेकऱ्यांच्या युद्ध नौका आणि मोठे जहाज त्यातून प्रवास करणार नाहीत. BSB BSB: But there the Majestic One, our LORD, will be for us a place of rivers and wide canals, where no galley with oars will row, and no majestic vessel will pass.
22 ULB कारण परमेश्वर आमचा न्यायाधीश आहे. परमेश्वरच आम्हास न्याय देणारा आहे, परमेश्वर आमचा राजा आहे; तोच आम्हास तारील. BSB BSB: For the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our King. It is He who will save us.
23 ULB तुझे दोर ढिले झाले आहेत; त्यांना आपल्या डोलकाठीस घट्ट धरून ठेवत आधार नाहीत; ते शीड पसरीत नाहीत; जेव्हा मोठ्या लुटीची लूट वाटण्यात आली, जे पांगळे त्यांनी लूट वाटून घेतली. BSB BSB: Your ropes are slack; they cannot secure the mast or spread the sail. Then an abundance of spoils will be divided, and even the lame will carry off plunder.
