5 ULB कोठेही गवत नसल्यामुळे हरीणी आपल्या नवजात पाडसास एकटेच सोडून देते. BSB BSB: Even the doe in the field deserts her newborn fawn because there is no grass.
6 ULB उघड्या डोंगरावर उभी राहून, जंगली गाढवे कोल्ह्यांप्रमाणे धापा टाकतात, त्यांचे डोळे खोल गेले आहेत, कारण खाण्यालायक एकही झुडूप शिल्लक नाही. BSB BSB: Wild donkeys stand on barren heights; they pant for air like jackals; their eyes fail for lack of pasture.”

BSB BSB: Although our iniquities testify against us, O LORD, act for the sake of Your name. Indeed, our rebellions are many; we have sinned against You.

Yet You are among us, O LORD, and we are called by Your name. Do not forsake us!

BSB BSB: This is what the LORD says about this people: “Truly they love to wander; they have not restrained their feet. So the LORD does not accept them; He will now remember their iniquity and punish them for their sins.”

12 ULB कारण जरी ते उपवास करतील, तरी मी त्यांचे रडने ऐकणार नाही, आणि जरी ते होमार्पण व धान्यार्पण करतील, त्यामध्ये मी आनंद पावणार नाही. कारण तलवार व दुष्काळ आणि रोगराई यांनी मी त्यांचा नाश करीन.” BSB BSB: Although they may fast, I will not listen to their cry; although they may offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will finish them off by sword and famine and plague.”
13 ULB तेव्हा मी म्हणालो, “हे, प्रभू परमेश्वरा, पाहा! संदेष्टे त्यांना सांगत आहेत की, तुम्ही तलवार पाहणार नाही, आणि दुष्काळ तुमच्यासाठी असणार नाही, कारण मी तुम्हास या ठिकाणी खरी सुरक्षीतता देत आहे.” BSB BSB: “Ah, Lord GOD!” I replied, “Look, the prophets are telling them, ‘You will not see the sword or suffer famine, but I will give you lasting peace in this place.’”

BSB BSB: “The prophets are prophesying lies in My name,” replied the LORD. “I did not send them or appoint them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, a worthless divination, the futility and delusion of their own minds.
15 ULB यास्तव परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, मी ज्यांना पाठवले नाही, अशे जे भविष्यवादी माझ्या नावात भविष्य सांगतात आणि असे म्हणतात या देशावर तलवार व उपासमार येणार नाही. ते संदेष्टे तलवारीने आणि उपासमारीने मरतील. BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the LORD says about the prophets who prophesy in My name: I did not send them, yet they say, ‘No sword or famine will touch this land.’ By sword and famine these very prophets will meet their end!

There will be no one to bury them or their wives, their sons or their daughters. I will pour out their own evil upon them.

For both prophet and priest travel to a land they do not know.’”

BSB BSB: Have You rejected Judah completely? Do You despise Zion? Why have You stricken us so that we are beyond healing? We hoped for peace, but no good has come, and for the time of healing, but there was only terror.
20 ULB परमेश्वरा, आम्ही पापी आहोत, ह्याची आम्हास जाणीव आहे. आमच्या पूर्वजांनी दुष्कृत्ये केली. आम्ही तुझ्याविरूद्ध अपराध केले. BSB BSB: We acknowledge our wickedness, O LORD, the guilt of our fathers; indeed, we have sinned against You.
21 ULB परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या नामास्तव, आम्हांला नाकारू नकोस, तुझ्या वैभवशाली सिंहासनाची अप्रतिष्ठा होऊ देऊ नकोस. आठवण कर आणि आम्हा बरोबर तुझा करार तोडू नको. BSB BSB: For the sake of Your name do not despise us; do not disgrace Your glorious throne. Remember Your covenant with us; do not break it.
22 ULB राष्ट्राच्या मूर्तींत पाऊस पाडण्याचे सामर्थ्य आहे काय? किंवा आकाश स्वत: पावसाच्या सरी पाडण्यास सशक्त आहेत काय? जो हे सर्व करतो, तो तूच आमचा एकमेव परमेश्वर देव नाही काय? आमची आशा तुझ्यामध्ये आहे. कारण तुच या सर्व गोष्टी केल्या आहेत.” BSB BSB: Can the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies alone send showers? Is this not by You, O LORD our God? So we put our hope in You, for You have done all these things.
