Jeremiah 17 (ULB)

1“यहूदाचे पाप लोखंडी लेखणीने व हिऱ्याच्या टोकाने लिहिलेले आहे. ते त्यांच्या हृदयाच्या पाटीवर आणि वेदीच्या शिंगांवर कोरले आहेत.“The sin of Judah is written with an iron stylus, engraved with a diamond point on the tablets of their hearts and on the horns of their altars.

4मी दिलेला वारसा तू गमावशील. मी तुमच्या शत्रूंना तुम्हास गुलाम म्हणून अज्ञान भूमीत देईन. कारण माझ्या क्रोधात तू अग्नी पेटवला आहे, जो सर्वकाळ जळत राहीन.”And you yourself will relinquish the inheritance that I gave you. I will enslave you to your enemies in a land that you do not know, for you have kindled My anger; it will burn forever.”

5परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “जो मानवजातीवर विश्वास ठेवतो, जो आपल्या देहाला आपले सामर्थ्य करतो पण त्याचे हृदय परमेश्वरापासून दुर आहे, तो शापित असो.This is what the LORD says: “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind, who makes mere flesh his strength and turns his heart from the LORD.

6कारण तो वाळवंटातील झुडुपाप्रमाणे आहे आणि चांगले येईल ते तो पाहणार नाही. तो निर्जन, कोरड्या व बरड जमिनीवर व रहीवासी नसलेल्या जागी वस्ती करीन.He will be like a shrub in the desert; he will not see when prosperity comes. He will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.

7परंतु जो परमेश्वरावर विश्वास ठेवतो, तो आशीर्वादीत आहे, कारण परमेश्वर त्याचा विश्वास आहे.But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him.

8तो पाण्याच्या प्रवाहाजवळ लावलेल्या वृक्षाप्रमाणे तो होईल, ज्याची मुळे प्रवाहाजवळ पसरते, तो हे पाहत नाही की उन्हाची झळ येत आहे, कारण त्याची पाने हिरवीगार राहतात. मग दुष्काळाच्या वर्षाच्या काळात तो चिंताग्रस्त होणार नाही, किंवा तो फळ देण्याचे थांबवणार नाही.”He is like a tree planted by the waters that sends out its roots toward the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes, and its leaves are always green. It does not worry in a year of drought, nor does it cease to produce fruit.

In the middle of his days his riches will desert him, and in the end he will be the fool.”

All who turn away will be written in the dust, for they have abandoned the LORD, the fountain of living water.

You know that the utterance of my lips was spoken in Your presence.

17तू मला भयावह असे होऊ नकोस. संकटाच्या दिवशी तू माझा आश्रय आहेस.Do not become a terror to me; You are my refuge in the day of disaster.

21परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो: तुम्ही आपला जीव जपा आणि शब्बाथाच्या दिवशी तुम्ही यरुशलेमेच्या प्रवेशद्वारातून ओझी वाहून आणू नका.This is what the LORD says: Take heed for yourselves; do not carry a load or bring it through the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day.

22आणि शब्बाथाच्या दिवशी तुम्ही आपल्या घरातून काही भार बाहेर आणू नका व काही उद्योगही करु नका, तुमच्या पूर्वजांना दिलेल्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे शब्बाथाचा दिवस पवित्र पाळा.You must not carry a load out of your houses or do any work on the Sabbath day, but you must keep the Sabbath day holy, just as I commanded your forefathers.

23पण त्यांनी तो पाळला नाही आणि लक्ष दिले नाही. परंतू ते आपल्या मानेत ताठर झाले, म्हणून ते ऐकेणात आणि शिक्षण आत्मसात करेनात.Yet they would not listen or incline their ear, but they stiffened their necks and would not listen or receive My discipline.

They will sit on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses with their officials, along with the men of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem, and this city will be inhabited forever.

27पण जर तुम्ही शब्बाथ दिवस पवित्र पाळण्यासाठी माझे ऐकले नाही, जर तुम्ही शब्बाथाच्या दिवशी यरुशलेमेच्या दारात ओझे वाहिले, तर मी दारात कधींही विझू न शकणारी आग लावीन, ही आग यरुशलेमचे राजवाडे खाऊन टाकील आणि ती विझवली जाणार नाही.”But if you do not listen to Me to keep the Sabbath day holy by not carrying a load while entering the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle an unquenchable fire in its gates to consume the citadels of Jerusalem.’”
