It continued along the waters of En-shemesh and came out at En-rogel.

(Arba was the forefather of Anak.)

14मग तेथून कालेबाने अनाकाची तीन मुले शेशय व अहीमान व तलमय म्हणजे अनाकाचे वंशज यांना वतनातून घालवले.And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak—the descendants of Sheshai, Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.

15नंतर तो तेथून दबीर शहरात राहणाऱ्यांवर चालून गेला; दबीराचे पूर्वीचे नाव किर्याथ-सेफर होते.From there he marched against the inhabitants of Debir (formerly known as Kiriath-sepher).

When she got off her donkey, Caleb asked her, “What do you desire?”

24जीफ, टेलेम व बालोथ;Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,

25हासोर-हदत्ता व करीयोथ हस्रोन (यालाच हासोरसुद्धा म्हणत)Hazor-hadattah, Kerioth-hezron (that is, Hazor),

26अमाम व शमा व मोलादा;Amam, Shema, Moladah,

27आणि हसर-गदा व हेष्मोन व बेथ-पेलेट;Hazar-gaddah, Heshmon, Beth-pelet,

28आणि हसर-शुवाल व बैर-शेबा व बिजोथा;Hazar-shual, Beersheba, Biziothiah,

29बाला, ईयीम व असेम;Baalah, Iim, Ezem,

30आणि एल्तोलाद व कसील व हर्मा;Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,

31आणि सिकलाग व मद्मन्ना व सन्सन्ना;Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,

32आणि लबावोथ, शिलहीम, अईन व रिम्मोन; ही सर्व नगरे एकोणतीस त्यांची गावे.Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon—twenty-nine cities in all, along with their villages.

33तळवटीतली नगरे ही, एष्टावोल, सरा व अषणा;These were in the foothills: Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,

34जानोहा व एन-गन्नीम तप्पूहा व एनाम;Zanoah, En-gannim, Tappuah, Enam,

35यर्मूथ व अदुल्लाम, सोखो व अजेका;Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,

36आणि शाराईम व अदीथईम व गदेरा व गदेरोथईम, अशी चौदा नगरे, आणि त्यांची गावे;Shaaraim, Adithaim, and Gederah (or Gederothaim)—fourteen cities, along with their villages.

37सनान व हदाशा व मिग्दल-गाद;Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-gad,

38दिलन, मिस्पा व यकथेल;Dilan, Mizpeh, Joktheel,

39लाखीश व बसकाथ व एग्लोन;Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,

40कब्बोन व लहमाम व किथलीश;Cabbon, Lahmas, Chitlish,

41गदेरोथ बेथ-दागोन व नामा व मक्केदा; अशी सोळा नगरे, आणि त्यांची गावे.Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah—sixteen cities, along with their villages.

42लिब्ना व एथेर व आशान;Libnah, Ether, Ashan,

43इफ्ताह व अष्णा व नजीब;Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,

44आणि कईला व अकजीब व मारेशा; अशी नऊ नगरे, आणि त्यांची गावे.Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah—nine cities, along with their villages.

45एक्रोन आणि त्याच्या उपनगरांसह त्याची गावे;Ekron, with its towns and villages;

49दन्ना व किर्याथ-सन्ना तेच दबीर;Dannah, Kiriath-sannah (that is, Debir),

50अनाब व एष्टमो व अनीम,Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim,

51आणि गोशेन व होलोन व गिलो. अशी अकरा नगरे, आणि त्याकडील खेडी,Goshen, Holon, and Giloh—eleven cities, along with their villages.

52अरब व दूमा व एशान,Arab, Dumah, Eshan,

53यानीम व बेथ-तप्पूहा व अफेका,Janim, Beth-tappuah, Aphekah,

54हुमटा व किर्याथ-आर्बा तेच हेब्रोन व सियोर, अशी नऊ नगरे, आणि त्यांची खेडी.Humtah, Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), and Zior—nine cities, along with their villages.

55मावोन, कर्मेल व जीफ व यूटा,Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah,

56इज्रेल व यकदाम व जानोहा,Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,

57काइन, गिबा, व तिम्ना, ही दहा नगरे आणि त्यांची खेडी.Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah—ten cities, along with their villages.

58हल्हूल, बेथ-सूर व गदोर,Halhul, Beth-zur, Gedor,

59माराथ, बेथ-अनोथ व एल्तकोन; ही सहा नगरे आणि त्यांची खेडी.Maarath, Beth-anoth, and Eltekon—six cities, along with their villages.

60किर्याथ-बाल म्हणजेच किर्याथ-यारीम व राब्बा ही दोन नगरे आणि त्यांची खेडी.Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah—two cities, along with their villages.

61रानातली नगरे ही, बेथ-अराबा, मिद्दीन व सखाखा;These were in the wilderness: Beth-arabah, Middin, Secacah,

62आणि निबशान व मिठाचे नगर व एन-गेदी; ही सहा नगरे आणि त्यांची खेडी.Nibshan, the City of Salt, and En-gedi—six cities, along with their villages.

63तथापि यरुशलेमात राहणाऱ्या यबूसी लोकांस यहूदाच्या वंशजाना घालवता आले नाही; यास्तव यबूसी यरुशलेमात यहूदाच्या वंशजाजवळ आजपर्यंत राहत आहेत.But the descendants of Judah could not drive out the Jebusites living in Jerusalem. So to this day the Jebusites live there among the descendants of Judah.
