1दुसऱ्या वेळेस शिमोनाच्या नावाची चिठ्ठी म्हणजे शिमोनाच्या वंशाची चिठ्ठी त्यांच्या कुळांप्रमाणे निघाली; त्यांचे वतन तर यहूदाच्या वंशजाच्या वतनामध्ये त्यांना वतन मिळाले.The second lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Simeon: Their inheritance lay within the territory of Judah

2आणि त्यांचे वतन म्हणून ही नगरे त्यांना मिळाली; बैर-शेबा म्हणजे शेबा व मोलादा;and included Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah,

3हसर-शुवाल व बाला व असेम;Hazar-shual, Balah, Ezem,

4एल्तोलाद व बथूल व हर्मा;Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,

5आणि सिकलाग व बेथ-मर्का-बोथ व हसर-सूसा;Ziklag, Beth-marcaboth, Hazar-susah,

6आणि बेथ-लबवोथ व शारुहेन; ही तेरा नगरे, आणि त्यांची गावे;Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen—thirteen cities, along with their villages.

7अईन, रिम्मोन व एथेर व आशान; अशी नगरे चार, आणि त्याकडले गावे;Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan—four cities, along with their villages,

8बालथ-बैर, म्हणजेच दक्षिण प्रदेशातील रामा येथपर्यंत या नगरांच्या चहुकडली सर्व गावे. शिमोनी वंशजांचा त्यांच्या कुळांप्रमाणे हाच वतन भाग होय.and all the villages surrounding these cities as far as Baalath-beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Simeon.

9शिमोनाला यहूदी वंशजाच्या वतनातील प्रदेशातच वाटा देण्यात आला. कारण यहूदी वंशाचे वतन त्यांच्या संख्येच्या मानाने फार मोठे होते, म्हणून त्यांच्या वतनात शिमोनी वंशजाला वतन मिळाले.The inheritance of the Simeonites was taken from the territory of Judah, because the share for Judah’s descendants was too large for them. So the Simeonites received an inheritance within Judah’s portion.

10तिसरी चिठ्ठी जबुलून वंशजाची त्यांच्या कुळाप्रमाणे निघाली; आणि त्यांच्या वतनाची सीमा सारीदपर्यंत आहे;The third lot came up for the clans of the tribe of Zebulun: The border of their inheritance stretched as far as Sarid.

11त्यांची सीमा पश्चिमेस, वर मरलापर्यंत जाऊन दब्बेशेथ येथे पोहचते आणि यकनामा समोरील ओहोळास जाऊन लागते.It went up westward to Maralah, reached Dabbesheth, and met the brook east of Jokneam.

12ती सारीद येथून पूर्वेकडे सूर्याच्या उगवतीस वळून किसलोथ-ताबोर याच्या सीमेस लागते; तेथून दाबरथ येथे जाऊन याफीयपर्यंत वर जाते.From Sarid it turned eastward along the border of Chisloth-tabor and went on to Daberath and up to Japhia.

13तेथून पूर्वे दिशेकडे गथ-हेफेर व इत्ता-कासीन येथवर जाते. आणि तेथून नेया जवळील रिम्मोन येथे निघते;From there it crossed eastward to Gath-hepher and to Eth-kazin; it extended to Rimmon and curved around toward Neah.

14ती सीमा त्यास वळसा घालून उत्तरेस हन्नाथोनपर्यंत जाते व तेथून इफताह-एल खोऱ्यात संपते.Then the border circled around the north side of Neah to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah-el.

15कट्टाथ, नहलाल व शिम्रोन, इदला, बेथलहेम आदिकरून बारा नगरे दिली, त्यामध्ये गावे मोजली नाहीत.It also included Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. There were twelve cities, along with their villages.

16जबुलून वंशाचे त्यांच्या कुळांप्रमाणे, हेच वतन, ही नगरे व त्यांच्या आसपासची गावे हे होत.This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Zebulun, including these cities and their villages.

17इस्साखाराच्या वंशजाची त्यांच्या कुळांप्रमाणे चौथी चिठ्ठी निघाली.The fourth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Issachar:

18त्यांच्या सीमेच्या आत ही नगरे होती; इज्रेल व कसुल्लोथ व शूनेम;Their territory included Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,

19आणि हफराईम, शियोन व अनाहराथ;Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,

20रब्बीथ, किशोन व अबेस;Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,

21रेमेथ व एन-गन्नीम, एन-हद्दा व बेथ-पसेस,Remeth, En-gannim, En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez.

22त्याची सीमा ताबोर, शहसुमा व बेथ-शेमेश, येथवर जाते आणि त्यांच्या सीमेचा शेवट यार्देन येथे झाला; ही सोळा नगरे व त्यांची गावे.The border reached Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. There were sixteen cities, along with their villages.

23इस्साखाराच्या वंशाचे त्यांच्या कुळाप्रमाणे हेच वतन, ही नगरे व त्यांच्या आसपासची गावे हे होत.This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Issachar, including these cities and their villages.

24पाचवी चिठ्ठी आशेर वंशजांच्या नावाची त्यांच्या कुळांप्रमाणे निघाली.The fifth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Asher:

25त्यांच्या सीमेच्या आत ही नगरे होती हेलकथ, हली, बटेन व अक्षाफ;Their territory included Helkath, Hali, Beten, Achshaph,

26अल्लामेलेख, अमाद व मिशाल, त्यांची सीमा पश्चिमेस कर्मेल व शिहोर-लिब्नाथ येथवर जाते;Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. On the west the border touched Carmel and Shihor-libnath,

27ती वळून सूर्याच्या उगवतीस बेथ-दागोन येथवर जाऊन उत्तरेस जबुलून वतनापर्यंत आणि इफताह-एल खोऱ्याच्या उत्तरेकडून व बेथ-एमेक नगर व नियेल नगर येथपर्यंत पोहचते, तशीच डावीकडे काबूल नगर येथे निघते.then turned eastward toward Beth-dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah-el, and went north to Beth-emek and Neiel, passing Cabul on the left.

28तेथून एब्रोन, रहोब व हम्मोन व काना यांवरून जाऊन मोठ्या सीदोन शहरापर्यंत पोहचते.It went on to Ebron, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah, as far as Greater Sidon.

29तेथून ती वळसा घेऊन रामापर्यंत जाते व तेथून सोर नामक तटबंदीच्या नगरापर्यंत जाते. तेथून ती होसा नगराकडे वळते आणि अकजीब प्रदेशातून जाऊन समुद्राला मिळते.The border then turned back toward Ramah as far as the fortified city of Tyre, turned toward Hosah, and came out at the Sea in the region of Achzib,

30उम्मा, अफेक व रहोब, ही बावीस नगरे व त्यांची गावे त्यांना मिळाली;Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob. There were twenty-two cities, along with their villages.

31आशेराच्या वंशाचे त्यांच्या कुळांप्रमाणे, हेच वतन, ही नगरे व त्यांच्या आसपासची गावे हे होत.This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Asher, including these cities and their villages.

32सहावी चिठ्ठी नफताली वंशजांच्या नांवाची त्यांच्या कुळांप्रमाणे निघाली.The sixth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Naphtali:

33त्यांची सीमा हेलेफ नगर आणि साननीमातील एला वृक्ष यापासून अदामी-नेकेब शहर व यबनेल यावरुन लक्कुम येथे जाऊन यार्देनेपाशी निघते.Their border started at Heleph and the great tree of Zaanannim, passing Adami-nekeb and Jabneel as far as Lakkum and ending at the Jordan.

34तेथून ती सीमा पश्चिमेस वळून अजनोथ ताबोर येथे जाते व तेथून हुक्कोक शहर येथे जाते; व तेथून दक्षिणेस जबुलूनाच्या वतन भागापर्यंत आणि पश्चिमेस आशेराच्या वतनापर्यंत उगवतीस यार्देनेपाशी यहूदाच्या वतनभागाला जाऊन मिळते.Then the border turned westward to Aznoth-tabor and ran from there to Hukkok, touching Zebulun on the south side, Asher on the west, and Judah at the Jordan on the east.

35त्यातील तटबंदीची नगरे हे, सिद्दीम, सेर, हम्मथ, रक्कथ व किन्नेरेथ;The fortified cities were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Chinnereth,

36अदामा, राम व हासोर;Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,

37केदेश, एद्रई व एन-हासोर;Kedesh, Edrei, En-hazor,

38इरोन मिग्दल-एल, हरेम, बेथ-अनाथ व बेथ-शेमेश ही एकोणीस नगरे आणि त्यांची गावे.Iron, Migdal-el, Horem, Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh. There were nineteen cities, along with their villages.

39नफतालीच्या वंशचे त्याच्या कुळांप्रमाणे हेच वतन, ही नगरे आणि त्यांची गावे.This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Naphtali, including these cities and their villages.

40सातवी चिठ्ठी दान वंशजाच्या नावाची त्याच्या कुळांप्रमाणे निघाली.The seventh lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Dan:

41त्यांच्या वतन सीमेच्या आत ही नगरे होती; सरा, एष्टावोल, ईर-शेमेश.The territory of their inheritance included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-shemesh,

42शालब्बीन व अयालोन व इथला;Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,

43एलोन व तिम्ना, एक्रोन;Elon, Timnah, Ekron,

44एलतके, गिब्बथोन व बालाथ;Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,

45यहूदा, बने-बराक व गथ-रिम्मोन.Jehud, Bene-berak, Gath-rimmon,

46मीयार्कोन व रक्कोन, याफोच्या समोरील प्रदेश.Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, including the territory across from Joppa.

47दानाच्या वंशजाची सीमा त्यांच्या मूळ वतनाबाहेरही गेली, कारण की दान वंशजांनी लेशेम शहराशी लढून त्यास धरले; आणि तलवारीने त्यास मारल्यावर त्यांचा ताबा घेऊन त्यामध्ये वस्ती केली, आणि आपला पूर्वज दान याचे नाव त्यांनी लेशेम शहरास ठेवले.(Later, when the territory of the Danites was lost to them, they went up and fought against Leshem, captured it, and put it to the sword. So they took possession of Leshem, settled there, and renamed it after their father Dan.)

49इस्राएल लोकांनी देशाच्या सीमांप्रमाणे वतन करून घेण्याची समाप्ती केल्यावर नूनाचा पुत्र यहोशवा याला आपल्यांमध्ये वतन दिले.When they had finished distributing the land into its territories, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them,

50परमेश्वराच्या आज्ञेप्रमाणे त्यांनी एफ्राइम डोंगरावरचे तिम्नाथ-सेरह नगर, जे त्याने मागितले, मग तो ते नगर बांधून त्यामध्ये राहिला.as the LORD had commanded. They gave him the city of Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim, as he requested. He rebuilt the city and settled in it.

51एलाजार याजक व नूनाचा पुत्र यहोशवा व इस्राएलाच्या वंशांतले वडील अधिकारी यांनी शिलोमध्ये दर्शनमंडपाच्या दारी परमेश्वरासमोर, चिठ्ठ्या टाकून जी वतने वाटून दिली ती ही; याप्रमाणे त्यांनी देश वाटून देण्याचे संपले.These are the inheritances that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the families distributed by lot to the tribes of Israel at Shiloh before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. So they finished dividing up the land.
