Leviticus 14 (ULB)

1परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला,Then the LORD said to Moses,

2महारोग बरा झालेल्या लोकांस शुद्ध करून घेण्याविषयीचे नियम असे: याजकाने महारोग्याला तपासावे.“This is the law for the one afflicted with a skin disease on the day of his cleansing, when he is brought to the priest.

3याजकाने छावणीच्या बाहेर जाऊन त्या महारोग्याला तपासावे व त्याचा महारोग बरा झाला आहे किंवा नाही ते पाहावे.The priest is to go outside the camp to examine him, and if the skin disease of the afflicted person has healed,

4तो बरा झाला असल्यास याजकाने त्यास शुद्ध होण्यासाठी दोन जिवंत शुद्ध पक्षी, गंधसरूचे लाकूड, किरमिजी रंगाचे कापड व एजोब झाडाची फांदी घेऊन येण्यास सांगावे.the priest shall order that two live clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop be brought for the one to be cleansed.

5मग वाहत्या पाण्यावर मातीच्या पात्रात त्यातला एक पक्षी मारण्याची याजकाने आज्ञा द्यावी.Then the priest shall command that one of the birds be slaughtered over fresh water in a clay pot.

6याजकाने जिवंत पक्षी, गंधसरुचे लाकूड, किरमिजी रंगाचे कापड व एजोब ही सामग्री घेऊन जिवंत पक्षासह वाहत्या पाण्यावर मारलेल्या पक्ष्याच्या रक्तात बुडवावी;And he is to take the live bird together with the cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop, and dip them into the blood of the bird that was slaughtered over the fresh water.

7आणि ते रक्त महारोगापासून शुद्ध ठरवावयाच्या मनुष्यावर सात वेळा शिंपडावे; मग तो शुद्ध झाला आहे असे सांगावे व त्यानंतर याजकाने माळरानात जाऊन त्या जिवंत पक्ष्यास सोडून द्यावे;Seven times he shall sprinkle the one to be cleansed of the skin disease. Then he shall pronounce him clean and release the live bird into the open field.

8मग शुद्ध ठरवावयाच्या मनुष्याने आपले कपडे धुवावे, आपले मुंडन करून घ्यावे आणि पाण्याने स्नान करावे म्हणजे तो शुद्ध ठरेल; त्यानंतर त्याने छावणीत यावे; तरी त्याने सात दिवस आपल्या तंबूबाहेर रहावे;The one being cleansed must wash his clothes, shave off all his hair, and bathe with water; then he will be ceremonially clean. Afterward, he may enter the camp, but he must remain outside his tent for seven days.

9सातव्या दिवशी त्याने आपले डोके, दाढी, भुवया व अंगावरील एकंदर सर्व केस मुंडवावे; आपले कपडे धुवावे व पाण्याने स्नान करावे, म्हणजे तो शुद्ध होईल.On the seventh day he must shave off all his hair—his head, his beard, his eyebrows, and the rest of his hair. He must wash his clothes and bathe himself with water, and he will be clean.

10आठव्या दिवशी त्या मनुष्याने दोन निर्दोष कोकरे, एक वर्षाची निर्दोष मेंढी, अन्नार्पणासाठी तेलात मळलेला तीन दशांश एफा मैदा, व एक लोगभर तेल ही सामग्री याजकाकडे आणावी;On the eighth day he is to bring two unblemished male lambs, an unblemished ewe lamb a year old, a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil, and one log of olive oil.

11आणि शुद्ध ठरविणाऱ्या याजकाने शुद्ध ठरवणाऱ्या मनुष्यास, त्या अर्पण करावयाच्या सामग्रीसह परमेश्वरासमोर दर्शनमंडपाच्या दारापाशी उभे करावे.The priest who performs the cleansing shall present the one to be cleansed, together with these offerings, before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

12मग याजकाने दोषार्पणासाठी एक कोकरु व एक लोगभर तेल अर्पावे; ते ओवाळणीचे अर्पण म्हणून परमेश्वरासमोर ओवाळावे;Then the priest is to take one of the male lambs and present it as a guilt offering, along with the log of olive oil; and he must wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.

13मग याजकाने पवित्रस्थानात जेथे पापबली व होमबली ह्यांचा वध करतात तेथे ते कोकरु वधावे कारण पापबली प्रमाणेच दोषार्पणावरही याजकाचा हक्क आहे; हे अर्पण परमपवित्र आहे.Then he is to slaughter the lamb in the sanctuary area where the sin offering and burnt offering are slaughtered. Like the sin offering, the guilt offering belongs to the priest; it is most holy.

14मग याजकाने दोषार्पणाचे काही रक्त घेऊन शुद्ध ठरवावयाच्या मनुष्याच्या उजव्या कानाच्या पाळीला, उजव्या हाताच्या अंगठ्याला व उजव्या पायाच्या अंगठ्याला लावावे.The priest is to take some of the blood from the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

15याजकाने लोगभर तेलातले थोडेस तेल आपल्या डाव्या तळहातावर ओतावे;Then the priest shall take some of the log of olive oil, pour it into his left palm,

16मग याजकाने आपल्या उजव्या हाताचे बोट आपल्या डाव्या तळहातावरील तेलात बुडवून त्यातले काही परमेश्वरासमोर सात वेळा बोटाने शिंपडावे.dip his right forefinger into the oil in his left palm, and sprinkle some of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD.

17त्याच्या तळहातावर जे तेल उरेल त्यातले काही घेऊन याजकाने शुद्ध ठरवावयाच्या मनुष्याच्या उजव्या कानाच्या पाळीवरील, उजव्या हाताच्या अंगठ्यावरील व उजव्या पायाच्या अंगठ्यावरील दोषार्पणाच्या रक्तावर लवावे.And the priest is to put some of the oil remaining in his palm on the right earlobe of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot, on top of the blood of the guilt offering.

18तळहातावर उरलेले तेल याजकाने शुद्ध ठरवावयाच्या मनुष्याच्या डोक्याला लावावे आणि अशा प्रकारे त्या मनुष्यासाठी याजकाने परमेश्वरासमोर प्रायश्चित करावे.The rest of the oil in his palm, the priest is to put on the head of the one to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before the LORD.

19मग याजकाने पापबली अर्पावा आणि अशुद्ध झालेल्या मनुष्याच्या शुद्धतेसाठी प्रायश्चित करावे; त्यानंतर त्याने होमबलीचा वध करावा;Then the priest is to sacrifice the sin offering and make atonement for the one to be cleansed from his uncleanness. After that, the priest shall slaughter the burnt offering

20मग याजकाने होमबली व अन्नबली वेदीवर अर्पून त्या मनुष्यासाठी प्रायश्चित करावे म्हणजे तो शुद्ध ठरेल.and offer it on the altar, with the grain offering, to make atonement for him, and he will be clean.

21परंतु तो मनुष्य गरीब असून एवढे आणण्याची त्यास ऐपत नसेल तर त्याने आपल्या प्रायश्चितासाठी ओवाळणीचे एक कोकरु दोषार्पण म्हणून आणावे आणि अन्नार्पणासाठी तेलात मळलेला, एक दशांश एफा मैदा आणि एक लोगभर तेल आणावे;If, however, the person is poor and cannot afford these offerings, he is to take one male lamb as a guilt offering to be waved to make atonement for him, along with a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil for a grain offering, a log of olive oil,

22आणि ऐपतीप्रमाणे दोन होले किंवा पारव्याची दोन पिल्ले त्याने आणावी; त्यातील एक पापबली व एक होमबली व्हावा.and two turtledoves or two young pigeons, whichever he can afford, one to be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering.

23आठव्या दिवशी आपल्या शुद्धीकरणासाठी त्यानेही सामग्री घेऊन दर्शनमंडपाच्या दारापाशी याजकाकडे परमेश्वरासमोर जावे.On the eighth day he is to bring them for his cleansing to the priest at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting before the LORD.

24मग याजकाने ते दोषार्पणाचे कोकरू व लोगभर तेल घेऊन ओवाळणीचे अर्पण म्हणून परमेश्वरासमोर ओवाळावे.The priest shall take the lamb for the guilt offering, along with the log of olive oil, and wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.

25त्यानंतर याजकाने दोषार्पणाच्या कोकराचा वध करावा आणि त्याने त्या कोकऱ्याचे काही रक्त घेऊन शुद्ध ठरवावयाच्या व्यक्तीच्या उजव्या कानाच्या पाळीला, उजव्या हाताच्या अंगठ्याला व उजव्या पायाच्या अंगठ्यांला लावावे.And after he slaughters the lamb for the guilt offering, the priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.

26याजकाने त्या तेलातले काही आपल्या डाव्या तळहातावर ओतावे;Then the priest is to pour some of the oil into his left palm

27मग याजकाने उजव्या हाताच्या बोटाने त्यातील काही तेल परमेश्वरासमोर सात वेळा शिंपडावे.and sprinkle with his right forefinger some of the oil in his left palm seven times before the LORD.

28मग याजकाने आपल्या तळहातावरील काही तेल घेऊन शुद्ध ठरवावयाच्या मनुष्याच्या उजव्या कानाच्या पाळीवर, उजव्या हाताच्या व उजव्या पायाच्या अंगठ्यांवर, दोषार्पणाचे रक्त लावलेल्या जागेवर लावावे;The priest shall also put some of the oil in his palm on the right earlobe of the one to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot—on the same places as the blood of the guilt offering.

29याजकाने तळहातावर उरलेले तेल शुद्ध ठरवावयाच्या मनुष्याच्या डोक्याला परमेश्वरासमोर त्या मनुष्यासाठी प्रायश्चित म्हणून लावावे.The rest of the oil in his palm, the priest is to put on the head of the one to be cleansed, to make atonement for him before the LORD.

30मग त्याच्या ऐपतीप्रमाणे त्यास मिळालेले होले किंवा पारव्याची पिल्ले ह्यांच्यापैकी एकाचे त्याने अर्पण करावे;Then he must sacrifice the turtledoves or young pigeons, whichever he can afford,

31त्यांच्यापैकी एकाचे पापार्पण करावे व दुसऱ्याचे होमार्पण करावे; पक्ष्यांची ही अर्पणे त्याने अन्नार्पणासहीत करावी; ह्याप्रकारे याजकाने शुद्ध ठरवावयाच्या मनुष्याकरिता परमेश्वरासमोर प्रायश्चित करावे; मग तो मनुष्य शुद्ध होईल.one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering, together with the grain offering. In this way the priest will make atonement before the LORD for the one to be cleansed.

32अंगावरील महारोगाचा चट्टा बरा झालेल्या मनुष्यास आपल्या शुद्धीकरणासाठी साहित्य मिळण्याची ऐपत नसलेल्या मनुष्याच्या शुद्धीकरणासंबंधी हे नियम आहेत.This is the law for someone who has a skin disease and cannot afford the cost of his cleansing.”

33परमेश्वर मोशे व अहरोन ह्याना असेही म्हणाला,Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,

34कनान देश मी तुम्हास वतन म्हणून देत आहे. तुमचे लोक त्यामध्ये जाऊन पोहोंचतील त्यावेळी तुमच्या वतनाच्या देशातील एखाद्या घराला मी महारोगाचा चट्टा पाडला,“When you enter the land of Canaan, which I am giving you as your possession, and I put a contamination of mildew into a house in that land,

35तर त्या घराच्या मालकाने याजकाला जाऊन सांगावे की, माझ्या घरात चट्ट्यासारखे काहीतरी दिसते.the owner of the house shall come and tell the priest, ‘Something like mildew has appeared in my house.’

36मग याजकाने लोकांस घर रिकामे करण्याची आज्ञा द्यावी; लोकांनीही घरातील सर्व वस्तू याजक, चट्टा तपासण्यासाठी घरात जाण्याच्या अगोदर बाहेर काढाव्या नाहीतर घरातील सर्व वस्तू अशुद्ध समजाव्या. मग याजकाने रिकाम्या घरात जाऊन ते तपासावे.The priest must order that the house be cleared before he enters it to examine the mildew, so that nothing in the house will become unclean. After this, the priest shall go in to inspect the house.

37तो चट्टा त्याने तपासावा, आणि घराच्या भिंतीवर हिरवट किंवा तांबूस रंगाची छिद्रे किंवा खळगे असतील व ती भिंतीच्या पृष्ठभागाच्या आत गेली असतील.He is to examine the house, and if the mildew on the walls consists of green or red depressions that appear to be beneath the surface of the wall,

38तर मग याजकाने घराबाहेर दारापाशी यावे व ते घर सात दिवस बंद करून ठेवावे.the priest shall go outside the doorway of the house and close it up for seven days.

39मग सातव्या दिवशी याजकाने पुन्हा जाऊन ते घर तपासावे आणि तो चट्टा घराच्या भिंतीवर पसरला असल्यास,On the seventh day the priest is to return and inspect the house. If the mildew has spread on the walls,

40चट्टा असलेले दगड काढून नगराबाहेर एखाद्या अशुद्ध जागी टाकून देण्याची याजकाने लोकांस आज्ञा द्यावी.he must order that the contaminated stones be pulled out and thrown into an unclean place outside the city.

41मग याजकाने घर लोकांकडून आतून खरडवून घ्यावे आणि खरडवून काढलेला चुना नगराबाहेर अशुद्ध ठिकाणी लोकांनी टाकून द्यावा.And he shall have the inside of the house scraped completely and the plaster that is scraped off dumped into an unclean place outside the city.

42त्या मनुष्याने त्या दगडांच्या ऐवजी भिंतीत दुसरे दगड बसवावे आणि त्या घराला नव्या चुन्याचा गिलावा करावा.So different stones must be obtained to replace the contaminated ones, as well as additional mortar to replaster the house.

43जुने दगड काढून नवीन दगड बसविल्यावर व घर खरडवून नवीन गिलावा केल्यावर जर तो चट्टा घरात पुन्हा उद्भवला.If the mildew reappears in the house after the stones have been torn out and the house has been scraped and replastered,

44तर याजकाने आत जाऊन तो तपासावा; घरात तो चट्टा पसरला असल्यास तो घरात चरत जाणारा महारोगाचा चट्टा होय; ते घर अशुद्ध आहे.the priest must come and inspect it. If the mildew has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew; the house is unclean.

45मग त्या मनुष्याने ते घर खणून पाडावे; त्याचे दगड, लाकूड व सगळा चुना त्याने तेथून काढून नगराबाहेर एखाद्या अशुद्ध ठिकाणी फेकून द्यावा.It must be torn down with its stones, its timbers, and all its plaster, and taken outside the city to an unclean place.

46आणि घर बंद असताना त्यामध्ये कोणी शिरला तर त्याने संध्याकाळपर्यंत अशुद्ध रहावे;Anyone who enters the house during any of the days that it is closed up will be unclean until evening.

47त्या घरात कोणी काही खाल्ले किंवा कोणी त्या घरात निजला तर त्याने आपले कपडे धुवावे.And anyone who sleeps in the house or eats in it must wash his clothes.

48घराला नवीन दगड बसविल्यावर व नवीन गिलावा केल्यावर याजकाने आत जाऊन ते घर तपासावे आणि घरात चट्टा परत उद्भवला नसेल तर त्या घरातला चट्टा गेल्यामुळे त्याने ते शुद्ध ठरवावे.If, however, the priest comes and inspects it, and the mildew has not spread after the house has been replastered, he shall pronounce the house clean, because the mildew is gone.

49त्या घराच्या शुद्धीकरणासाठी दोन पक्षी, गंधसरुचे लाकूड, किरमिजी रंगाचे कापड व एजोब ही त्याने आणावी;He is to take two birds, cedar wood, scarlet yarn, and hyssop to purify the house;

50त्याने एक पक्षी वाहत्या पाण्यावर मातीच्या पात्रात मारावा;and he shall slaughter one of the birds over fresh water in a clay pot.

51मग त्याने गंधसरुचे लाकूड, एजोब, किरमिजी रंगाचे कापड व जिवंत पक्षी घेऊन त्या मारलेल्या पक्ष्याच्या रक्तात व वाहत्या पाण्यात बुडवून त्या घरावर सात वेळा शिंपडावे;Then he shall take the cedar wood, the hyssop, the scarlet yarn, and the live bird, dip them in the blood of the slaughtered bird and the fresh water, and sprinkle the house seven times.

52त्या पक्ष्याचे रक्त, वाहते पाणी, तो जीवंत पक्षी, गंधसरूचे लाकुड, एजोब, आणि किरमिजी रंगाचे कापड ह्याप्रकारे याजकाने ते घर शुद्ध करावे.And he shall cleanse the house with the bird’s blood, the fresh water, the live bird, the cedar wood, the hyssop, and the scarlet yarn.

53मग त्याने तो जिवंत पक्षी नगराबाहेर जाऊन माळरानात सोडून द्यावा; ह्याप्रकारे त्याने घरासाठी प्रायश्चित केले म्हणजे ते शुद्ध होईल.Finally, he is to release the live bird into the open fields outside the city. In this way he will make atonement for the house, and it will be clean.

54सर्व प्रकारचे महारोगाचे चट्टे, चाई,This is the law for any infectious skin disease, for a scaly outbreak,

55कपड्यावरील किंवा घराचा महारोग,for mildew in clothing or in a house,

56सूज, खवंद, तकतकीत डाग या सर्वासंबधीचे हे नियम आहेत;and for a swelling, rash, or spot,

57हे केव्हा शुद्ध व केव्हा अशुद्ध हे ठरविण्याविषयी शिकवतात; हे महारोगासंबंधीचे नियम आहेत.to determine when something is clean or unclean. This is the law regarding skin diseases and mildew.”
