I found the genealogical register of those who had first returned, and I found the following written in it:

6बंदिवासातून परत आलेले या प्रांतातले लोक असे. बाबेलचा राजा नबुखद्नेस्सर याने या लोकांस बाबेलला कैद करून नेले होते. हे लोक यरुशलेम आणि यहूदा येथे परतले. जो तो आपापल्या गावी गेला.These are the people of the province who came up from the captivity of the exiles carried away to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar its king. They returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town,

7जरुब्बाबेल बरोबर परत आले ते लोक असे: येशूवा, नहेम्या, अजऱ्या, राम्या, नहमानी, मर्दखय, बिलशान, मिस्पेरेथ बिग्वई, नहूम आणि बाना. इस्राएलचे जे लोक परतले त्यांची नावे आणि संख्या पुढीलप्रमाणे:accompanied by Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, and Baanah. 11येशूवा आणि यवाब यांच्या वंशावळीतील पहथ-मवाबाचे वंशज दोन हजार आठशें अठरा,the descendants of Pahath-moab (through the line of Jeshua and Joab), 2,818;

12एलामाचे वंशज एक हजार दोनशे चौपन्न,the descendants of Elam, 1,254;

13जत्तूचे वंशज आठशे पंचेचाळीस,the descendants of Zattu, 845;

14जक्काईचे वंशज सातशे साठ,the descendants of Zaccai, 760;

15बिन्नुईचे वंशज सहाशें अठ्ठेचाळीस,the descendants of Binnui, 648;

16बेबाईचे वंशज सहाशें अठ्ठावीसthe descendants of Bebai, 628;

17अजगादचे वंशज दोन हजार तीनशे बावीस,the descendants of Azgad, 2,322;

18अदोनीकामचे वंशज सहाशें सदुसष्ट,the descendants of Adonikam, 667;

19बिग्वईचे वंशज दोन हजार सदुसष्ट,the descendants of Bigvai, 2,067;

20आदीनाचे वंशज सहाशें पंचावन्न,the descendants of Adin, 655;

21हिज्कीयाच्या कुटुंबातील आटेराचे वंशज अठ्याण्णव,the descendants of Ater (through Hezekiah), 98;

22हाशूमाचे वंशज तीनशे अठ्ठावीस,the descendants of Hashum, 328;

23बेसाईचे वंशज तीनशे चोवीस,the descendants of Bezai, 324;

24हारिफाचे वंशज एकशे बारा,the descendants of Hariph, 112;

25गिबोनाचे वंशज पंचाण्णव,the descendants of Gibeon, 95;

26बेथलहेम आणि नटोफा येथील माणसे एकशे अठ्याऐंशी,the men of Bethlehem and Netophah, 188;

27अनाथोथाची माणसे एकशे अठ्ठावीस,the men of Anathoth, 128;

28बेथ-अजमावेथाची माणसे बेचाळीस,the men of Beth-azmaveth, 42;

29किर्याथ-यारीम, कफीरा व बैरोथयातली माणसे सातशे त्रेचाळीस,the men of Kiriath-jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, 743;

30रामा आणि गिबातली माणसे सहाशे एकवीस,the men of Ramah and Geba, 621;

31मिखमाशाची माणसे एकशे बावीस,the men of Michmash, 122;

32बेथेल आणि आय येथली माणसे एकशे तेवीस,the men of Bethel and Ai, 123;

33दुसऱ्या नबोची माणसे बावन्न,the men of the other Nebo, 52;

34दुसऱ्या एलामाची माणसे एक हजार दोनशे चौपन्न.the descendants of the other Elam, 1,254;

35हारीमाचे वंशज तीनशे वीस,the descendants of Harim, 320;

36यरीहोचे वंशज तीनशे पंचेचाळीस,the men of Jericho, 345;

37लोद, हादीद व ओनो याचे वंशज सातशे एकवीस,the men of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, 721;

38सनाहाचे वंशज तीन हजार नऊशें तीस.and the descendants of Senaah, 3,930.

39याजक पुढीलप्रमाणे: येशूवाच्या घराण्यातली यदया याचे वंशज नऊशें त्र्याहत्तरThe priests: the descendants of Jedaiah (through the house of Jeshua), 973;

40इम्मेराचे वंशज एक हजार बावन्न,the descendants of Immer, 1,052;

41पशहूराचे वंशज एक हजार दोनशे सत्तेचाळीस,the descendants of Pashhur, 1,247;

42हारीमाचे वंशज एक हजार सतरा,and the descendants of Harim, 1,017.

43लेवी:होदयाच्या कुळातली कदमीएलच्या घराण्यातील येशूवाचे वंशज चौऱ्याहत्तरThe Levites: the descendants of Jeshua (through Kadmiel, through the line of Hodevah), 74.

44गाणारे:आसाफाचे वंशज एकशे अठ्ठेचाळीस,The singers: the descendants of Asaph, 148.

45द्वारपाल: शल्लूम, आटेर, तल्मोन, अक्कूब, हतीता, शोबाचे वंशज एकशे अडतीस,The gatekeepers: the descendants of Shallum, the descendants of Ater, the descendants of Talmon, the descendants of Akkub, the descendants of Hatita, and the descendants of Shobai, 138 in all.

46हे मंदिराचे विशेष सेवेकरी:सीहा, हशूफा, तबायोथ, यांचे वंशज,The temple servants: the descendants of Ziha, the descendants of Hasupha, the descendants of Tabbaoth,

47केरोस, सीया, पादोनthe descendants of Keros, the descendants of Sia, the descendants of Padon,

48लबाना, हगाबा, सल्माईthe descendants of Lebanah, the descendants of Hagabah, the descendants of Shalmai,

49हानान, गिद्देल, गहार.the descendants of Hanan, the descendants of Giddel, the descendants of Gahar,

50राया, रसीन, नकोदाthe descendants of Reaiah, the descendants of Rezin, the descendants of Nekoda,

51गज्जाम, उज्जा. पासेहाthe descendants of Gazzam, the descendants of Uzza, the descendants of Paseah,

52बेसई, मऊनीम, नफूशेसीम.the descendants of Besai, the descendants of Meunim, the descendants of Nephushesim,

53बकबूक, हकूफ, हर्हूराचेthe descendants of Bakbuk, the descendants of Hakupha, the descendants of Harhur,

54बसलीथ, महीद, हर्शाthe descendants of Bazlith, the descendants of Mehida, the descendants of Harsha,

55बार्कोस, सीसरा, तामहthe descendants of Barkos, the descendants of Sisera, the descendants of Temah,

56नसीहा आणि हतीफाthe descendants of Neziah, and the descendants of Hatipha.

57शलमोनच्या सेवकांचे वंशज:सोताई, सोफेरेथ, परीदाThe descendants of the servants of Solomon: the descendants of Sotai, the descendants of Sophereth, the descendants of Perida,

58याला, दार्कोन, गिद्देलthe descendants of Jaala, the descendants of Darkon, the descendants of Giddel,

59शफाट्या, हत्तील, पोखेरेथ-हस्सबाईम आणि आमोन.the descendants of Shephatiah, the descendants of Hattil, the descendants of Pochereth-hazzebaim, and the descendants of Amon.

60मंदिराचे सेवेकरी आणि शलमोनाच्या सेवकांचे वंशज मिळून तीनशे ब्याण्णव होते.The temple servants and descendants of the servants of Solomon numbered 392 in all.

61तेल-मेलह, तेल-हर्षा, करुब, अद्दोन व इम्मेर या गावांमधून काही लोक यरुशलेमेला आले होते पण आपली घराणी मूळ इस्राएलामधलीच आहेत हे त्यांना सिद्ध करून सांगता येत नव्हते. ते लोक असेःThe following came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer, but they could not prove that their families were descended from Israel:

62दलाया, तोबीया आणि नकोदायांचे वंशज सहाशे बेचाळीस.the descendants of Delaiah, the descendants of Tobiah, and the descendants of Nekoda, 642 in all.

63आणि याजकांपैकीः हबाया, हक्कोस, बर्जिल्ल्या (गिलादाच्या बर्जिल्याच्या कन्येशी लग्र करणाऱ्याची गणाना बर्जिल्ल्याच्या वंशजात होई)And from among the priests: the descendants of Hobaiah, the descendants of Hakkoz, and the descendants of Barzillai (who had married a daughter of Barzillai the Gileadite and was called by their name).

65अत्यंत पवित्र अन्न या लोकांनी खाऊ नये अशी राज्यपालाने त्यांना आज्ञा दिली. ऊरीम व थुम्मीम घातलेल्या मुख्य याजकाने याबाबतीत देवाची अनुज्ञा घेईपर्यंत या अन्नातले काही खायचे नव्हते.The governor ordered them not to eat the most holy things until there was a priest to consult the Urim and Thummim.

66सर्व मंडळीतले मिळून एकंदर बेचाळीस हजार तीनशे साठ लोक होते.The whole assembly numbered 42,360,

67यामध्ये त्यांच्या सात हजार तीनशे सदतीस स्त्री-पुरुष सेवक व दोनशे पंचेचाळीस गायक व गायिका होत्या.in addition to their 7,337 menservants and maidservants, as well as their 245 male and female singers.

68त्यांच्याजवळ सातशे छत्तीस घोडे, दोनशे पंचेचाळीस खेचरे,They had 736 horses, 245 mules,

69चारशे पस्तीस उंट आणि सहा हजार सातशे वीस गाढवे होती.435 camels, and 6,720 donkeys.

71काही घराण्याच्या प्रमुखांनी कामाला सहाय्य म्हणून भांडाराला वीस हजार दारिक सोने आणि दोन हजार दोनशे माने रुपे देखील दिले.And some of the heads of the families gave to the treasury for the project 20,000 darics of gold and 2,200 minas of silver.

72इतर सर्व लोकांनी मिळून वीस हजार दारिक सोने, दोन हजार माने रुपे आणि याजकांसाठी सदुसष्ट वस्त्रे दिली.The rest of the people gave a total of 20,000 darics of gold, 2,000 minas of silver, and 67 priestly garments.

73अशाप्रकारे याजक, लेवीच्या घराण्यातील लोक, द्वारपाल, गायक आणि मंदिरातील सेवेकरी आपापल्या गावी स्थिरावले. इतर इस्राएल लोकही आपापल्या गावी स्थायिक झाले. आणि सातव्या महिन्यापर्यंत सर्व इस्राएल लोक स्वत:च्या गावांमध्ये स्थिरस्थावर झाले.So the priests, Levites, gatekeepers, singers, and temple servants, along with some of the people and the rest of the Israelites, settled in their own towns. And by the seventh month the Israelites had settled in their towns.
