BSB BSB: whose buyers slaughter them without remorse. Those who sell them say, ‘Blessed be the LORD, for I am rich!’ Even their own shepherds have no compassion on them.
6 ULB मला या देशात राहणाऱ्या लोकांबद्दल यापुढे दु:ख होणार नाही.” परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो. “पाहा! मी त्यांना एकमेकांच्या व राजाचा तावडीत देईन; आणि याप्रकारे ते देशाचा नाश करतील व मी त्यांना त्यांच्या हातातून सोडविणार नाही.” BSB BSB: For I will no longer have compassion on the people of the land, declares the LORD, but behold, I will cause each man to fall into the hands of his neighbor and his king, who will devastate the land, and I will not deliver it from their hands.”

BSB BSB: So I pastured the flock marked for slaughter, especially the afflicted of the flock. Then I took for myself two staffs, calling one Favor and the other Union, and I pastured the flock.
8 ULB एका महिन्यात मी तीन मेंढपाळांचा नाश केला. कारण मला त्या मेंढपाळांचा कंटाळा आला व त्यांचा जीव माझा तिरस्कार करू लागला. BSB BSB: And in one month I dismissed three shepherds. My soul grew impatient with the flock, and their souls also detested me.
9 ULB मग मी म्हणालो, “आता मी तुमचा सांभाळ करणार नाही. जी मरायला टेकली आहेत ती मरोत; कोणी नष्ट झाले तर होऊ द्या; आणि जी वाचतील ती एकमेकांचे मांस खातील.” BSB BSB: Then I said, “I will no longer shepherd you. Let the dying die, and the perishing perish; and let those who remain devour one another’s flesh.”

12 ULB मग मी म्हणालो, “तुमची इच्छा असल्यास माझी मजूरी द्या. इच्छा नसल्यास देऊ नका.” तेव्हा त्यांनी मला तीस चांदीची नाणी दिली. BSB BSB: Then I told them, “If it seems right to you, give me my wages; but if not, keep them.” So they weighed out my wages, thirty pieces of silver.
13 ULB तेव्हा परमेश्वर मला म्हणाला, “त्यांच्या लेखी तुझी जी किंमत आहे, ती रक्कम तू मंदिराच्या खजिन्यात फेकून दे.” मग मी तीस चांदीची नाणी परमेश्वराच्या मंदिराच्या पैशाच्या पेटीत टाकली. BSB BSB: And the LORD said to me, “Throw it to the potter”—this magnificent price at which they valued me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
14 ULB मग मी ऐक्य नावाच्या काठीचे दोन तुकडे केले जेणेकरून यहूदा आणि इस्राएल यांच्यामधील बंधुत्त्व मोडावे. BSB BSB: Then I cut in two my second staff called Union, breaking the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
15 ULB मग परमेश्वर मला म्हणाला, “आता, पुन्हा एका मूर्ख मेंढपाळाची अवजारे घे. BSB BSB: And the LORD said to me: “Take up once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd.
16 ULB पाहा, मी या देशासाठी नवीन मेंढपाळ निवडीन. पण तो नाश पावणाऱ्या मेढरांची काळजी घेणार नाही. भटकलेल्या मेढरांना तो शोधणार नाही, मोडलेल्यांना बरे करणार नाही. ज्या मेंढ्या पोसलेल्या आहेत त्यांना तो चारापाणी देणार नाही. तर तो सशक्त मेंढ्यांचे मांस खाईल आणि फक्त त्यांचे खूर शिल्लक ठेवील.” BSB BSB: For behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land who will neither care for the lost, nor seek the young, nor heal the broken, nor sustain the healthy, but he will devour the flesh of the choice sheep and tear off their hooves.
17 ULB मेंढरांना टाकून जाणाऱ्या निरुपयोगी मेंढपाळाचा धिक्कार असो! त्याच्या उजव्या खांद्यावर व उजव्या डोळ्यावर तलवार येवो. म्हणजे त्याचा उजवा खांदा निकामी होवो आणि तो उजव्या डोळ्याने अंध होईल. BSB BSB: Woe to the worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock! May a sword strike his arm and his right eye! May his arm be completely withered and his right eye utterly blinded!”
