1Kantrin kamɨn itir gumazamiziba, Ikiavɨra Itir God mati kotɨn aven kamaghɨn mɨgɨrɨgɨam me gasi: “O Israelia, ia Ikiavɨra Itir Godɨn akam baragh! A kamaghɨn ia mɨgei, ‘Kantrin kamɨn gumazamiziba guizɨn arazibar gɨn zuir puvatɨ. Egha gumazamizir igharazibagh ifongezir puvatɨ. Me kamaghɨn nɨghnɨzir puvatɨ, kɨ men God.Hear the word of the LORD, O children of Israel, for the LORD has a case against the people of the land: “There is no truth, no loving devotion, and no knowledge of God in the land!

2Me akar kurabar gumazamizibav gei. Me uarigh ifarava, gumazamizibav sozi me ariaghiri, egha igharazibar biziba okɨava, egha poroghamiba uari bakeir arazim gami. Me arazir kurar avɨrim saram ami, egha gumazamizibav suagharɨgha ghuavɨra iti. Ezɨ arazir kam bar ekevegha ghuavɨra iti.Cursing and lying, murder and stealing, and adultery are rampant; one act of bloodshed follows another.

3Kamaghɨn amizɨ, nguazir kam osɨmtɨzim ikia mɨsigham. Ezɨ nguazimɨn itir gumazamiziba, ko an itir biziba bar, kar asɨziba ko, kuaraziba, ko, osiriba, da bar arɨmɨghiregham.’ ”Therefore the land mourns, and all who dwell in it will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air; even the fish of the sea disappear.

4Egha Ikiavɨra Itir God mati kotɨn aven ua kamaghɨn mɨgei: “Gumazitam akam gumazamizibagh asan kogham. Markiam. Ia ofa gamir gumaziba, arazir kurar kamɨn mɨngarim a ian iti. Ezɨ gumazamiziba mɨgɨrɨgɨam ian iti.But let no man contend; let no man offer reproof; for your people are like those who contend with a priest.

5Ia zurara ingangarim gamua, deraghavɨra ingarir puvatɨgha asaghporavɨra iti. Ezɨ Godɨn akam inigha izir gumaziba uaghan kamaghɨram ami. Kamaghɨn amizɨ, kɨ Israel gasɨghasigham, a mati ian amebam.You will stumble by day, and the prophet will stumble with you by night; so I will destroy your mother—

6Nan gumazamiziba nan akamɨn gɨn zuir puvatɨ. Kamaghɨn amizɨ, me ikuvigham. Ia ofa gamir gumaziba uaghan, nan gɨn zuir puvatɨ, egha nan fofozim batuegha gɨfa. Kamaghɨn amizɨ, kɨ ia batuegham. Egh ian otariba ateghtɨ, me nan ofa gamir gumazibar ikian kogham.My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you as My priests. Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.

7“Ia ofa gamir gumaziba bar avɨraseme, egha kamaghɨn ia arazir kurar avɨrim gami. Ia datɨrɨghɨn ziar ekiaba iti. Eghtɨ kɨ ia abɨraghtɨ, ia bar aghumsigham.The more they multiplied, the more they sinned against Me; they exchanged their Glory for a thing of disgrace.

8Nan gumazamizibar arazir kuraba mati ian daghem. Kamaghɨn amizɨ, me arazir kurabar amuvɨra ikiasa ia bar ifonge.They feed on the sins of My people and set their hearts on iniquity.

9Kɨ pazɨ gumazamizibar amightɨ, me ikuvigham. Eghtɨ ia ofa gamir gumaziba, men mɨrara ikuvigham. Kɨ ian arazir kurar ia amiziba ikarvagh pazɨ ia damuam.And it shall be like people, like priest. I will punish both of them for their ways and repay them for their deeds.

10Ia akɨrim ragha Ikiavɨra Itir God gasaragha pura asebar gɨn zui. Kamaghɨn amizɨ, ia dagher aghuibar amɨva, egh izɨvaghan kogham. Ia borir avɨriba inisɨ, asebar ziaba fɨva, poroghamiba uari bakeir arazim damuva, egh ia boriba puvatɨgh kamaghɨra ikiam.”They will eat but not be satisfied; they will be promiscuous but not multiply. For they have abandoned the LORD to give themselves

11Egha Ikiavɨra Itir God kamaghɨn mɨgei: “Wainɨn dɨpaba apir arazim ko, tuavir amiziba ko, akuir araziba, nan gumazamizibar nɨghnɨzibagh amizɨ, me onganigha, deraghavɨra nɨghnɨzir puvatɨ.to promiscuity, wine, and new wine, which take away understanding.

12Egha me akar mogomeba azenim darɨghasa, pura ter otevibar ingarizir marvir guabar azangsɨsi. Me ghaze, ter otevir kaba, bizir me foghasa ifongezibar gun me mɨkɨmam. Me na ategha gɨfa, egha asebar gɨn zui, mati amizir mam tintinimɨn gumaziba koma akui.My people consult their wooden idols, and their divining rods inform them. For a spirit of prostitution leads them astray and they have played the harlot against their God.

13Me mɨghsɨabar orazibar ghuavanaga ofabagh ami. Pɨn itir temer kabar apengan dughuazir orangtɨzim iti. Kamaghɨn amizɨ, me temer ekiabar apengan ikia ofan mɨgharir mughuriar aghuim zuibagh ami. Kamaghɨn amizɨ, ian guiviba tuavimɨn amizibar mɨn tintinimɨn gumaziba koma akui. Ezɨ ian otaribar amuiba poroghamiba uari bakeir arazim gami.They sacrifice on the mountaintops and burn offerings on the hills, under oak, poplar, and terebinth, because their shade is pleasant. And so your daughters turn to prostitution and your daughters-in-law to adultery.

14“Ia uari uaghan asebar ziaba fer dɨpenibar itir, tuavimɨn amizibar gɨn arui. Egha ia me ko ikiava me ko asebar ofa gami. Ezɨ kamaghɨn kɨ ian guiviba ko, ian otaribar amuibar arazir kuraba ikaraghan kogham. Egha kɨ bighavɨra kamaghɨn ia mɨgei, ‘Ia gumazamizir nɨghnɨzir aghuariba puvatɨziba, ia ikuvigham.’I will not punish your daughters when they prostitute themselves, nor your daughters-in-law when they commit adultery. For the men themselves go off with prostitutes and offer sacrifices with shrine prostitutes. So a people without understanding will come to ruin.

15“Ia Israelian gumazamiziba mati amizim tintinimɨn gumaziba koma akui, egha ia na ategha gɨfa. Ia deraghvɨra ganigh, ia Judan gumazamizibar amamangatɨghtɨ, me ian mɨn arazir kamra damigh uaghan osɨmtɨzim ikiam. Ia Gilgal ko, Betelɨn mangɨ ofabar amuan markɨ. Ia aningɨn mangɨtɨ, aning uaghan nguibar kuramningɨn mɨn otogham. Egh ia nguibar kamningɨn ikɨ, kɨ Ikiavɨra Itir Godɨn Zurara Itimɨn akakagh nan ziamɨn akar dɨkɨrɨzibar amuan markɨ.Though you prostitute yourself, O Israel, may Judah avoid such guilt! Do not journey to Gilgal, do not go up to Beth-aven, and do not swear on oath, ‘As surely as the LORD lives!’

Kɨ garima, me puv akaba batosi, eghtɨ kɨ manmaghɨn me geghuvam? Ti puvatɨgham!For Israel is as obstinate as a stubborn heifer. Can the LORD now shepherd them like lambs in an open meadow?

17Efraimia bar uari isa asebagh anigha dar gɨn zui. Markɨ, ia me ateghtɨ me mar uan ifongiabar gɨn mangɨ.Ephraim is joined to idols; leave him alone!

18Men gumazir aruaba aghumsɨzir arazim bar a gifonge. Kamaghɨn amizɨ, me wainɨn avɨriba apava ongani, egha gɨn me poroghamiba uari bakeir arazim tintinimɨn a gami.When their liquor is gone, they turn to prostitution; their rulers dearly love disgrace.

19Ia oragh! Kɨ amɨnir gavgavim bizibagh ivai da zui moghɨn, kɨ me inigh mangɨtɨ me ikuvigham. Eghtɨ me ofan asebagh amizibagh nɨghnɨgh, bar aghumsigham.”The whirlwind has wrapped them in its wings, and their sacrifices will bring them shame.
