1 IRV Sabi kena morom Isor pora moi khan ke dise, moi khan Isor laga bachha ase kobole nimite, aru moi khan eitu hai ase. Eitu karone, prithibi pora moi khan ke najane, kelemane tai khan Isor ke najane. BSB BSB: Behold what manner of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God. And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.
2 IRV Morom thaka bhai khan, moi khan etiya Isor laga bachha ase aru moi khan ki hobo etiya bhi eitu dekhai diya nai. BSB BSB: Beloved, we are now children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that when Christ appears, we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He is.

5 IRV Apuni jane Khrista ke dekhai dise eitu paap khan hatai dibole nimite, aru Tar logote eku paap khan nai. BSB BSB: But you know that Christ appeared to take away sins, and in Him there is no sin.
6 IRV Kun manu Tar logote thake tai aru paap kaam kori nathake. Aru kun manu paap kaam kore tai Isor ke dekha nai, aru Tar ke janibole para nai. BSB BSB: No one who remains in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has seen Him or known Him.
7 IRV Morom laga bacha khan, kun pora bhi apuni ke beya rasta te loi jabole nidibi. Kun manu bhal kaam kore tai dharmik ase, Khrista dharmik thaka nisina. BSB BSB: Little children, let no one deceive you: The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as Christ is righteous.
8 IRV Kun manu paap kore tai Saitan laga ase, kelemane Saitan bhi suru pora paap kaam kori kena ahise. Eitu nimite Isor laga Putro ke dekhai dise, aru Tar Saitan laga kaam khan khotom kori dibo. BSB BSB: The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil.
9 IRV Kun manu Isor pora jonom loise tai beya kam kori kena nathake kelemane Isor laga bijon tai logote ase. Tai paap kori kena thakibole napare kelemane tai Isor pora jonom hoise. BSB BSB: Anyone born of God refuses to practice sin, because God’s seed abides in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.
10 IRV Eitu pora Isor laga bachha aru Saitan laga bachha khan ke dekhai diye: Kun manu dharmik kaam nokore tai Isor laga nohoi, aru kun manu tai nijor laga bhai ke morom nokore tai bhi Isor laga nohoi. BSB BSB: By this the children of God are distinguished from the children of the devil: Anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is anyone who does not love his brother.
11 IRV Kelemane apuni khan suru pora eitu kotha huni kena ahise, moi khan ekjon- ekjon ke morom koribole lage. BSB BSB: This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
12 IRV Moi khan Cain nisina nohobole lage, kun beya ekjon pora thakise aru nijor bhai ke morai dise. Ki nimite tai ke morai dise? Kelemane tai laga kaam khan beya thakise aru tai laga bhai Abel ekjon dharmik manu thakise. BSB BSB: Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did Cain slay him? Because his own deeds were evil, while those of his brother were righteous.
13 IRV Apuni khan asurit nalagibi, moi laga bhai khan jodi apuni ke eitu prithibi pora ghin kore. BSB BSB: So do not be surprised, brothers, if the world hates you.
15 IRV Kun manu nijor bhai ke morom nokore tai manu morai diya manu ase. Apuni jane manu morai diya manu ketiya bhi ananta jibon tai logote thakibole naparibo. BSB BSB: Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that eternal life does not reside in a murderer.
16 IRV Eitu pora moi khan morom tu jane, kelemane Khrista moi khan nimite Tar laga jibon tu dise. Moi khan bhi nijor laga bhai khan nimite jibon tu dibole lage. BSB BSB: By this we know what love is: Jesus laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
17 IRV Kintu kun manu logote prithibi laga sob saman ase, aru tai laga bhai dukh te ase koi kena, kintu bhai nimite mon tu bon kori kena rakhe, tetiya hoile tai logote Isor laga morom tu kote ase? BSB BSB: If anyone with earthly possessions sees his brother in need, but withholds his compassion from him, how can the love of God abide in him?
18 IRV Moi laga morom bachha khan, moi khan khali kotha aru mukh pora morom nokoribo, kintu kaam aru hosa pora. BSB BSB: Little children, let us love not in word and speech, but in action and truth.
19 IRV Eitu pora jane moi khan hosa te ase koi kena, aru moi khan laga mon Tar usorte rakhi diye. BSB BSB: And by this we will know that we belong to the truth, and will assure our hearts in His presence:
20 IRV Jodi moi khan laga mon pora moi khan ke beya ase koi, Isor tu moi khan laga mon pora bhi dangor ase, aru Tar sob kotha tu jane. BSB BSB: Even if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts, and He knows all things.
21 IRV Morom bhai khan, jodi moi khan laga nijor mon pora moi khan ke beya nokoi, moi khan Isor uporte bharosa ase. BSB BSB: Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God,
22 IRV Moi khan ki mange eitu pai jabo, kelemane moi khan Tar laga kotha mani kena thake aru Tar ki khusi pai eitu khan kora nimite. BSB BSB: and we will receive from Him whatever we ask, because we keep His commandments and do what is pleasing in His sight.
23 IRV Eitu Tar laga kotha khan ase: moi khan Tar laga Putro Jisu Khrista ke bisas koribo aru ekjon- ekjon ke morom koribo, Tar pora eitu kotha moi khan ke diya nisina. BSB BSB: And this is His commandment: that we should believe in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ, and we should love one another just as He commanded us.
24 IRV Kun manu kotha khan mani kena thake Tar logote ase, aru Tar bhi tai khan logote ase. Eitu pora jane Tar moi khan logote ase, eitu Aatma pora kun ke moi khan nimite dise. BSB BSB: Whoever keeps His commandments remains in God, and God in him. And by this we know that He remains in us: by the Spirit He has given us.
