Kodwa mina ngiphakathi kwenu njengalowo oliphakelayo.For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines? But I am among you as one who serves.

28Liyilabo abame lami ebunzimeni bami.You are the ones who have stood by Me in My trials.

29Ngakho ngiyalinika umbuso njengoba uBaba wanginika lami,And I bestow on you a kingdom, just as My Father has bestowed one on Me,

52UJesu wasesithi kubaphristi abakhulu, lezikhulu zabalindi bethempeli kanye labadala bebandla ababemlandile, “Ngikhokhela umvukela yini lize liphethe izinkemba lenduku?Then Jesus said to the chief priests, temple officers, and elders who had come for Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against an outlaw?

53Zonke insuku bengilani emagumeni ethempeli, kodwa kalizange lingithinte. Kodwa lesi yisikhathi senu, lapho kubusa umnyama.”Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on Me. But this hour belongs to you and to the power of darkness.”
