1 UDB त्यसैदिन चेलाहरूसँगै येशूले, उहाँले शिक्षा दिँदै गर्नुभएको घर छोड्नुभयो र गालील समुद्रको किनारमा जानुभयो। उहाँ त्यहाँ बस्नुभयो, BSB BSB: That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea.

3 UDB धेरैवटा दृष्टान्तहरूको प्रयोग गरेर उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सिकाउनुभयो। उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “सुन! एकजना मानिस बीउ छर्नलाई आफ्नो खेतमा गयो। BSB BSB: And He told them many things in parables, saying, “A farmer went out to sow his seed.
4 UDB उसले माटोमाथि बीउ छर्दै गर्दा, केही बीउ बाटोमा झरे। तर केही चराहरू आए र ती बीउ खाए। BSB BSB: And as he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it.
5 UDB अरू बीउ चट्टानमाथि पातलो माटो भएको जमीनमा झरे। घामले पातलो माटोलाई छिट्टै मनतातो बनाइदिएको कारणले ती बीउ तुरून्तै उम्रिए। BSB BSB: Some fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly because the soil was shallow.
6 UDB तर जब कलिला बिरुवाहरू माथि आए, चर्को घामले ती ज्यादै तातो भए, र ती सुके किनभने तिनीहरूको जरा गहिरोमा थिएन। BSB BSB: But when the sun rose, the seedlings were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.
7 UDB अरू बीउ काँडे झारहरू भएको जमिनमा झरे। कलिला बिरुवाहरू सँगसँगै काँडे झारहरू पनि बढे, र तिनीहरूले बिरुवाहरूलाई निसासी दिए। BSB BSB: Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the seedlings.
8 UDB तर अरू बीउ असल जमीनमा झरे, र बिरुवाहरू बढे र धेरै अन्न उब्जाए। केही बिरुवाहरूले रोपेको बीउको सयगुणा बढी उब्जाए। केही बिरुवाहरूले साठीगुणा बढी उब्जाए। केही बिरुवाहरूले तीसगुणा बढी उब्जाए। BSB BSB: Still other seed fell on good soil and produced a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold.
9 UDB तिमीहरू यो बुझ्न सक्षम छौ भने, मैले भर्खरै भनेको कुरालाई तिमीहरूले होसियार भएर विचार गर्नुपर्छ। BSB BSB: He who has ears, let him hear.”
10 UDB चेलाहरू पछि येशूकहाँ आए र उहाँलाई सोधे, “तपाईं भिडसँग बोल्नुहुँदा, किन तपाईं उखानहरू प्रयोग गर्नुहुन्छ?” BSB BSB: Then the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Why do You speak to the people in parables?”
11 UDB उहाँले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “कसरी परमेश्वरले स्वर्गबाट राज्य गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ भन्ने बारेमा जे यसअघि उहाँले प्रकट गर्नुभएको थिएन त्यो उहाँले तिमीहरूलाई प्रकट गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ। तर यी अरू मानिसहरूलाई उहाँले त्यो प्रकट गर्नुभएको छैन। BSB BSB: He replied, “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
12 UDB म जे भन्छु त्यसको बारेमा विचार गर्न सक्ने र त्यसलाई बुझ्न सक्ने मानिसहरूलाई परमेश्वरले अझै धेरै बुझ्न सक्ने बनाउनुहुन्छ। तर म जे भन्छु त्यसको बारेमा होशियार भएर विचार गर्न नसक्ने मानिसहरूले जे जानेका छन् त्यो पनि बिर्सिने छन् BSB BSB: Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
13 UDB त्यसकारणले म मानिसहरूसँग बोल्दा दृष्टान्तहरूको प्रयोग गर्छु, किनभने मैले गरेको काम तिनीहरूले देख्छन्, तापनि, त्यसको अर्थ के हुन्छ त्यो तिनीहरूले बुझ्दैनन्, र मैले भनेको कुरा तिनीहरूले सुन्छन्, तापनि, त्यसको अर्थ के हुन्छ त्यो तिनीहरूले साँच्चै सिक्तैनन्। BSB BSB: This is why I speak to them in parables: ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.’
14 UDB यी मानिसहरूले गर्ने कुराले परमेश्वरले यशैया अगमवक्तालाई धेरै अघि बोल्न भन्नुभएको कुरालाई पूर्णरूपमा पूरा गर्छ, मैले भनेको कुराहरू तिमीहरूले सुन्ने छौ, तर तिमीहरूले बुझ्ने छैनौ। मैले गरेका कुराहरू तिमीहरूले देख्नेछौ तर यसको अर्थ तिमीहरूले सिक्ने छैनौ। BSB BSB: In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.

Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.’

17 UDB यो कुरा ध्यान देऊः मैले गरेका कुरा जो तिमीहरू देख्दै छौ, धेरै अघि जीवन बिताएका धेरैजना अगमवक्ताहरू र धार्मिक मानिसहरूले हेर्ने इच्छा गरे, तर तिनीहरूले ती देख्न पाएनन्। मैले भनेका कुरा जो तिमीहरूले सुनिरेहका छौ, तिनीहरूले सुन्ने इच्छा गरे, तर मैले भनेको कुरा जो तिमीहरू सुन्छौ, तिनीहरूले सुन्न पाएनन्। BSB BSB: For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.
18 UDB अब मैले तिमीहरूलाई भनेको दृष्टान्तको अर्थ म स्पष्ट पार्छु। BSB BSB: Consider, then, the parable of the sower:
19 UDB केही मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरले कसरी राज्य गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ भन्ने बारेमा सुन्छन् तर त्यो बुझ्दैनन्। तिनीहरू बाटो जस्तै हुन् जहाँ केही बीउ झरे। दुष्ट शैतान आउँछ र यी मानिसहरूलाई आफूले सुनेका कुरा बिर्सने बनाउँछ। BSB BSB: When anyone hears the message of the kingdom but does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
20 UDB कोही मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको सन्देश सुन्छन् र तत्कालै आनन्दसाथ त्यो ग्रहण गर्छन्। तिनीहरू चट्टान भएको जमीनहरू जस्तै हुन् जहाँ केही बीउ झरे। BSB BSB: The seed sown on rocky ground is the one who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.
21 UDB तर त्यो तिमीहरूको हृदयभित्र गहिरो गरी पस्दैन, तिनीहरूले छोटो समयको लागि मात्र विश्वास गर्छन्। तिनीहरू गहिरोमा जरा नभएका बिरुवाहरू जस्ता हुँन्। मैले भनेका कुरामा तिनीहरूले विश्वास गरेका कारणले अरूहरूले तिनीहरूलाई नराम्रो व्यवहार गर्दा र दुख दिँदा तिनीहरूले त्यसमा विश्वास गर्न इन्कार गरेर पाप गर्छन्। BSB BSB: But since he has no root, he remains for only a season. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, he quickly falls away.

23 UDB तर कोही मानिसहरूले मेरो सन्देश सुन्छन् र त्यो बुझ्छन्। तिनीहरूमध्ये कसैले परमेश्वरलाई खुशी पार्ने धेरै कुराहरू गर्छन्, कसैले परमेश्वरलाई खुशी पार्ने भन्दा पनि अझै धेरै कुराहरू गर्छन्, र कसैले परमेश्वरलाई खुशी पार्ने भन्दा अत्यन्तै धेरै कुराहरू गर्छन्। तिनीहरू असल जमीिनहरू जस्तो हो जहाँ केही बीउ झरे।” BSB BSB: But the seed sown on good soil is the one who hears the word and understands it. He indeed bears fruit and produces a crop—a hundredfold, sixtyfold, or thirtyfold.”
25 UDB ती सेवकहरू निदाउँदै गर्दा र खेतको रेखदेख नगर्दा, जमिन्दारको एकजना शत्रु आयो र गहुँको बिचमा सामाको बीउ छर्यो। त्यसपछि ऊ गयो। BSB BSB: But while everyone was asleep, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and slipped away.
26 UDB बीउ उम्रिए र हरिया बिरुवाहरू बढेपछि, अन्नाका बालाहरू निस्कन लागे। तर सामाहरू पनि बढे। BSB BSB: When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared.
27 UDB यसैले जमिन्दारको सेवकहरू आए र तिनलाई भने, “मालिक, तपाईंले हामीलाई असल बीउ दिनुभयो, र तपाईंको खेतमा हामीले त्यही बीउ छर्यौं। यसैले सामाहरू कहाँबाट आए?” BSB BSB: The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’
28 UDB जमिन्दारले तिनीहरूलाई भने, ‘मेरो शत्रुले यो गर्यो।’ तिनको सेवकहरूले तिनलाई भने, ‘के हामी सामा उखेलौं भनी तपाईं इच्छा गर्नुहुन्छ?’ BSB BSB: ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. So the servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
29 UDB तिनले तिनीहरूलाई भने, ‘अहँ! त्यसो नगर, किनभने साथसाथै तिमीहरूले केही गहुँ पनि उखेल्न सक्छौ। BSB BSB: ‘No,’ he said, ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them.
30 UDB कटानीको समय नभएसम्म गहुँ र सामा सँगसँगै बढ्न देओ। त्यसबेला काट्नेहरूलाई म भन्ने छु, ‘पहिले सामा जम्मा गर र त्यसलाई जलाउन मुठा बाँध। त्यसपछि गहुँ जम्मा गर र मेरो भकारीहरूमा हाल।’” BSB BSB: Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn.’”
31 UDB येशूले यो दृष्टान्त पनि भन्नुभयोः “जब परमेश्वरले स्वर्गबाट राज्य गर्नुहुन्छ, त्यो रायोको बीउ जस्तो हो जुन एकजना मानिसले आफ्नो खेतमा छरेपछि बढ्छन्। BSB BSB: He put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in his field.
32 UDB यद्यपि रायोको बीउ, मानिसहरूले छर्ने सबै बीउमध्ये सबभन्दा साना हुन्छन्, यहाँ इस्राएलमा ती ठूला विरुवाहरू हुन्छन्। जब ती बिरुवाहरू पूरा बढेका हुन्छन्, ती तरकारी बारीका अरू बिरुवाहरू भन्दा ठूला हुन्छन्। ती रूखहरू जत्रा ठूला झाडीहरू हुन्छन्, र तिनीहरूका हाँगाहरूमा चराहरूका लागि गूँडहरू बनाउन पुग्ने ठूला हुन्छ।” BSB BSB: Although it is the smallest of all seeds, yet it grows into the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”
33 UDB येशूले यो दृष्टान्त पनि भन्नुभयोः “जब परमेश्वरले स्वर्गबाट राज्य गर्नुहुन्छ, यो रोटी बनाउँदै गरेकी एउटी महिला जस्तै हो। तिनले चालिस किलो जति पिठो लिइन् र थोरै खमिर मिसाइन, अनि रोटी फुल्यो।” BSB BSB: He told them still another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and mixed into three measures of flour, until all of it was leavened.”
34 UDB यी सबै कुराहरू भीडलाई सिकाउनलाई येशूले तिनीहरूलाई दृष्टान्तहरू भन्नुभयो। उहाँले तिनीहरूसँग बोल्नुहुँदा, उहाँले स्वभाविकरूपमा यस्ता कथाहरू भन्नुभयो। BSB BSB: Jesus spoke all these things to the crowds in parables. He did not tell them anything without using a parable.
35 UDB त्यसो गरेर धेरै अघि परमेश्वरले अगमवक्ताहरूमध्ये एकजनालाई लेख्न लगाउनुभएको कुरा उहाँले पूरा गर्नुभयो। “म दृष्टान्तहरूमा बोल्ने छु; मैले संसार सृष्टि गरेदेखि जे मैले गोप्य राखेको छु त्यो सिकाउन म दृष्टान्तहरू भन्ने छु।” BSB BSB: So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: “I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world.”
36 UDB येशूले भीडलाई टाढा पठाएपछि, उहाँ घरमा जानुभयो। तब चेलाहरू उहाँको नजीक गए र भने, “हामीलाई गहुँको खेतमा बढेको सामाको दृष्टान्त बुझाई दिनुहोस्।” BSB BSB: Then Jesus dismissed the crowds and went into the house. His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
37 UDB उहाँले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “असल बीउ छर्ने मानिसले म, मानिसको पुत्रको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छ। BSB BSB: He replied, “The One who sows the good seed is the Son of Man.
38 UDB खेतले यस संसारको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छ, जहाँ मानिसहरू बस्छन्। रामोसँग बढेका बीउले परमेश्वरले राज्य गर्नुहुने मानिसहरूको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छ। सामाहरूले ती मानिसहरूको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छन् जसले दुष्ट शैतानले तिनीहरूलाई गर्न भनेका काम गर्छन्। BSB BSB: The field is the world, and the good seed represents the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one,
39 UDB सामाको बीउ छर्ने शत्रुले शैतानको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छ। बाली काट्नेहरूको अन्न जम्मा गर्ने समयले संसारको अन्तको समयलाई प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छ। बाली काट्नेहरूले स्वर्गदूतहरूको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छन्। BSB BSB: and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
40 UDB सामाहरू जम्मा पारिन्छ र जलाइन्छ। त्यसले संसारको अन्त्य हुने समयमा, परमेश्वरले सबै मानिसहरूको न्याय गर्नुहुँदा, के हुने छ भन्ने कुराको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छ। यो यस्तो हुने छः BSB BSB: As the weeds are collected and burned in the fire, so will it be at the end of the age.
41 UDB म, मानिसको पुत्रले, आफ्ना स्वर्गदूतहरूलाई पठाउँने छु, र मैले राज्य गर्दै गरेका सबै कुराहरूबाट अरूहरूलाई पाप गर्न लगाउनेहरू र परमेश्वरको इच्छा उलङ्घन गर्नेहरू सबैलाई तिनीहरूले जम्मा गर्ने छन्। BSB BSB: The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom every cause of sin and all who practice lawlessness.
42 UDB स्वर्गदूतहरूले ती मानिसहरूलाई नरकको आगोमा फाल्ने छन्। ती मानिसहरू भोग्दै गरेका असह्य पीडाको कारणले त्यहाँ तिनीहरू रुने छन् र आफ्ना दाह्रा किट्ने छन्। BSB BSB: And they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 UDB यद्यपि, उहाँको इच्छा अनुसार जीवन बिताएका मानिसहरू सूर्यझैं चम्कने छन्। तिनीहरू चम्कने छ, किनभने तिनीहरूकाो परमेश्वर पिताले तिनीहरूमाथि राज गर्नुहुने छ। तिमीहरूले यो कुरा बुझ्न सक्छौ भने, मैले भर्खरै भनेका कुरालाई तिमीहरूले होसियार भएर विचार गर्नुपर्छ।” BSB BSB: Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
44 UDB “परमेश्वरले स्वर्गबाट गर्नुहुने राज्य यति मूल्यवान हुन्छ, यो एकजना मानिस जस्तो हो जसले अर्को व्यक्तिले खेतमा गाडी राखेको ठूलो धनराशी भट्टायो। यो मानिसले खनेर त्यो भेट्टाएपछि, उसले त्यसलाई फेरि गाड्यो, जसले गर्दा कसैले त्यो भेट्टाउने छैनन्। तब ऊ गयो र त्यो खेत किन्नलाई पैसा जम्मा गर्न आफ्ना सबै धनदौलतहरू बेच्यो। त्यसपछि ऊ गयो र त्यो खेत किन्यो, र यसरी उसले त्यो धनराशी प्राप्त गर्यो। BSB BSB: The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and in his joy he went and sold all he had and bought that field.
45 UDB परमेश्वरले स्वर्गबाट गर्नुहुने राज्य यति मूल्यवान हुन्छ, यो व्यापारीले गरे जस्तो हो जसले असल गुणस्तरको मोतिहरू किन्न खोज्दै थियो। BSB BSB: Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls.
46 UDB जब उसले बेच्न राखेको एउटा अत्यन्त बहुमूल्य मोति भेट्टायो, त्यो मोति किन्न पैसा जम्मा गर्नलाई उसले आफ्ना सारा धनदौलत बेच्यो। अनि ऊ गयो र त्यो किन्यो। BSB BSB: When he found one very precious pearl, he went away and sold all he had and bought it.
47 UDB जब परमेश्वरले स्वर्गबाट राज्य गर्नुहुन्छ, यो कोही मछुवाहरूले आफूले एउटा ठूलो तलाउमा एउटा ठूलो जाल हानेर समातेका माछाहरूलाई गरेको जस्तै गरे। तिनीहरूले काम लाग्ने र काम नलाग्ने दुबै गरी सबै किसिमका माछाहरू पक्रे। BSB BSB: Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was cast into the sea and caught all kinds of fish.
48 UDB जब जाल भरियो, मछुवाहरूले त्यसलाई किनारमा ताने। त्यसपछि तिनीहरू त्यहाँ बसे र असल माछाहरू बाल्टीहरूमा हाले, तर तिनीहरूले काम नलाग्ने चाहीं टाढा फाले। BSB BSB: When it was full, the men pulled it ashore. Then they sat down and sorted the good fish into containers, but threw the bad away.
49 UDB यो यस्तो हो जुन संसारको अन्त्य हुँदा मानिसहरूलाई हुने छ। परमेश्वरले मानिसहरूको न्याय गर्दै हुनुभएको ठाउँमा स्वर्गदूतहरू आउने छन् र धर्मीहरूबाट दुष्ट मानिसहरूलाई अलग गर्ने छन्। BSB BSB: So will it be at the end of the age: The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous
50 UDB तिनीहरू दुष्ट मानिसहरूलाई नरकको आगोमा फाल्ने छन्। अनि ती दुष्ट मानिसहरूले भोगिरहेका अत्यन्त असह्य पीडाको कारणले तिनीहरूले रुने छन् र आफ्ना दाह्रा किट्ने छन्।” BSB BSB: and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
51 UDB तब येशूले चेलाहरूलाई सोध्नुभयो, “मैले तिमीहरूलाई भनेका यी सबै दृष्टान्तहरू तिमीहरूले बुझ्छौ?” तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “हो, हामीले ती बुझ्यौं।” BSB BSB: Have you understood all these things?” “Yes,” they answered.
52 UDB त्यसपछि उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “यी दृष्टान्तहरू बुझ्ने र परमेश्वरले स्वर्गबाट राज्य गर्नुहुँदा त्यस अनुरूप काम गर्ने शिक्षकहरू र व्याख्याताहरू एकजना घर मालिक जस्तो हो जसले आफ्नो धनसारबाट नयाँ कुराहरू र पुराना कुराहरू दुबै निकाल्छ।” BSB BSB: Then He told them, “For this reason, every scribe who has been discipled in the kingdom of heaven is like a homeowner who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”
53 UDB जब येशूले यी दृष्टान्तहरू भनेर सक्नुभयो, उहाँले चेलाहरूलाई लिनुभयो र त्यो इलाका छोड्नुभयो। BSB BSB: When Jesus had finished these parables, He withdrew from that place.

57 UDB येशूसँग त्यस्तो अधिकार भएको कुरालाई त्यहाँ भएका मानिसहरूले स्वीकार गरेनन्। यसैले येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “मलाई र अरू अगमवक्ताहरूलाई हामी जाने हरेक ठाउँमा मानिसहरूले आदर गर्छन्, तर हाम्रा आफ्ना नगरहरूमा हाम्रो आदर हुँदैन, र हाम्रो आफ्नै परिवारहरूले पनि हाम्रो आदर गर्दैनन्!” BSB BSB: And they took offense at Him.
