4 UDB येशूले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “म तिमीहरूलाई यत्ति भन्नेछु, निश्चत होओ कि के हुनेछ भन्ने बारेमा कसैले तिमीलाई छल नगरोस्!” BSB BSB: Jesus answered, “See to it that no one deceives you.
5 UDB धेरैजना मानिसहरू आउनेछन् र तिनीहरू म नै हुँ भन्नेछन्। हो, तिनीहरूले वास्तवमै भन्नेछन्, “ख्रीष्ट म नै हुँ,’ र तिनीहरूले धेरै मानिसहरूलाई छल गर्नेछन्। BSB BSB: For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
7 UDB मानिसहरूको समूहले एकअर्कामाथि आक्रमण गर्नेछन्, र राजाहरूले एकअर्काको विरुद्धमा सिपाहीहरूको नेतृत्व गर्नेछन्। धेरै ठाउँहरूमा अनिकालहरू र भूकम्पहरू हुनेछन्। BSB BSB: Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 UDB पहिले यिनै कुराहरू हुनेहुन्, तर शिशु जन्माउनअघि प्रस्रव पीडामा परेकी एकजना स्त्रीको जस्तै तिनीहरू हुनेछ। BSB BSB: All these are the beginning of birth pains.
9 UDB झन् धेरै खराब कुराहरू हुनेछन्। तिमीहरूको विरोध गर्ने मानसिहरूले तिमीहरूलाई यातना दिन र मार्नलाई लैजानेछन्। सबै मानिसहरूका समूहमा बसोबास गर्ने मानिसहरूको समूहले तिमीहरूलाई घृणा गर्नेछन् किनभने तिमीहरू मलाई विश्वास गर्छौ। BSB BSB: Then they will deliver you over to be persecuted and killed, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.
10 UDB अझै, तिनीहरूले पाएको सातवटको कारणले धेरै मानिसहरूले विश्वास छोड्नेछन्। तिनीहरूले आफ्नै विश्वासी मित्रलाई धोका दिनेछन्, र एक अर्कालाई घृणा गर्नेछन्। BSB BSB: At that time many will fall away and will betray and hate one another,
11 UDB धेरैजना आफैंलाई अगमवक्ताहरू हुन् भन्दै आउनेछन्, तर तिनीहरू झुटो बोल्नेछन्, र तिनीहरूले धेरै मानिसलाई छल गर्नेछन्। BSB BSB: and many false prophets will arise and deceive many.
12 UDB धेरैभन्दा धेरै मानिसहरूले परमेश्वरको व्यवस्थालाई उल्लङ्घन गर्ने हुनाले, धेरैजना विश्वासीहरूले एकअर्कालाई प्रेम गर्ने छैनन्। BSB BSB: Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.
13 UDB तर आफ्नो जीवनको अन्तसम्म विश्वास गरिरहनेहरू सबैलाई परमेश्वरले बचाउनुहुनेछ। BSB BSB: But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
14 UDB अझैधेरै, कसरी परमेश्वरले संसारको हरेक भागमा राज्य गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ भन्ने बारेमा, सबै मानव समूहहरूलाई घोषणा गर्ने उदेश्यले, विश्वासीहरूले सुसमाचार प्रचार गर्नेछन्। त्यसपछि संसारको अन्त आउनेछ।” BSB BSB: And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
16 UDB जब तिमीहरूले मन्दिरमा त्यो भएको देख्नेछौ, तिमीहरूमध्ये जो यहूदिया क्षेत्रमा हुनेहरू उच्च पहाडहरूतिर भाग्नुपर्छ! BSB BSB: then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17 UDB आफ्ना घरहरूबाहिर हुनेहरू आफू भग्नुअघि चीजबीजहरू लिनलाई फर्केर आफ्नो घरहरूभित्र जानुहुँदैन। BSB BSB: Let no one on the housetop come down to retrieve anything from his house.
18 UDB आफ्ना खेतबारीमा काम गर्नेहरू आफू भग्नुअघि आफ्नो बाहिरी वस्त्र लिनलाई फर्कनुहुँदैन। BSB BSB: And let no one in the field return for his cloak.
19 UDB त्यो समयमा गर्भवती महिलाहरू र आफ्ना शिशुहरूलाईो स्तनपान गराउने महिलाहरूको लागि कति भयानक हुनेछ, किनभने तिनीहरूलाई भाग्नलाई अत्यन्तै कठिन हुनेछ! BSB BSB: How miserable those days will be for pregnant and nursing mothers!
20 UDB तिमीहरू जाडो मौसममा भग्न नपरोस् जतिबेला यात्रा गर्न कठिन हुनेछ, वा शवाथ-दिन, विश्राम-दिन नपरोस् भनेर प्रार्थना गर; BSB BSB: Pray that your flight will not occur in the winter or on the Sabbath.
21 UDB किनभने यी कुराहरू हुँदा, मानिसहरूलाई असाध्यै दुःख हुनेछ। परमेश्वरले संसारको सृष्टि गर्नुभएको समयदेखि अहिलेसम्म मानिसहरूले त्यस्तो असह्य दुःख कदापि भोगेका छैनन् र कसैले पनि फेरि त्यस्तो दुःख कदापि भोग्नुपर्ने छैनन्। BSB BSB: For at that time there will be great tribulation, unseen from the beginning of the world until now, and never to be seen again.
22 UDB जतिबेला मानिसहरू अत्यन्तै कष्ट भोग्नेछन्, परमेश्वरले त्यो समयलाई छोटो पार्ने निर्णय गर्नुभएको थिएन भने, हरेक व्यक्ति मर्ने थिए। तर उहाँले त्यसलाई छोटो पार्ने निर्णय गर्नुभएको छ, किनभने उहाँले चुन्नु भएका मानसिहरूको उहाँले ख्याल गर्नुहुन्छ।” BSB BSB: If those days had not been cut short, nobody would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.
23 UDB त्यो समयमा, कसैले तिमीहरूलाई भन्छ, ‘हेर, ख्रीष्ट यहाँ छन्!’ वा कसैले भन्छ, ‘ख्रीष्ट त्यहाँ छन्!’ त्यसलाई विश्वास नगर। BSB BSB: At that time, if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There He is!’ do not believe it.
24 UDB मानिसहरूलाई झुक्याउनका लागि तिनीहरूले धेरै किसिमकाे आश्चर्यका कामहरू र अचम्मका कुराहरू गर्नेछन्। परमेश्वरले चुन्नुभएका तिमीहरू जस्ता मानिसहरूलाई पनि तिनीहरूले झुक्याउने कोसिस गर्नेछन्। BSB BSB: For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.
25 UDB यो कुरा नबिर्स कि मैले तिमीहरूलाई यी हुनुभन्दा अघि नै यी सबै कुराको बारेमा चेतावनीका दिएको छु। BSB BSB: See, I have told you in advance.
26 UDB यसैले कसैले तिमीलाई यसो भन्छ भने, ‘हेर, ख्रीष्ट उजाड-स्थानमा हुनुहुन्छ!’ त्यहाँ नजाओ। यसरी नै कसैले तिमीलाई भन्छ भने, ‘हेर, उहाँ एउटा गुप्त कोठामा हुनुहुन्छ!’ त्यस व्यक्तिलाई विश्वास नगर, BSB BSB: So if they tell you, ‘There He is, in the wilderness,’ do not go out, or, ‘Here He is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.
27 UDB किनभने जसरी पूर्वबाट पश्चिमसम्म बिजुली चम्कन्छ र मानिसहरूले त्यो देख्छन्, त्यसरी नै, जब मानिसको पुत्र फेरि आउनेछ, हरेक देख्नेछ। BSB BSB: For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
28 UDB जसरी गिद्धहरू जम्मा भएको ठाउँमा एउटा जनावरको सिनो हुन्छ भनी तिमीहरू जान्दछौ त्यसरी नै त्यो कुरा हरेकलाई स्पस्ट हुनेछ।” BSB BSB: Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.
29 UDB “त्यो समयमा मानिसहरूले कष्ट भोग्ने बित्तिकै, सुर्य अन्धकार हुनेछ। चन्द्रमाले चमक दिनेछैन। ताराहरू आकाशबाट खस्नेछन्। र आकाशलाई भएका सबै कुराहरूले आफ्नो ठाउँ छोडून् भनेर परमेश्वरले हल्लाउनुहुनेछ। BSB BSB: Immediately after the tribulation of those days: ‘The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’
30 UDB त्यसपछि, मानिसको पुत्र आकाशमा देखापरेको हरेकले देख्नेछ। तब पृथ्वीमा भएका सबै मानिसहरूको समूहका अविस्वासी मानिसहरूले विलाप गर्नेछन् किनभने तिनीहरू डराउनेछन्। म, मानिसको पुत्र शक्ति र ठूलो महिमामा बदलहरूमा आउँदै गरेको तिनीहरूले मलाई देख्नेछन्। BSB BSB: At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 UDB उनले आकाशको हरेक कुनाबाट आफ्ना स्वर्गदूतहरूलाई पृथ्वीमा पठाउनेछन्। जब तिनीहरूले तुरहीको चर्को स्वोर सुन्नेछन्, परमेश्वरले चुन्नुभएका-- उहाँका मानिसहरूलाई सम्पूर्ण पृथ्वीबाट-- तिनीहरूले एकसाथ जम्मा गर्नेछन्।” BSB BSB: And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
33 UDB यसरी नै, जब तिमीहरूले यी सबै कुराहरू हुँदै गरेको देख्नेछौ, तिमीहरू जन्नेछौ कि उनको पुनःआगमनको समय एकदमै नजिकै छ। BSB BSB: So also, when you see all these things, you will know that He is near, right at the door.
38 UDB पुरुषहरूले विवाह गर्दै थिए, र बुबाआमाले आफ्ना छोरीहरूको विवाह पुरुषहरूसित गरिदिंदै थिए। BSB BSB: For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.
39 UDB नोआ र तिनको परिवार एउटा ठूलो डुंगाभित्र पस्ने दिनसम्म नै तिनीहरू यो सब गर्दै थिए। र त्यसपछि जलप्रलय आयो र डुंगामा नभएका सबैलाई डुबाइदियो। त्यसरी नै, अविश्वासी मानिसहरूले मानिसको पुत्र कहिले फर्केर आउनेछ थाहा पउनेछैनन्। BSB BSB: And they were oblivious until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40 UDB जब त्यो हुन्छ, सबै मानिसलाई स्वर्गमा लगिनेछैन। उदाहरणको लागि, दुईजना खेतबारीमा हुनेछन्। तिनीहरूमध्ये एकजना स्वर्गमा लगिनेछ र अर्कोचाहिं दण्डको लागि यहाँ छोडिनेछ। BSB BSB: Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
41 UDB त्यसरी नै, दुई महिलाहरू जाँतोमा अन्न पिंधिरहेका हुनेछन्। तिनीहरूमध्ये एकजना स्वर्गमा लगिनेछ र अर्कोचाहिं छोडिनेछ। BSB BSB: Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
43 UDB तिमीलाई थाहा छ कि घरको मालिकले रातको कुन समयमा चोरहरू आउँछन् भनेर थाहा पाएको भए, तिनी जागा रहन्थे र चोरहरूलाई भित्र आउनबाट रोक्ने थिए। त्यसरी नै मानिसको पुत्र एउटा चोरझैं अचानक आउनेछन्। BSB BSB: But understand this: If the homeowner had known in which watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44 UDB यसैले तिमीहरू तयार रहनु आवश्यक छ किनभने मानिसको पुत्र पृथ्वीमा तिमीहरूले उनी आउने आशा नगरेको समयमा पर्केर आउनेछन्।” BSB BSB: For this reason, you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour you do not expect.
45 UDB “हरेक विश्वासयोग्य र बुद्धिमान नोकर कस्तो हुन्छ भन्ने बारेमा विचार गर। घरको मालिकले एकजना सेवकलाई अरू सेवकहरूको निरीक्षण गर्नलाई नियुक्ति गर्छ। तिनीहरूलाई ठिक समयहरूमा खान दिनलाई तिनले उसलाई भन्छन्। त्यसपछि तिनी एउटा लामो यात्रामा जान्छन्। BSB BSB: Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of his household, to give the others their food at the proper time?
46 UDB घरको मालिक फर्कंदा त्यस सेवकले त्यो काम गर्दै गरेको हुन्छ भने, घरका मालिक उससँग धेरै खुशी हुनेछन्। BSB BSB: Blessed is that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns.
47 UDB यो कुरा विचार गरः घरका मालिकले त्यो सेवकलाई तिनका आफ्ना सारा धनदौलतमाथि निरीक्षक बनाउनेछन्। BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.
48 UDB तर दुष्ट सेवकले मनमनै यसो भन्न सक्छ, ‘मालिक लामो समयको लागि बाहिर गएका छन्, यसैले तिनी सायद चाँडै नै पर्केर आउनेछैनन् र म जे गर्दैछु, त्यो भेट्टाउने छैनन्।’ BSB BSB: But suppose that servant is wicked and says in his heart, ‘My master will be away a long time.’
49 UDB यसैले उसले अरू सेवकहरूलाई कुट्न सुरु गर्नेछ र मदिरा सेवन गरेकाहरूसँगै खान र पिउन थाल्नेछ। BSB BSB: And he begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.
50 UDB त्यसपछि त्यो सेवकले आशा नगरेको समयमा घरको मालिक फर्केर आउनेछन्। BSB BSB: The master of that servant will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not anticipate.
51 UDB तिनले त्यो सेवकलाई असह्य दण्ड दिनेछन् र तिनले त्यसलाई कपटीहरू राखेको स्थानमा राख्नेछ। त्यो ठाउँमा मानिसहरू रुन्छन् र आफ्ना दाह्रा किट्छन् किनभने तिनीहरूले धेरै पीडा भोग्नेछन्।” BSB BSB: Then he will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
