3 UDB त्यसपछि परमेश्वरका आत्माले मलाई नियन्त्रणमा गर्नुभयो र स्वर्गदूतले मलाई एउटा निर्जन इलाकामा बोकेर लगे। त्यहाँ मैले एउटा रातो पशुमाथि बसेकी एक जना स्त्रीलाई देखें। त्यो पशुले आफ्नो जीउभरि नाउँहरू लेखेको थियो। ती परमेश्वरलाई अपमान गर्ने नाउँहरू थिए। उक्त पशुका सातवटा शिर र दशवटा सीङ थिए। BSB BSB: And the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness, where I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.
4 UDB त्यो स्त्रीले बैजनी र रातो वस्त्र लगाएकी थिई। सुन, बहुमूल्य रत्नहरू तथा मोतीहरूले बनेका गहना त्यसले लगाएकी थिई। त्यसले आफ्नो हातमा एउटा सुनको कचौरा बोकेकी थिई। कचौरामा पिउनलाई केही कुराले भरिएको थियो जुन कुराले त्यसले यौनको अनैतिक काम गर्दा त्यसले गर्ने घिनलाग्दा र फोहर कुराहरूलाई जनाउँछ। BSB BSB: The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls. She held in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality.

And those who dwell on the earth whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet will be.
9 UDB यो कुरा बुझ्न मानिसहरूले बुद्धिमान भएर विचार गर्नुपर्छ: त्यो स्त्री सवार पशुका सात शिरले त्यो सहरका सात पहाडलाई जनाउँछ जसलाई त्यो स्त्रीले प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छे। ती सात शासकका प्रतीकहरू पनि हुन्। BSB BSB: This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

11 UDB जुन पशु पहिले बाँचेको थियो र त्यसपछि बाँचेको थिएन त्योचाहिं आठौं शासक हुनेछ। ऊ वास्तवमा सात शासकमध्ये एक हो तर परमेश्वरले निश्चय पनि त्यसलाई नाश गर्नुहुनेछ। BSB BSB: The beast that was, and now is not, is an eighth king, who belongs to the other seven and is going into destruction.

15 UDB त्यसपछि ती स्वर्गदूतले मलाई भने, “तिमीले त्यो सहरमा देखेको पानीहरूले, जहाँ त्यो वेश्या बस्छे, धेरै जना विभिन्न किसिमका मानिसहरू र धेरै विभिन्न समूहका मानिसहरू र धेरै विभिन्न भाषाका मानिसहरूको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छन्। BSB BSB: Then the angel said to me, “The waters you saw, where the prostitute was seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.
16 UDB तिमीले देखेको दशवटा सीङले शासकहरूको प्रतिनिधित्व गर्छन्। तिनीहरू र त्यो पशुले त्यो वेश्यालाई घृणा गर्नेछन्। यसरी तिनीहरूले त्यो सहरलाई नाङ्गै पारेर छोडेझैं गरी तिनीहरूले त्यसमा भएका हरेक कुरा लानेछन्। मासुलाई काच्चै खाएझैं गरी तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई नाश गर्नेछन् र तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई पूर्ण रूपले जलाउनेछन्। BSB BSB: And the ten horns and the beast that you saw will hate the prostitute. They will leave her desolate and naked, and they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
