1तब मोशा र इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको निम्ति यो गीत गाए । तिनीहरूले भने, “म परमप्रभुको निम्ति गाउनेछु किनकि उहाँले महिमामा विजय हासिल गर्नुभएको छ । घोडा र यसको सवारलाई उहाँले समुद्रमा फालिदिनुभएको छ ।Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD: “I will sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted. The horse and rider He has thrown into the sea.

2परमप्रभु मेरो शक्ति र गीत हुनुहुन्छ, र उहाँ मेरा उद्धार हुनुभएको छ । उहाँ मेरा परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ, र म उहाँको प्रशंसा गर्नेछु । उहाँ मेरा पिता-पुर्खाका परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ र म उहाँलाई उचाल्छु ।The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

3परमप्रभु मेरा योद्धा हुनुहुन्छ, उहाँको नाउँ परमप्रभु हो ।The LORD is a warrior, the LORD is His name.

4उहाँले फारोका रथहरू र सेनालाई समुद्रमा फालिदिनुभएको छ । फारोका छानिएका अधिकृतहरू लाल समुद्रमा डुबे ।Pharaoh’s chariots and army He has cast into the sea; the finest of his officers are drowned in the Red Sea.

5गहिराइले तिनीहरूलाई छोप्यो । तिनीहरू पत्थरजस्तै गहिराइमा डुबे ।The depths have covered them; they sank there like a stone.

6हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको दाहिने बाहुली शक्तिमा महिमित छ । हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको दाहिने बाहुलीले शत्रुलाई चकनाचुर पारिदिएको छ ।Your right hand, O LORD, is majestic in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has shattered the enemy.

7महान् गौरवमा तपाईंले तपाईंको विरुद्धमा उठ्नेहरूलाई तल झारिदिनुभयो । तपाईंले आफ्नो क्रोध पठाउनुभयो । यसले तिनीहरूलाई ठोसालाई झैँ भस्म पार्यो ।You overthrew Your adversaries by Your great majesty. You unleashed Your burning wrath; it consumed them like stubble.

8तपाईंको नाकको सासले पानीको थुप्रो लाग्यो । बगिरहेको पानी स्थिर भई उभियो । गहिरो पानी समुद्रको मुटुमा जम्यो ।At the blast of Your nostrils the waters piled up; like a wall the currents stood firm; the depths congealed in the heart of the sea.

9शत्रुले भन्यो, 'म पिछा गर्नेछु; म जित्नेछु; म लुटका मालहरू बाँड्नेछु । मेरो इच्छा तिनमा तृप्त हुनेछ । म मेरो तरवार थुत्नेछु । मेरा हातले तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट पार्नेछन् ।'The enemy declared, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake. I will divide the spoils; I will gorge myself on them. I will draw my sword; my hand will destroy them.’

10तर तपाईंले आफ्नो बतास चलाइदिनुभयो, र समुद्रले तिनलाई ढाक्यो । तिनीहरू उर्लंदो भेलमा सिसाजस्तै डुबे ।But You blew with Your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.

11हे परमप्रभु, देवहरूका बिचमा तपाईंजस्तो को छ र? पवित्रतामा तपाईं वैभवशाली, प्रशंसामा आदरणीय, आश्चर्यकर्म गर्नुहुने तपाईंजस्तै को छ र?Who among the gods is like You, O LORD? Who is like You—majestic in holiness, revered with praises, performing wonders?

12तपाईंले आफ्नो दाहिले बाहुली पसार्नुभयो, र पृथ्वीले तिनीहरूलाई निल्यो ।You stretched out Your right hand, and the earth swallowed them up.

13तपाईंको करारको बफादारीमा तपाईंले आफूले छुटकारा दिनुभएका मानिसहरूलाई डोर्याउनुभएको छ । तपाईंको शक्तिमा तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई तपाईंको पवित्र वासस्थानमा डोर्याउनुभएको छ ।With loving devotion You will lead the people You have redeemed; with Your strength You will guide them to Your holy dwelling.

14जाति-जातिहरूले सुन्नेछन्, र तिनीहरू थरथर काँप्नेछन् । त्रासले पलिश्तीहरूका बासिन्दाहरूलाई पक्रनेछ ।The nations will hear and tremble; anguish will grip the dwellers of Philistia.

15तब एदोमका मुखियाहरू डराउनेछन् । मोआबका सिपाहीहरू हल्लिनेछन् । कनानका सबै बासिन्दा पग्लनेछन् ।Then the chiefs of Edom will be dismayed; trembling will seize the leaders of Moab; those who dwell in Canaan will melt away,

16आतङ्क र त्रास उनीहरूमाथि पर्नेछन् । हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंका मानिसहरू पार नहोउञ्जेल र तपाईंले छुटकारा दिनुभएका मानिसहरू पार नहोउञ्जेल तपाईंको पाखुराको शक्तिको कारणले तिनीहरू पत्थरझैँ अचल रहनेछन् ।and terror and dread will fall on them. By the power of Your arm they will be as still as a stone until Your people pass by, O LORD, until the people You have bought pass by.

17तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई ल्याउनुहुनेछ, र तिनीहरूलाई तपाईंको उत्तराधिकारको पर्वतमा रोप्नुहुनेछ । हे परमप्रभु, यो त्यो ठाउँ हो जहाँ तपाईंले आफ्नो बासस्थान बनाउनुभयो, हे हाम्रा प्रभु जुन पवित्रस्थानलाई तपाईंका हातले बनाएका छन् ।You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of Your inheritance—the place, O LORD, You have prepared for Your dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, Your hands have established.

18परमप्रभुले सदासर्वदा शासन गर्नुहुनेछ ।”The LORD will reign forever and ever!”

19किनकि फारोका घोडाहरू तिनीहरूका रथहरू र घोडचढीहरूसँगै समुद्रमा पुगे । परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूमाथि फेरि समुद्रको पानी फर्काएर ल्याउनुभयो । तर इस्राएलीहरू समुद्रको बिचमा ओबानो भूमिबाट हिँडेर गए ।For when Pharaoh’s horses, chariots, and horsemen went into the sea, the LORD brought the waters of the sea back over them. But the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground.

20हारूनकी दिदी अगमवादिनी मिरियमले खैँजडी लिइन्, र सबै स्त्रीले पनि खैँजडी लिँदै उनीसँगै नाचे ।Then Miriam the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine in her hand, and all the women followed her with tambourines and dancing.

21मिरियमले तिनीहरूका निम्ति गाइन्, “परमप्रभुको निम्ति गाओ किनकि उहाँले महिमामा विजय हासिल गर्नुभएको छ । घोडा र यसको सवारलाई उहाँले समुद्रमा फालिदिनुभएको छ ।”And Miriam sang back to them: “Sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted; the horse and rider He has thrown into the sea.”

22तब मोशाले इस्राएललाई लाल समुद्रबाट अगाडि लगे । तिनीहरू शूरको उजाड-स्थानमा लागे । तिन दिनसम्म तिनीहरूले उजाड-स्थानमा यात्रा गरे र पानी पाएनन्Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the Desert of Shur. For three days they walked in the desert without finding water.

23। त्यसपछि तिनीहरू मारा भन्ने ठाउँमा आइपुगे, तर त्यहाँको पानी तितो भएकोले तिनीहरूले पिउन सकेनन् । त्यसैले तिनीहरूले त्यस ठाउँको नाउँ मारा राखे ।And when they came to Marah, they could not drink the water there because it was bitter. (That is why it was named Marah.)

24त्यसकारण मानिसहरूले “हामीले के पिउने?” भनी मोशालाई गनगन गरे ।So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, “What are we to drink?”

25मोशाले परमप्रभुलाई पुकारा गरे, र उहाँले तिनलाई एउटा बिरुवा देखाइदिनुभयो । मोशाले त्यसलाई पानीमा हाल्दा पानी पिउनलाई मिठो भयो । त्यहीँ नै परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई कडा विधि दिनुभयो, त्यहाँ नै उहाँले तिनीहरूको जाँच गर्नुभयो ।And Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a log. And when he cast it into the waters, they were sweetened. There the LORD made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He tested them,

26उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूले तिमीहरूका परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको आवाजलाई होसियारीपूर्वक सुन्यौ, र उहाँको दृष्टिमा जे ठिक छ त्यही गर्यौ, र तिमीहरूले उहाँका आज्ञाहरूमा ध्यान दियौ र उहाँका विधिहरू पालन गर्यौ भने मैले मिश्रीहरूमाथि ल्याएको कुनै पनि विपत्ति तिमीहरूमाथि ल्याउनेछैनँ किनकि म चङ्गाइ गर्ने परमेश्वर हुँ ।”saying, “If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His eyes, and pay attention to His commands, and keep all His statutes, then I will not bring on you any of the diseases I inflicted on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”

27तब मानिसहरू एलीममा आइपुगे जहाँ पानीका बार्हवटा मुल र सत्तरीवटा खजुरका रुख थिए । तिनीहरूले पानी नजिकै पाल टाँगे ।Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they camped there by the waters.
