1. 1NPIULBकसैको बारेमा झुटा गवाही नदेओ । बेइमानी गवाही दिने दुष्ट मानिससित नमिल ।BSBBSB: “You shall not spread a false report. Do not join the wicked by being a malicious witness.
2. 2NPIULBखराबी गर्न भिडको पछि नलाग, न त न्यायलाई बङ्ग्याउन भिडको पक्ष लेओ ।BSBBSB: You shall not follow the crowd in wrongdoing. When you testify in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd.
3. 3NPIULBगरिब मानिसको मुद्दामा उसको पक्षपात नगर ।BSBBSB: And do not show favoritism to a poor man in his lawsuit.
4. 4NPIULBआफ्नो शत्रुको गोरु वा गधा बिच्केर जाँदै गरेको देख्यौ भने त्यसलाई फर्काएर त्यसकहाँ ल्याइदेओ ।BSBBSB: If you encounter your enemy’s stray ox or donkey, you must return it to him.
5. 5NPIULBतिमीहरूलाई घृणा गर्ने कुनै व्यक्तिको गधा भारीले थिचिएर भुइँमा लडेको देख्यौ भने त्यसलाई त्यत्तिकै नछोड । गधासँगै मदत गर ।BSBBSB: If you see the donkey of one who hates you fallen under its load, do not leave it there; you must help him with it.
6. 6NPIULBमुद्दा मामिलामा गरिबहरूको न्याय हरण नगर ।BSBBSB: You shall not deny justice to the poor in their lawsuits.
7. 7NPIULBझुटा गवाही दिन अरूहरूसित नमिल, र निर्दोष वा धर्मीहरूलाई नमार किनकि म दुष्टहरूलाई कहिल्यै निर्दोष ठहराउनेछैनँ ।BSBBSB: Stay far away from a false accusation. Do not kill the innocent or the just, for I will not acquit the guilty.
8. 8NPIULBकहिल्यै घुस नलेओ किनकि घुसले देख्नेहरूलाई अन्धो तुल्याइदिन्छ र इमानदार मानिसहरूका वचनलाई बङ्ग्याइदिन्छ ।BSBBSB: Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds those who see and twists the words of the righteous.
9. 9NPIULBपरदेशीलाई थिचोमिचो नगर किनकि तिमीहरू मिश्र देशमा परदेशी भएर बाँचेकाले परदेशीको जीवन कस्तो हुन्छ भनी तिमीहरू जान्दछौ ।BSBBSB: Do not oppress a foreign resident, since you yourselves know how it feels to be foreigners; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
10. 10NPIULBछ वर्षसम्म तिमीहरूले आ-आफ्ना जमिनमा बिउ रोपी फसल जम्मा गर ।BSBBSB: For six years you are to sow your land and gather its produce,
11. 11NPIULBतर सातौँ वर्षमा चाहिँ हलो नजोती त्यसलाई बाँझै छाडिदेओ ताकि तिमीहरूका बिचमा भएका गरिब मानिसहरूले खान सकून् । तिनीहरूले छाडेका जङ्गली जनावरहरूले खानेछन् । तिमीहरूका दाखबारी र भद्राक्षबारीलाई पनि त्यसै गर ।BSBBSB: but in the seventh year you must let it rest and lie fallow, so that the poor among your people may eat from the field and the wild animals may consume what they leave. Do the same with your vineyard and olive grove.
12. 12NPIULBछ दिनसम्म आफ्नो काम गर, तर सातौँ दिनमा चाहिँ विश्राम गर । तिमीहरूका गोरु र गधाले पनि विश्राम पाउन सकून् भनेर यसो गर अनि तिमीहरूका कमारीको छोरो र परदेशीले पनि ताजा महसुस गर्न सकून् भनेर यस गर ।BSBBSB: For six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you must cease, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the son of your maidservant may be refreshed, as well as the foreign resident.
13. 13NPIULBमैले तिमीहरूलाई भनेका हरेक कुरामा ध्यान देओ । अरू देवी-देवताहरूको चर्चा नगर, न त तिमीहरूका मुखबाट तिनीहरूको नाउँ नै सुनियोस् ।BSBBSB: Pay close attention to everything I have said to you. You must not invoke the names of other gods; they must not be heard on your lips.
14. 14NPIULBमेरो निम्ति चाड मान्न हरेक वर्ष तिन पटक यात्रा गर ।BSBBSB: Three times a year you are to celebrate a feast to Me.
15. 15NPIULBतिमीहरूले अखमिरी रोटीको चाड मान्नू । मैले आज्ञा गरेझैँ तिमीहरूले सात दिनसम्म अखमिरी रोटी खानू । त्यस बेला तिमीहरू आबीब महिनामा मेरो सामु देखा पर्नू जुन यही उद्देश्यको लागि तयार पारिएको हो । तिमीहरू यही महिनामा मिश्रबाट बाहिर निस्केर आयौ । तर तिमीहरू खाली हात मेरो सामु देखा नपर्नू ।BSBBSB: You are to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread as I commanded you: At the appointed time in the month of Abib you are to eat unleavened bread for seven days, because that was the month you came out of Egypt. No one may appear before Me empty-handed.
16. 16NPIULBतिमीहरूले आफ्ना खेतहरूमा बिउ छर्दा तिमीहरूको परिश्रमको अगौटे फलको सम्झनामा कटनीको चाड मान्नू । खेतहरूबाट तिमीहरूले अन्न बटुल्दा वर्षको अन्त्यमा तिमीहरूले अन्न भित्र्याउने चाड मनाओ ।BSBBSB: You are also to keep the Feast of Harvest with the firstfruits of the produce from what you sow in the field. And keep the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather your produce from the field.
17. 17NPIULBतिमीहरूका सबै पुरुष हरेक वर्ष तिन पटक परमप्रभुको सामु देखा पर्नू ।BSBBSB: Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord GOD.
18. 18NPIULBमलाई चढाउने बलिको रगत खमिर हालेको रोटीसितै नचढाओ । मेरा चाडहरूमा चढाइने बलिदानहरूको बोसो रातभरि रहेर बिहानसम्म रहनुहुँदैन ।BSBBSB: You must not offer the blood of My sacrifices with anything leavened, nor may the fat of My feast remain until morning.
19. 19NPIULBतिमीहरूले मेरो घर अर्थात् परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरको घरमा अगौटे फलहरूमध्ये सबैभन्दा असलचाहिँ ल्याउनू । बाख्राको पाठो त्यसको माउको दूधमा नपकाओ ।BSBBSB: Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the LORD your God. You must not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.
20. 20NPIULBबाटोमा तिमीहरूको सुरक्षा दिन र मैले तिमीहरूका निम्ति तयार पारिराखेको ठाउँमा तिमीहरूलाई ल्याउन म तिमीहरूका अगिअगि एउटा दूत पठाउनेछु ।BSBBSB: Behold, I am sending an angel before you to protect you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.
21. 21NPIULBतिनको कुरा सुनी तिनको आज्ञा पालन गर । तिनलाई नचिढ्याओ किनकि तिनले तिमीहरूका अपराधहरू क्षमा दिनेछैनन् । तिनैमा मेरो नाउँ छ ।BSBBSB: Pay attention to him and listen to his voice; do not defy him, for he will not forgive rebellion, since My Name is in him.
22. 22NPIULBतिमीहरूले वास्तवमै तिनका आज्ञा मान्यौ र मैले भनेका हरेक कुरा गर्यौ भने म तिमीहरूका शत्रुहरूका शत्रु हुनेछु र तिमीहरूका वैरीहरूका वैरी हुनेछु ।BSBBSB: But if you will listen carefully to his voice and do everything I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes.
23. 23NPIULBमेरा दूत तिमीहरूका अगिअगि जानेछन् र तिनले तिमीहरूलाई एमोरी, हित्ती, परिज्जी, कनानी, हिव्वी र यबूसीहरूकहाँ ल्याउनेछन् । म तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट गर्नेछु ।BSBBSB: For My angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I will annihilate them.
24. 24NPIULBतिमीहरू तिनीहरूका देवी-देवताहरूको सामु ननिहरनू, तिनीहरूको पूजा नगर्नू न त तिनीहरूले गरेजस्तै गर्नू । बरु तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूलाई बिलकुलै नाश गरिदिनू र तिनीहरूका ढुङ्गाका मूर्तिहरूलाई टुक्राटुक्रा पारिदिनू ।BSBBSB: You must not bow down to their gods or serve them or follow their practices. Instead, you are to demolish them and smash their sacred stones to pieces.
25. 25NPIULBतिमीहरूले परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरको आराधना गर्नू, अनि उहाँले तिमीहरूका अन्न र पानीमा आशिष् दिनुहुनेछ । म तिमीहरूका बिचबाट रोग हटाइदिनेछु ।BSBBSB: So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take away sickness from among you.
26. 26NPIULBतिमीहरूको देशमा कुनै पनि स्त्री बाँझी हुनेछैन न त कसैको गर्भ तुहिनेछ ।BSBBSB: No woman in your land will miscarry or be barren; I will fulfill the number of your days.
27. 27NPIULBम तिमीहरूलाई दीर्घायु दिनेछु । तिमीहरू अगाडि बढ्ने देशमा म मेरो डर अगिअगि पठाउनेछु । म तिमीहरूले भेट्ने सबै मानिसलाई मार्नेछु । म तिमीहरूका सबै शत्रुलाई तिमीहरूको डरको कारणले भगाउनेछु ।BSBBSB: I will send My terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn and run.
28. 28NPIULBम तिमीहरूका अगिअगि अरिङ्गालहरू पठाउनेछु जसले हिव्वी, कनानी र हित्तीहरूलाई तिमीहरूभन्दा अगाडि नै धपाउनेछन् ।BSBBSB: I will send the hornet before you to drive the Hivites and Canaanites and Hittites out of your way.
29. 29NPIULBम तिनीहरूलाई एकै वर्षमा तिमीहरूको सामुन्नेबाट धपाउनेछैनँ, नत्रता देश उजाड हुनेछ र जङ्गली जनावरहरू तिमीहरूका निम्ति अत्यधिक हुनेछन् ।BSBBSB: I will not drive them out before you in a single year; otherwise the land would become desolate and wild animals would multiply against you.
30. 30NPIULBबरु, तिमीहरूको वृद्धि भई तिमीहरू देशमा नभरिएसम्म म तिनीहरूलाई तिमीहरूकै सामु अलिअलि गरेर धपाउनेछु ।BSBBSB: Little by little I will drive them out ahead of you, until you become fruitful and possess the land.
31. 31NPIULBनर्कटहरूको समुद्रदेखि पलिश्तिहरूको समुद्रसम्म र उजाड-स्थानदेखि यूफ्रेटिस नदीसम्म म तिमीहरूका सिमाना तोकिदिनेछु । त्यस देशका बासिन्दाहरूमाथि म तिमीहरूलाई विजय दिनेछु । तिमीहरूले तिमीहरूकै सामु तिनीहरूलाई धपाउनेछौ ।BSBBSB: And I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the Euphrates. For I will deliver the inhabitants into your hand, and you will drive them out before you.
32. 32NPIULBतिनीहरूसित वा तिनीहरूका देवी-देवताहरूसित करार नबाँध्नू ।BSBBSB: You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods.
33. 33NPIULBतिनीहरू तिमीहरूको देशमा बस्नुहुँदैन नत्रता तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई मेरो विरुद्धमा पाप गर्न लगाउनेछन् । तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूका देवी-देवताहरूलाई पुजा गर्यौ भने निश्चय नै यो तिमीहरूका लागि पासो हुनेछ ।”BSBBSB: They must not remain in your land, lest they cause you to sin against Me. For if you serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”
