1. 1NPIULBतब याकूबले आफ्ना छोराहरूलाई बोलाएर भनेः “तिमीहरू यहाँ जम्मा होओ, ताकि भविष्यमा तिमीहरूमाथि के आइपर्नेछ सो म तिमीहरूलाई भनूँ ।BSBBSB: Then Jacob called for his sons and said, “Gather around so that I can tell you what will happen to you in the days to come:
2. 2NPIULBहे याकूबका छोरा हो, जम्मा भएर सुन, तिमीहरूका बुबा इस्राएलका कुरा सुन ।BSBBSB: Come together and listen, O sons of Jacob; listen to your father Israel.
3. 3NPIULBरूबेन, तँ मेरो जेठो छोरो होस्, मेरो शक्ति र मेरो बलको सुरु, गौरव र शक्तिमा उत्कृष्ट ।BSBBSB: Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, excelling in honor, excelling in power.
4. 4NPIULBबग्ने पानीजस्तो चञ्चल, तेरो प्रतिष्ठा रहनेछैन, किनभने तँ तेरा बुबाको ओछ्यानमा चढिस् । अनि त्यसलाई अशुद्ध पारिस्; तँ मेरो पलङ्गमा चढ़िस् ।BSBBSB: Uncontrolled as the waters, you will no longer excel, because you went up to your father’s bed, onto my couch, and defiled it.
5. 5NPIULBशिमियोन र लेवी दाजुभाइ हुन् । हिंसाका हतियार नै तिनीहरूका तरवार हुन् ।BSBBSB: Simeon and Levi are brothers; their swords are weapons of violence.
6. 6NPIULBए मेरो प्राण, तिनीहरूको सभामा नआइज, तिनीहरूको बैठकमा नबस् किनकि मेरो हृदयमा त्यसको निम्ति अत्यन्तै श्रद्धा छ । किनकि तिनीहरूलेआफ्नो रिसमा मानिसहरूलाई मारे । तिनीहरूले आफ्नो आनन्दको निम्ति गोरुहरूका ढोडनसा काटेका छन् ।BSBBSB: May I never enter their council; may I never join their assembly. For they kill men in their anger, and hamstring oxen on a whim.
7. 7NPIULBतिनीहरूको रिस श्रापित् होस्, किनभने त्यो भयानक छ, र तिनीहरूको क्रोध पनि श्रापित् होस् किनकि त्यो निष्ठुर छ । तिनीहरूलाई म याकूबमा विभाजन गर्नेछु, इस्राएलमा तितरबितर पार्नेछु ।BSBBSB: Cursed be their anger, for it is strong, and their wrath, for it is cruel! I will disperse them in Jacob and scatter them in Israel.
8. 8NPIULBए यहूदा, तेरा दाजुभाइहरूले तेरो प्रशंसा गर्नेछन् । तेरा हात तेरा शत्रुहरूका गर्दनमा हुनेछन् । तेरा बुबाका छोराहरू तेरो सामुन्ने निहुरिनेछन् ।BSBBSB: Judah, your brothers shall praise you. Your hand shall be on the necks of your enemies; your father’s sons shall bow down to you.
9. 9NPIULBयहूदा सिंहको डमरु हो । ए मेरो छोरो, तँ तेरो शिकारभन्दा उच्च भएको छस् । त्यो निहुरियो, सिंह र सिंहनीझैँ झुक्यो । कसले त्यसलाई उठाउने आँट गर्छ?BSBBSB: Judah is a young lion—my son, you return from the prey. Like a lion he crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to rouse him?
10. 10NPIULBयहूदाको हातबाट राजदण्ड हट्नेछैन, न त राज्य चलाउनेको लाठी त्यसका खुट्टाका बिचबाट हट्नेछ, जबसम्म त्यसका मालिक आउँदैनन् । जातिहरूले उहाँको आज्ञा मान्नेछन् ।BSBBSB: The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes and the allegiance of the nations is his.
11. 11NPIULBत्यसको गधालाई दाखको बोटमा, र गधाको बछेड़ोलाई चाहिँ उत्तम जातको हाँगामा बाँधेर त्यसले आफ्ना लुगाहरू दाखमद्यमा, आफ्ना पोशाक अङ्गुरको रसमा धुनेछ ।BSBBSB: He ties his donkey to the vine, his colt to the choicest branch. He washes his garments in wine, his robes in the blood of grapes.
12. 12NPIULBत्यसका आँखा दाखमद्यजस्तै गाढा, र त्यसका दाँत दुधजस्ता सेता हुनेछन् ।BSBBSB: His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth are whiter than milk.
13. 13NPIULBजबूलून समुद्रको किनारमा बस्नेछ । जहाजहरूका निम्ति त्यो बन्दरगाह हुनेछ, र त्यसको सिमाना सीदोनसम्म हुनेछ ।BSBBSB: Zebulun shall dwell by the seashore and become a harbor for ships; his border shall extend to Sidon.
14. 14NPIULBइस्साखार दुई भारीहरूका बिचमा लेटिरहने बलियो गधा हो ।BSBBSB: Issachar is a strong donkey, lying down between the sheepfolds.
15. 15NPIULBजसले असल विश्रामको ठाउँ असल र रमाइलो देश देख्छ । त्यसले भारी बोक्नलाई आफ्नो काँध झुकाउनेछ, र काम गर्ने नोकर बन्नेछ ।BSBBSB: He saw that his resting place was good and that his land was pleasant, so he bent his shoulder to the burden and submitted to labor as a servant.
16. 16NPIULBइस्राएलका कुलमध्ये एउटा कुल भएर दानले आफ्ना मानिसहरूको न्याय गर्नेछ ।BSBBSB: Dan shall provide justice for his people as one of the tribes of Israel.
17. 17NPIULBदान बाटोको छेउमा भएको एउटा सर्प, अर्थात् घोडाको कुर्कुच्चा डस्ने विषालु सर्प हुनेछ र त्यसको घोडचढी पछिल्तिर लोट्छ ।BSBBSB: He will be a snake by the road, a viper in the path that bites the horse’s heels so that its rider tumbles backward.
18. 18NPIULBहे परमप्रभु, म तपाईंको उद्धारको प्रतीक्षा गर्छु ।BSBBSB: I await Your salvation, O LORD.
19. 19NPIULBगादमाथि आक्रमण गर्नेले त्यसलाई आक्रमण गर्नेछ, तर त्यसले तिनीहरूको कुर्कुच्चामा आक्रमण गर्नेछ ।BSBBSB: Gad will be attacked by raiders, but he will attack their heels.
20. 20NPIULBआशेरको अनाज प्रशस्त हुनेछ, र त्यसले राजकीय खाना उपलब्ध गराउनेछ ।BSBBSB: Asher’s food will be rich; he shall provide royal delicacies.
21. 21NPIULBनप्ताली सुन्दर पाठापाठी पाउने फुकाइएकी मुडुली-मृग हो ।BSBBSB: Naphtali is a doe set free that bears beautiful fawns.
22. 22NPIULBयोसेफ एउटा फलवन्त लहरा हो, पानीको मूलनेर भएको फल दिने लहरा, जसका हाँगाहरू पर्खालमाथि फैलिन्छन् ।BSBBSB: Joseph is a fruitful vine—a fruitful vine by a spring, whose branches scale the wall.
23. 23NPIULBधनुर्धारीहरूले त्यसलाई आक्रमण गर्नेछन् र त्यसमाथि काँड चलाउनेछन्, र त्यसलाई सताउनेछन् ।BSBBSB: The archers attacked him with bitterness; they aimed at him in hostility.
24. 24NPIULBतापनि त्यसको धनु स्थिर रहनेछ, र याकूबका शक्तिशाली परमेश्वरका हातको कारण र ती गोठाला अर्थात् इस्राएलको चट्टानद्वारा त्यसका हातहरू सिपालु हुनेछन्, ती गोठाला, इस्राएलको चट्टानद्वारा ।BSBBSB: Yet he steadied his bow, and his strong arms were tempered by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, in the name of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,
25. 25NPIULBतेरा बुबाका परमेश्वरले तँलाई सहायता गर्नुहुन्छ, र सर्वशक्तिमान् परमेश्वरले माथि स्वर्गका आशिष्हरू, तल अगाधका आशिष्हरू, अनि स्तन र गर्भका आशिष्हरूले आशिषित्् तुल्याउनुहुनेछ ।BSBBSB: by the God of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you, with blessings of the heavens above, with blessings of the depths below, with blessings of the breasts and womb.
26. 26NPIULBतेरा बुबाका आशीर्वादहरू प्राचीन पहाडहरूका आशीर्वादभन्दा महान् छन् वा प्राचीन डाँडाहरूका वाञ्छनीय कुरा हुन्छन् । ती सबै योसेफको शिरमा होऊन्, त्यसका दाजुभाइहरूमध्येका प्रधानको शिरमा पनि ।BSBBSB: The blessings of your father have surpassed the blessings of the ancient mountains and the bounty of the everlasting hills. May they rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince of his brothers.
27. 27NPIULBबेन्यामीन एउटा भोको ब्वाँसो हो । बिहान त्यसले शिकार खान्छ, र बेलुकीचाहिँ त्यसले लुट बाँड्छ ।BSBBSB: Benjamin is a ravenous wolf; in the morning he devours the prey, in the evening he divides the plunder.”
28. 28NPIULBयी इस्राएलका बाह्र कुल हुन् । आफ्ना बुबाले तिनीहरूलाई आशीर्वाद दिँदा भनेका कुरा यही हो । प्रत्येकलाई तिनले सुहाउँदो आशीर्वाद दिए ।BSBBSB: These are the tribes of Israel, twelve in all, and this was what their father said to them. He blessed them, and he blessed each one with a suitable blessing.
29. 29NPIULBतब तिनले तिनीहरूलाई यो आज्ञा दिएर यसो भने “म त मेरा मानिसहरूकहाँ मिल्न जान लागेको छु । हित्ती एप्रोनको खेतमा भएको ओडारमा मेरा पिता-पुर्खाहरूका साथमा मलाई गाड,BSBBSB: Then Jacob instructed them, “I am about to be gathered to my people. Bury me with my fathers in the cave in the field of Ephron the Hittite.
30. 30NPIULBअर्थात् कनान देशमा मम्रेनेरको मक्पेलाको खेतमा भएको ओडार, जुन अब्राहामले हित्ती एप्रोनको हातबाट खेतसमेत चिहान बनाउनलाई किनेका थिए ।BSBBSB: The cave is in the field of Machpelah near Mamre, in the land of Canaan. This is the field Abraham purchased from Ephron the Hittite as a burial site.
31. 31NPIULBउनीहरूले अब्राहाम र तिनकी पत्नी सारालाई त्यहीँ गाडे । त्यहीँ नै उनीहरूले इसहाक र तिनकी पत्नी रिबेकालाई पनि गाडे । त्यहीँ नै मैले लेआलाई गाडेँ ।BSBBSB: There Abraham and his wife Sarah are buried, there Isaac and his wife Rebekah are buried, and there I buried Leah.
32. 32NPIULBत्यो खेत र त्यहाँ भएको ओडार हित्तीहरूको हातबाट किनिएको थियो ।”BSBBSB: The field and the cave that is in it were purchased from the Hittites.”
33. 33NPIULBछोराहरूलाई यो आज्ञा दिइसकेपछि याकूबले आफ्ना खुट्टा ओछ्यानमा पसारेर आफ्नो प्राण त्यागे, र आफ्ना पिता-पुर्खाहरूसँग मिल्न गए ।BSBBSB: When Jacob had finished instructing his sons, he pulled his feet into the bed and breathed his last, and he was gathered to his people.
