Matthew 19 (NPIULB)

1जब येशूले यी कुराहरू भनेर सिद्ध्यानुभयो, उहाँ गालीलबाट निस्कनुभयो, र यर्दन नदीको पारि यहूदियाको सिमानासम्म आउनुभयो ।When Jesus had finished saying these things, He left Galilee and went into the region of Judea beyond the Jordan.

2एउटा ठुलो भिडले उहाँलाई पछ्यायो, र उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई निको पार्नुभयो ।Large crowds followed Him, and He healed them there.

3फरिसीहरू उहाँकहाँ आएर उहाँको जाँच गर्दै उहाँलाई भने, “के मानिसले कुनै कारणले उसकी पत्नीलाई त्याग्नु उसको निम्ति न्यायसङ्गत हुन्छ ?”Then some Pharisees came and tested Him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”

4येशूले उत्तर दिनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “के तिमीहरूले पढेका छैनौ, कि जसले तिनीहरूलाई बनाउनुभयो, उहाँले सुरुदेखि नै तिनीहरूलाई पुरुष र स्त्री गरी बनाउनुभयो ?”Jesus answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’

5अनि जसले तिनीहरूलाई बनाउनुभयो उहाँले यस्तो पनि भन्नुभयो, ‘यसै कारणले मानिसले उसका बुबा र आमालाई छोड्नेछ र उसकी पत्नीसँग मिल्नेछ र ती दुवै जना एउटै शरीर हुनेछन् ।’and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’?

6यसैकारण तिनीहरू अब दुई होइनन्, तर एउटै शरीर हुन् । त्यसैकारण जे परमेश्वरले एकसाथ जोड्नुभएको छ, तिनीहरूलाई कसैले पनि नछुट्ट्याओस् ।”So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”

7तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भने, “त्यसो भए मोशाले हामीलाई त्यागपत्र लेखेर त्याग्ने आज्ञा किन दिए त ?”“Why then,” they asked, “did Moses order a man to give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”

8उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “तिमीहरूको हृदयको कठोरताको कारणले मोशाले तिमीहरूलाई तिमीहरूका पत्नीहरू त्याग्न अनुमति दिए, तर सुरुदेखि त यस्तो थिएन ।Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because of your hardness of heart. But it was not this way from the beginning.

9म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, जसले कामुक अनैतिकताको कारणले बाहेक आफ्नी पत्नीलाई त्याग्छ, र अर्कीसँग विवाह गर्छ, त्यसले व्यभिचार गर्दछ । र जुन मानिसले त्यस त्यागिएकी स्त्रीसँग विवाह गर्दछ उसले पनि व्यभिचार गर्दछ ।”Now I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

10चेलाहरूले येशूलाई भने, “यदि पतिको आफ्नी पत्नीसँग यस्तो अवस्था हुन्छ भने, विवाह नगर्नु नै असल हो ।”His disciples said to Him, “If this is the case between a man and his wife, it is better not to marry.”

11तर येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “सबै व्यक्तिले यस शिक्षालाई ग्रहण गर्न सक्दैनन्, तर तिनीहरूले मात्र जसलाई यो ग्रहण गर्नको निम्ति दिइएको छ ।“Not everyone can accept this word,” He replied, “but only those to whom it has been given.

12किनकि केही नपुंसकहरू छन् जो आफ्नी आमाको गर्भदेखि नै त्यस्तै जन्मे । र केही नपुंसकहरू छन् जो मानिसहरूद्वारा नपुंसक बनाइएका थिए । र केही नपुंसकहरू छन् जसले स्वर्गको राज्यको निम्ति आफैँलाई नपुंसक बनाए । जसले यो शिक्षालाई ग्रहण गर्न सक्षम हुन्छ, उसले ग्रहण गरोस् ।”For there are eunuchs who were born that way; others were made that way by men; and still others live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”

13त्यसपछि येशूले आफ्ना हात राखेर प्रार्थना गरिदिऊन् भनी उहाँकहाँ केही स-साना बालकहरूलाई ल्याइयो, तर चेलाहरूले तिनीहरूलाई हप्काए ।Then little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them.

14तथापि येशूले भन्नुभयो, “साना बालकहरूलाई अनुमति देओ र तिनीहरूलाई मकहाँ आउन नरोक किनभने स्वर्गको राज्य यिनीहरूकै हो ।”But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

15अनि उहाँले तिनीहरूमाथि आफ्ना हात राख्नुभयो, र त्यसपछि त्यहाँबाट निस्कनुभयो ।And after He had placed His hands on them, He went on from there.

16हेर, एक जना मानिस येशूकहाँ आयो र भन्यो, “गुरुज्यू, मैले अनन्त जीवन प्राप्त गर्न के असल काम गर्नुपर्छ ?”Just then a man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?”

17येशूले उसलाई भन्नुभयो, “असल के हो भनेर तिमी मलाई किन सोध्छौ ? एक मात्र असल हुनुहुन्छ, तर यदि तिमी जीवनमा प्रवेश गर्न चाहन्छौ भने, आज्ञाहरू पालन गर ।”“Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”

18त्यो मानिसले उहाँलाई भन्यो, “कुन आज्ञाहरू ?” येशूले भन्नुभयो, “हत्या नगर्नू, व्यभिचार नगर्नू, चोरी नगर्नू, झुटो गवाही नदिनू,“Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness,

19आफ्ना बुबा र आमालाई आदर गर्नू, र आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई आफूलाई जस्तै प्रेम गर्नू ।”honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’”

20त्यो जवान मानिसले उहाँलाई भन्यो, “यी सबै कुरा त मैले पालना गरेकै छु । मैले अझै के गर्न आवश्यक छ ?”“All these I have kept,” said the young man. “What do I still lack?”

21येशूले उसलाई भन्नुभयो, “यदि तिमी सिद्ध हुने इच्छा गर्छौ भने, जाऊ, र तिमीसँग जे-जति छ त्यो बेच, र ती गरिबहरूलाई देऊ र तिमीले स्वर्गमा धन प्राप्त गर्नेछौ । त्यसपछि आएर मलाई पछ्याऊ ।”Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”

22तर जब त्यस जवान मानिसले येशूले भन्नुभएको कुरा सुन्यो, ऊ साह्रै दुःखित भएर गइहाल्यो, किनभने ऊ धेरै सम्पत्ति भएको मानिस थियो ।When the young man heard this, he went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth.

23येशूले उहाँका चेलाहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “साँच्चै म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, धनी मानिसलाई स्वर्गको राज्यमा प्रवेश गर्न धेरै कठिन हुन्छ ।Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.

24म फेरि तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, “धनी मानिसलाई परमेश्वरको राज्यमा प्रवेश गर्नु भन्दा त उँटलाई सियोको नाथ्रीबाट प्रवेश गर्न सजिलो हुन्छ ।”Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

25जब चेलाहरूले यो सुने, तिनीहरू सार्है छक्क परे र भने, “त्यसो भए को बचाइन सक्छ ?”When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”

26येशूले तिनीहरूलाई हेर्नुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “मानिसहरूका निम्ति त यो असम्भव छ, तर परमेश्वरको निम्ति सबै कुरा सम्भव छन् ।”Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

27त्यसपछि पत्रुसले जवाफ दिए र उहाँलाई भने, “हेर्नुहोस्, हामीले सबै थोक त्यागेका छौँ र तपाईंलाई पछ्याएका छौँ । तब हामीले के पाउनेछौँ ?”“Look,” Peter replied, “we have left everything to follow You. What then will there be for us?”

28येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “साँच्चै म तिमीहरूलाई भन्दछु, तिमीहरू जसले मलाई पछ्याएका छौ, नयाँ जन्ममा जब मानिसका पुत्र इस्राएलका बाह्र कुलको न्याय गर्दै आफ्नो महिमाको सिंहासनमा बस्छन्, तिमीहरू पनि बाह्रवटा सिंहासनमा बस्नेछौ ।Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

29प्रत्येक जसले मेरो नामको खातिर घरबार, दाजुभाइ, दिदी-बहिनीहरू, बुबा, आमा, बालबच्चाहरू वा देश त्यागेको छ, उसले सय गुणा प्राप्त गर्नेछ र अनन्त जीवनको अधिकार पाउनेछ ।And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for the sake of My name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.

30तर धेरै जना जो अहिले पहिला छन्, तिनीहरू पछि पर्नेछन्, र धेरै जना जो पछि परेका छन्, तिनीहरू पहिला हुनेछन् ।But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.
