1. 1NPIULBअब जब बिहान भयो, सबै मुख्य पुजारीहरू र मानिसका एल्डरहरूले येशूलाई मार्न उहाँको विरुद्ध षड्यन्त्र रचे ।BSBBSB: When morning came, all the chief priests and elders of the people conspired against Jesus to put Him to death.
2. 2NPIULBतिनीहरूले उहाँलाई बाँधेर त्यहाँबाट लागे, र हाकिम पिलातसकहाँ सुम्पिदिए ।BSBBSB: They bound Him, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate the governor.
3. 3NPIULBत्यसपछि जब उहाँलाई धोका दिने यहूदाले येशूलाई दण्डाज्ञा भएको देख्यो, त्यसलाई पछुतो लाग्यो र मुख्य पुजारीहरू र एल्डरहरूलाई ती चाँदीका तिसवटा सिक्का फर्काइदियो,BSBBSB: When Judas, who had betrayed Him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was filled with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders.
4. 4NPIULBर भन्यो, “मैले निर्दोष मानिसलाई धोका दिएर पाप गरेको छु” । तर तिनीहरूले भने, “हामीलाई त्यसको के सरोकार ? तिमी आफैँ जान ।”BSBBSB: “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood,” he said. “What is that to us?” they replied. “You bear the responsibility.”

6. 6NPIULBती मुख्य पुजारीहरूले चाँदीका सिक्काहरू लिए र भने, “यसलाई ढुकुटीमा राख्न न्यायसङ्गत हुँदैन, किनकि यो रगतको मोल हो ।”BSBBSB: The chief priests picked up the pieces of silver and said, “It is unlawful to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money.”
7. 7NPIULBतिनीहरूले आपसमा यसबारे छलफल गरे र त्यस पैसाले परदेशीहरूलाई दफन गर्न कुमालेको जमिन किने ।BSBBSB: After conferring together, they used the money to buy the potter’s field as a burial place for foreigners.
8. 8NPIULBयही कारणले त्यस जमिनलाई आजको दिनसम्म पनि “रगतको जमिन” भनिन्छ ।BSBBSB: That is why it has been called the Field of Blood to this day.
9. 9NPIULBयसरी यर्मिया अगमवक्ताले भनेका वचन पुरा भयो, “इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले उहाँको निम्ति तोकेका मूल्य अर्थात् चाँदीका तिसवटा सिक्का तिनीहरूले लिए,BSBBSB: Then what was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: “They took the thirty pieces of silver, the price set on Him by the people of Israel,
10. 10NPIULBर परमप्रभुले मलाई निर्देशन दिनुभएअनुसार तिनीहरूले कुमालेको जमिनको निम्ति त्यो दिए ।”BSBBSB: and they gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord had commanded me.”
11. 11NPIULBअब येशू ती हाकिमको अगाडि उभिनुभयो, र हाकिमले उहाँलाई सोधे, “के तिमी यहूदीहरूका राजा हौ ?” येशूले तिनलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो, “तपाईंले नै त्यसो भन्नुहुन्छ ?”BSBBSB: Meanwhile Jesus stood before the governor, who questioned Him: “Are You the King of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied.

14. 14NPIULBतर उहाँले एउटै पनि जवाफ दिनुभएन । त्यसकारण, ती हाकिम बडो आश्चर्यचकित भए ।BSBBSB: But Jesus gave no answer, not even to a single charge, much to the governor’s amazement.
15. 15NPIULBअब चाडको दिनमा भिडद्वारा चुनिएको एक जना कैदीलाई छोडिदिने हाकिमको प्रथा थियो ।BSBBSB: Now it was the governor’s custom at the feast to release to the crowd a prisoner of their choosing.
16. 16NPIULBत्यस समयमा तिनीहरूसँग बारब्बा नाम गरेको एउटा कुख्यात कैदी थियो ।BSBBSB: At that time they were holding a notorious prisoner named Barabbas.
17. 17NPIULBत्यसैले, जब तिनीहरू आपसमा भेला भए, पिलातसले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “मैले तिमीहरूका निम्ति कसलाई मुक्त गरिदिएको तिमीहरू चाहन्छौ– बारब्बा कि येशू जसलाई ख्रीष्ट भनिन्छ ?”BSBBSB: So when the crowd had assembled, Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”
18. 18NPIULBकिनकि उनलाई थाहा थियो, कि तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई तिनीकहाँ ईर्ष्याको कारणले गर्दा सुम्पेका थिए ।BSBBSB: For he knew it was out of envy that they had handed Jesus over to him.
19. 19NPIULBजब उनी न्यायकर्ताको आसनमा बसिरहेका थिए, उनकी पत्नीले उनलाई सन्देश पठाइन् र भनिन्, “ती निर्दोष मानिसलाई केही नगर्नुहोस्, किनकि उनको कारणले गर्दा आज मैले सपनामा निकै दुःख भोगेकी छु ।”BSBBSB: While Pilate was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him this message: “Have nothing to do with that innocent man, for I have suffered terribly in a dream today because of Him.”
20. 20NPIULBतब मुख्य पुजारीहरू र एल्डरहरूले बारब्बालाई छोड्न र येशूलाई मार्नको निम्ति भिडलाई राजी गराए ।BSBBSB: But the chief priests and elders persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus put to death.
21. 21NPIULBती हाकिमले तिनीहरूलाई सोधे, “यी दुईमध्ये मैले तिमीहरूका निम्ति कसलाई मुक्त गरेको तिमीहरू चाहन्छौ ?” तिनीहरूले भने, “बारब्बा ।”BSBBSB: “Which of the two do you want me to release to you?” asked the governor. “Barabbas,” they replied.
22. 22NPIULBपिलातसले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “ख्रीष्ट भनिने येशूलाई चाहिँ म के गरूँ ?” तिनीहरू सबैले जवाफ दिए, “त्यसलाई क्रुसमा झुन्ड्याउनुहोस् ।”BSBBSB: “What then should I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” Pilate asked. They all answered, “Crucify Him!”
23. 23NPIULBर उनले भने, “किन, उनले के अपराध गरेका छन् ?” तर तिनीहरू झन् चर्को स्वरले यसो भनी कराए, “त्यसलाई क्रुसमा झुन्ड्याउनुहोस् ।”BSBBSB: “Why?” asked Pilate. “What evil has He done?” But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify Him!”
24. 24NPIULBजब, पिलातसले आफूले केही गर्न नसक्ने देखे, बरु खैलाबैला मच्चिन लागेको थाहा पाएर, उनले पानी लिई भिडको सामु आफ्ना हात धोए र भने, “यी निर्दोष मानिसको रगतदेखि म निर्दोष छु । तिमीहरू आफैँ जान ।”BSBBSB: When Pilate saw that he was accomplishing nothing, but that instead a riot was breaking out, he took water and washed his hands before the crowd. “I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said. “You bear the responsibility.”
25. 25NPIULBसबै मानिसले भने, “उसको रगत हामी र हाम्रा छोराछोरीहरूमाथि परोस् ।”BSBBSB: All the people answered, “His blood be on us and on our children!”
26. 26NPIULBअनि उनले बारब्बालाई तिनीहरूका निम्ति छोडिदिए, तर उनले येशूलाई कोर्रा लगाए र क्रुसमा झुन्ड्याउनको निम्ति सुम्पिदिए ।BSBBSB: So Pilate released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be crucified.
27. 27NPIULBअनि ती हाकिमका सेनाहरूले येशूलाई महलमा लगे र सेनाहरूको सारा पल्टनलाई भेला गराए ।BSBBSB: Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company around Him.
28. 28NPIULBतिनीहरूले उहाँको वस्त्र खोलिदिए र उनलाई लाल वस्त्र लगाइदिए ।BSBBSB: They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.
29. 29NPIULBतिनीहरूले काँडाहरूको एउटा मुकुट बनाए र उहाँको शिरमा लगाइदिए, र उहाँको दाहिने हातमा एउटा लौरो राखिदिए । तिनीहरूले उहाँको सामु घुँडा टेके र यसो भन्दै उहाँको गिल्ला गरे, “यहूदीहरूका राजालाई प्रणाम !”BSBBSB: And they twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His head. They put a staff in His right hand, knelt down before Him, and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
30. 30NPIULBतिनीहरूले उहाँलाई थुके, र तिनीहरूले लौरो लिए र उहाँको शिरमा हिर्काए ।BSBBSB: Then they spit on Him and took the staff and struck Him on the head repeatedly.
31. 31NPIULBतिनीहरूले उहाँको गिल्ला गरिसकेपछि तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई पहिराइदिएको वस्त्र खोलिदिए र उहाँको आफ्नै लुगा लगाइदिए, र उहाँलाई क्रुसमा झुन्ड्याउन त्यहाँबाट लगे ।BSBBSB: After they had mocked Him, they removed the robe and put His own clothes back on Him. Then they led Him away to crucify Him.
32. 32NPIULBजब तिनीहरू बाहिर आए, तिनीहरूले सिमोन नाउँ गरेको कुरेनीको एक जना मानिसलाई भेट्टाए, जसलाई उनीहरूसँग जान तिनीहरूले कर गरे ताकि उसले उहाँको क्रुस बोकोस् ।BSBBSB: Along the way they found a man from Cyrene, named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross of Jesus.
33. 33NPIULBतिनीहरू गलगथा भन्ने ठाउँमा आइपुगे, जसको अर्थ “खोपडीको स्थान” हो ।BSBBSB: And when they came to a place called Golgotha, which means The Place of the Skull,
34. 34NPIULBतिनीहरूले उहाँलाई पित्त मिसिएको दाखमद्य पिउन दिए । तर जब उहाँले त्यो चाख्नुभयो, उहाँले त्यो पिउनुभएन ।BSBBSB: they offered Him wine to drink, mixed with gall; but after tasting it, He refused to drink it.
35. 35NPIULBजब उनीहरूले उहाँलाई क्रुसमा टाँगे, तिनीहरूले चिट्ठा हाले र उहाँका वस्त्रहरूलाई भाग लगाए ।BSBBSB: When they had crucified Him, they divided up His garments by casting lots.
36. 36NPIULBअनि तिनीहरू बसे र उहाँलाई हेरे ।BSBBSB: And sitting down, they kept watch over Him there.
37. 37NPIULBउहाँको शिरमाथि यसो भनिएको अभियोग लेखिएको थियो, “यिनी येशू हुन्, यहूदीहरूका राजा ।”BSBBSB: Above His head they posted the written charge against Him: THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.
38. 38NPIULBदुई जना डाँकु उहाँसँगै क्रुसमा टाँगिएका थिए– एउटा उहाँको दायाँपट्टि र अर्को उहाँको बायाँपट्टि ।”BSBBSB: Two robbers were crucified with Him, one on His right and the other on His left.
39. 39NPIULBजो त्यो बाटो भएर जान्थे, तिनीहरूले यसो भन्दै टाउको हल्लाएर उहाँको गिल्ला गर्थे,BSBBSB: And those who passed by heaped abuse on Him, shaking their heads
40. 40NPIULB“तिमी जसले मन्दिरलाई भत्काएर तिन दिनमा बनाउन गइरहेका थियौ, आफैँलाई बचाऊ ! यदि तिमी परमेश्वरका पुत्र हौ भने, क्रुसबाट तल ओर्ल !”BSBBSB: and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross!”
41. 41NPIULBयसरी नै मुख्य पुजारीहरूले पनि शास्त्रीहरू र एल्डरहरूसँगसँगै उहाँको गिल्ला गरे र भने,BSBBSB: In the same way, the chief priests, scribes, and elders mocked Him, saying,
42. 42NPIULB“उसले अरूहरूलाई बचायो, तर आफैँलाई भने बचाउन सक्दैन । ऊ इस्राएलको राजा हो । ऊ क्रुसबाट तल आओस्, अनि त्यसपछि हामी उसमाथि विश्वास गर्नेछौँ ।BSBBSB: “He saved others, but He cannot save Himself. He is the King of Israel! Let Him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in Him.
43. 43NPIULBउसले परमेश्वरमा विश्वास गर्छ । र परमेश्वरले चाहनुहुन्छ भने उहाँले नै उसलाई बचाऊन्, किनकि उसले यस्तो भनेको थियो, ‘म परमेश्वरका पुत्र हुँ ।’”BSBBSB: He trusts in God. Let God deliver Him now if He wants Him. For He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’”
44. 44NPIULBर उहाँसँगै क्रुसमा टाँगिएका डाँकुहरूले पनि उस्तै तरिकाले उहाँको गिल्ला गरे ।BSBBSB: In the same way, even the robbers who were crucified with Him berated Him.
45. 45NPIULBअब मध्यान्नदेखि दिउँसो तिन बजेसम्म सारा देशलाई अन्धकारले ढाक्यो ।BSBBSB: From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land.
46. 46NPIULBतिन बजे येशू ठुलो स्वरले कराउनुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “इलोई, इलोई लामा सबखथनी ?” जसको अर्थ हो, “मेरा परमेश्वर, मेरा परमेश्वर, तपाईंले मलाई किन त्याग्नुभएको छ ?”BSBBSB: About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
47. 47NPIULBजब त्यहाँ उभिरहेकाहरूमध्ये केहीले यो सुने, तिनीहरूले भने, “यसले एलियालाई बोलाउँदै छ ।”BSBBSB: When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He is calling Elijah.”
48. 48NPIULBझट्टै तिनीहरूमध्ये एक जना दौडेर गयो र एउटा स्पन्ज लियो, त्यसलाई अमिलो दाखमद्यले भर्यो, त्यसलाई निगालोमा राखी उहाँलाई पिउन दियो ।BSBBSB: One of them quickly ran and brought a sponge. He filled it with sour wine, put it on a reed, and held it up for Jesus to drink.
49. 49NPIULBअरूहरूले चाहीँ भने, “उसलाई एकलै छोडिदेऊ । उसलाई बचाउन एलिया आउँछन् कि आउँदैनन् हामीलाई हेर्न देऊ ।”BSBBSB: But the others said, “Leave Him alone. Let us see if Elijah comes to save Him.”
50. 50NPIULBत्यसपछि येशू फेरि ठुलो स्वरले कराउनुभयो र आफ्नो प्राण त्याग्नुभयो ।BSBBSB: When Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, He yielded up His spirit.
51. 51NPIULBहेर, मन्दिरको पर्दा टुप्पोदेखि फेदसम्म दुई भाग भएर च्यातियो । र पृथ्वी हल्लियो र चट्टानहरू टुक्रिए ।BSBBSB: At that moment the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth quaked, and the rocks were split.
52. 52NPIULBचिहानहरू उघारिए, र धेरै पवित्र जनहरूका मृत शरीरहरू उठाइए, जो निन्द्रामा परेका थिए ।BSBBSB: The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised.
53. 53NPIULBउहाँको पुनरुत्थानपछि तिनीहरू चिहानबाट बाहिर निस्के; पवित्र सहरमा प्रवेश गरे, र धेरैका माझमा देखा परे ।BSBBSB: After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people.
54. 54NPIULBअब जब कप्तान र येशूलाई हेरिरहेकाहरूले भूकम्प गएको र त्यहाँ भएका घटनाहरू देखे, तिनीहरू धेरै भयभीत भए र भने, “साँच्चै यिनी त परमेश्वरका पुत्र रहेछन् ।”BSBBSB: When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified and said, “Truly this was the Son of God.”
55. 55NPIULBगालीलबाट येशूको हेरचाह गर्न उहाँलाई पछ्याइरहेका धेरै महिलाहरूले टाढाबाट त्यो हेरिरहेका थिए ।BSBBSB: And many women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to minister to Him.
56. 56NPIULBतिनीहरूमध्ये मरियम मग्दलिनी, याकूब र योसेफकी आमा मरियम, र जब्दियाका छोराहरूकी आमा थिए ।BSBBSB: Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.
57. 57NPIULBजब साँझ पर्यो, अरिमाथियाबाट एक जना धनी मानिस आए, जसको नाम योसेफ थियो, जो येशूका चेला थिए ।BSBBSB: When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea named Joseph, who himself was a disciple of Jesus.
58. 58NPIULBतिनी पिलातसकहाँ गए र तिनले येशूको शरीर मागे । अनि पिलातसले सो तिनलाई दिइयोस् भनेर आदेश दिए ।BSBBSB: He went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him.
59. 59NPIULBयोसेफले शरीर लिए, र त्यसलाई सफा मलमलको कपडामा बेरे,BSBBSB: So Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,
60. 60NPIULBर उनले आफैँले चट्टान खोपेर बनाएका नयाँ चिहानमा राखे । अनि उनले चिहानको मुखमा एउटा ठुलो ढुङ्गा गुडाइदिएर तिनी त्यहाँबाट गए ।BSBBSB: and placed it in his own new tomb that he had cut into the rock. Then he rolled a great stone across the entrance to the tomb and went away.
61. 61NPIULBमरियम मग्दिलिनी र अर्की मरियम पनि त्यही चिहानको अर्कोपट्टि बसिरहेका थिए ।BSBBSB: Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb.
62. 62NPIULBअर्को दिन जुन तयारीको दिनको भोलिपल्ट थियो, मुख्य पुजारीहरू र फरिसीहरू पिलातससँग भेला भएका थिए ।BSBBSB: The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and Pharisees assembled before Pilate.
63. 63NPIULBतिनीहरूले भने, “हजुर, हामीलाई सम्झना छ, कि त्यो ठगाहा जिउँदो हुँदा त्यसले भनेको थियो, ‘तिन दिनपछि म फेरि उठ्नेछु ।’BSBBSB: “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while He was alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’
64. 64NPIULBत्यसकारण, तेस्रो दिनसम्म त्यो चिहान सुरक्षित राख्नलाई हुकुम गर्नुहोस् । नत्रता त्यसका चेलाहरू आउलान् र उनलाई चोरेर लगेर मानिसहरूलाई भन्लान्, ‘उहाँ मृतकहरूबाट जीवित हुनुभएको छ ।’ अनि यो अन्तिम धोका पहिलेको भन्दा झन् नराम्रो हुनेछ ।”BSBBSB: So give the order that the tomb be secured until the third day. Otherwise, His disciples may come and steal Him away and tell the people He has risen from the dead. And this last deception would be worse than the first.”
65. 65NPIULBपिलातसले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “एक जना पहरेदार लेऊ । जाऊ र त्यसलाई तिमीहरूले सकेसम्म सुरक्षित राख ।”BSBBSB: “You have a guard,” Pilate said. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.”
66. 66NPIULBत्यसैले, तिनीहरू गए र ढुङ्गामा मोहर लगाए र पहरेदारहरू खटाएर चिहानलाई सुरक्षित राखे ।BSBBSB: So they went and secured the tomb by sealing the stone and posting the guard.
