1. 1CCLNdipo anawoloka nyanja napita ku dera la Gerasa.BSBBSB: On the other side of the sea, they arrived in the region of the Gerasenes.
2. 2CCLYesu atatuluka mʼbwato, munthu amene anali ndi mzimu woyipa anachoka ku manda ndi kukumana naye.BSBBSB: As soon as Jesus got out of the boat, He was met by a man with an unclean spirit, who was coming from the tombs.
3. 3CCLMunthuyu amakhala ku manda, ndipo panalibe amene akanatha kumumanganso ngakhale ndi unyolo.BSBBSB: This man had been living in the tombs and could no longer be restrained, even with chains.
4. 4CCLPakuti nthawi zambiri akamumanga manja ndi miyendo amadula maunyolo ndi kudula zitsulo zimene zinali mʼmapazi ake. Panalibe amene anali ndi mphamvu yoti ndi kumugonjetsa.BSBBSB: Though he was often bound with chains and shackles, he had broken the chains and shattered the shackles. Now there was no one with the strength to subdue him.
5. 5CCLUsana ndi usiku ankakhala ku manda ndi kumapiri, akulira ndi kudzicheka ndi miyala.BSBBSB: Night and day in the tombs and in the mountains he kept crying out and cutting himself with stones.
6. 6CCLAtaona Yesu ali patali, anathamanga nagwa pa mawondo ake pamaso pake.BSBBSB: When the man saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees before Him.
7. 7CCLIye anafuwula kwambiri nati, “Mukufuna muchite nane chiyani, Yesu Mwana wa Mulungu Wammwambamwamba? Lumbirani kwa Mulungu kuti simundizunza!”BSBBSB: And he shouted in a loud voice, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You before God not to torture me!”
8. 8CCLPakuti Yesu anati kwa iye, “Tuluka mwa munthuyu, iwe mzimu woyipa!”BSBBSB: For Jesus had already declared, “Come out of this man, you unclean spirit!”
9. 9CCLNdipo Yesu anamufunsa iye, “Dzina lako ndani?” Iye anayankha kuti, “Dzina langa ndine Legiyo, pakuti tilipo ambiri.”BSBBSB: “What is your name?” Jesus asked. “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”

12. 12CCLZiwandazo zinapempha Yesu kuti, “Titumizeni pakati pa nkhumbazo; ndipo mutilole tilowe mwa izo.”BSBBSB: So the demons begged Jesus, “Send us to the pigs, so that we may enter them.”
13. 13CCLIye anazipatsa chilolezo, ndipo mizimu yoyipayo inatuluka ndi kukalowa mu nkhumbazo. Gulu la nkhumba, zokwana pafupifupi 2,000 zinathamanga kutsetserekera ku nyanja ndipo zinamira.BSBBSB: He gave them permission, and the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs, and the herd of about two thousand rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the water.
14. 14CCLOmwe amaweta nkhumbazo anathawa ndi kukawuza anthu za izi mu mzinda ndi ku madera a ku midzi, ndipo anthu anapita kukaona zomwe zinachitika.BSBBSB: Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened.
15. 15CCLAtafika kwa Yesu, anaona munthu amene anagwidwa ndi ziwanda zambiri uja atakhala pansi pomwepo, atavala, ndipo ali bwinobwino. Iwo anachita mantha.BSBBSB: When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons sitting there, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
16. 16CCLAmene anaona zimenezi anawuza anthu zomwe zinachitika kwa munthu wogwidwa ndi ziwandayo ndipo anawawuzanso za nkhumbazo.BSBBSB: Those who had seen it described what had happened to the demon-possessed man and also to the pigs.
17. 17CCLNdipo anthu anayamba kumupempha Yesu kuti achoke mʼdera lawo.BSBBSB: And the people began to beg Jesus to leave their region.
18. 18CCLYesu akulowa mʼbwato, munthu amene anagwidwa ndi ziwanda uja anamupempha kuti apite nawo.BSBBSB: As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been possessed by the demons begged to go with Him.
19. 19CCLYesu sanamulole, koma anati, “Pita kwanu ku banja lako ndipo ukawawuze zimene Ambuye wakuchitira, ndi chifundo chimene wakuchitira.”BSBBSB: But Jesus would not allow him. “Go home to your own people,” He said, “and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy He has shown you.”
20. 20CCLPomwepo munthuyo anapita nayamba kuwuza anthu a ku Dekapoli zinthu zimene Yesu anamuchitira. Ndipo anthu onse anadabwa.BSBBSB: So the man went away and began to proclaim throughout the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.

Please come and place Your hands on her, so that she will be healed and live.”
24. 24CCLNdipo Yesu anapita naye. Gulu lalikulu la anthu linamutsata ndi kumamupanikiza Iye.BSBBSB: So Jesus went with him, and a large crowd followed and pressed around Him.
25. 25CCLPomwepo panali mayi amene amadwala nthenda yotaya magazi kwa zaka khumi ndi ziwiri.BSBBSB: And a woman was there who had suffered from bleeding for twelve years.
26. 26CCLIye anavutika kwambiri pamene asingʼanga ambiri ankamusamalira ndipo anagwiritsa ntchito zonse anali nazo, koma mʼmalo mochira, nthenda yake inkakulakulabe.BSBBSB: She had borne much agony under the care of many physicians and had spent all she had, but to no avail. Instead, her condition had only grown worse.
27. 27CCLAtamva za Yesu, anabwera kumbuyo kwake mʼgulu la anthu ndipo anakhudza mkanjo wake,BSBBSB: When the woman heard about Jesus, she came up through the crowd behind Him and touched His cloak.
28. 28CCLchifukwa anaganiza kuti, “Ngati nditangokhudza mkanjo wake, ndidzachiritsidwa.”BSBBSB: For she kept saying, “If only I touch His garments, I will be healed.”
29. 29CCLNthawi yomweyo magazi ake analeka kutuluka ndipo anamva mʼthupi mwake kuti wamasulidwa ku vuto lake.BSBBSB: Immediately her bleeding stopped, and she sensed in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
30. 30CCLPomwepo Yesu anazindikira kuti mphamvu inachoka mʼthupi mwake. Anatembenuka mʼgulu la anthu ndipo anafunsa kuti, “Ndani wakhudza zovala zanga?”BSBBSB: At once Jesus was aware that power had gone out from Him. Turning to the crowd, He asked, “Who touched My garments?”
31. 31CCLOphunzira ake anayankha kuti, “Mukuona kuti anthu akukupanikizani, ndipo Inu mukufunsa kuti, ‘Ndani wandikhudza?’ ”BSBBSB: His disciples answered, “You can see the crowd pressing in on You, and yet You ask, ‘Who touched Me?’”

33. 33CCLKenaka mayi uja pozindikira chimene chinamuchitikira, anabwera ndi kugwa pa mapazi ake, ndipo akunjenjemera ndi mantha, anamuwuza zoona zokhazokha.BSBBSB: Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him trembling in fear, and she told Him the whole truth.
34. 34CCLAnati kwa iye, “Mwana wamkazi, chikhulupiriro chako chakuchiritsa. Pita mu mtendere ndipo khala womasulidwa ku mavuto ako.”BSBBSB: “Daughter,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be free of your affliction.”
35. 35CCLPamene Yesu ankayankhulabe, amuna ena anafika kuchokera ku nyumba ya Yairo, mkulu wa sunagoge. Iwo anati, “Mwana wanu wamkazi wamwalira, muvutitsiranjinso aphunzitsiwa?”BSBBSB: While He was still speaking, messengers from the house of Jairus arrived and said, “Your daughter is dead; why bother the Teacher anymore?”
36. 36CCLPosasamala zomwe ananena, Yesu anamuwuza mkulu wa sunagoge uja kuti, “Usachite mantha; ingokhulupirira.”BSBBSB: But Jesus overheard their conversation and said to Jairus, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”
37. 37CCLIye sanalole munthu wina aliyense kuti amutsatire koma Petro, Yakobo ndi Yohane mʼbale wa Yakobo.BSBBSB: And He did not allow anyone to accompany Him except Peter, James, and John the brother of James.
38. 38CCLAtafika ku nyumba ya mkulu wa sunagoge, Yesu anaona chipiringu cha anthu akulira ndi kufuwula kwambiri.BSBBSB: When they arrived at the house of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw the commotion and the people weeping and wailing loudly.
39. 39CCLAnalowa nati kwa iwo, “Mukuchita phokoso ndi kulira chifukwa chiyani? Mwanayu sanamwalire koma ali mtulo.”BSBBSB: He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child is not dead, but asleep.”
40. 40CCLKoma anamuseka Iye. Atawatulutsa onse panja, Iye anatenga abambo ndi amayi ake a mwanayo ndi ophunzira omwe anali naye, ndipo analowa mʼmene munali mwanayo.BSBBSB: And they laughed at Him. After He had put them all outside, He took the child’s father and mother and His own companions, and went in to see the child.
41. 41CCLAnagwira dzanja lake nanena kwa iye, “Talita Kumi!” (Kutanthauza kuti, “Mtsikana, ndikunena ndi iwe, imirira!”)BSBBSB: Taking her by the hand, Jesus said, “Talitha koum!” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”
42. 42CCLNthawi yomweyo anayimirira nayenda mozungulira (anali wa zaka khumi ndi ziwiri). Pa ichi onse anadabwa kwambiri.BSBBSB: Immediately the girl got up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). And at once they were utterly astounded.
43. 43CCLAnawalamulira kwambiri kuti asawuze wina aliyense za ichi, ndipo anawawuza kuti amupatse kanthu koti adye.BSBBSB: Then Jesus gave strict orders that no one should know about this, and He told them to give her something to eat.
