1 UDB ଅତଏବ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଏହି ସେବକପଦ ପାଇବାରୁ ସାହସବିହୀନ ନୋହୁଁ, BSB BSB: Therefore, since God in His mercy has given us this ministry, we do not lose heart.
2 UDB ମାତ୍ର ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜାଜନକ ଗୁପ୍ତ ବିଷୟସବୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଅଛୁ; ଏଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଧୁର୍ତ୍ତତାରେ ଆଚରଣ କରୁ ନାହୁଁ ଅବା ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ଛଳରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରୁ ନାହୁଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଯାହା ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ଆମେ ଶପଥ କରି ନାହୁଁ। ସତ୍ୟ ପ୍ରକାଶ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ବିବେକ ନିକଟରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ଦେଖାଉଅଛୁ। BSB BSB: Instead, we have renounced secret and shameful ways. We do not practice deceit, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by open proclamation of the truth, we commend ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.
3 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦ୍ୟପି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସୁସମାଚାର ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ଥାଏ, ତାହା ବିନାଶପ୍ରାପ୍ତମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ; BSB BSB: And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
4 UDB ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ଯେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଗୌରବମୟ ସୁସମାଚାରର ଆଲୋକ ଯେପରି ଏହି ପ୍ରକାର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ନ ହୁଏ, ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହି ଜଗତ୍ପତି ଅବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କର ଜ୍ଞାନଚକ୍ଷୁ ଅନ୍ଧ କରିଅଛି। BSB BSB: The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
5 UDB କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ପ୍ରଚାର କରୁ ନାହୁଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଯୀଶୁ ଯେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ପୁଣି, ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ସକାଶେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସେବକ, ଏହା ପ୍ରଚାର କରୁ। BSB BSB: For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 UDB ଯେଣୁ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରୁ ଦୀପ୍ତି ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଉ ବୋଲି ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଥିଲେ ଯେଉଁ ଈଶ୍ୱର, ସେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ମୁଖରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୌରବମୟ ଜ୍ଞାନର ଆଲୋକ ଦେଖାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟରେ ଆଲୋକ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 UDB ମାତ୍ର ମହାଶକ୍ତି ଯେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର, ପୁଣି, ତାହା ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ନୁହେଁ, ଏହା ଯେପରି ପ୍ରକାଶ ପାଏ, ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏହି ଧନ ମୃତ୍ତିକା ପାତ୍ରରେ ପାଇଅଛୁ; BSB BSB: Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great power is from God and not from us.
8 UDB ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାର କ୍ଳେଶଭୋଗ କରୁଅଛୁ, ତଥାପି ବିନଷ୍ଟ ନୋହୁଁ; ହତବୁଦ୍ଧି ହେଉଅଛୁ, ତଥାପି ନିରାଶ ନୋହୁଁ; BSB BSB: We are hard pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
9 UDB ତାଡ଼ନା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଉଅଛୁ, ତଥାପି ପରିତ୍ୟକ୍ତ ନୋହୁଁ; ଅଧଃପତିତ ହେଉଅଛୁ, ତଥାପି ପୁନର୍ବାର ଉଠିଛୁ। BSB BSB: persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.
10 UDB ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସର୍ବଦା ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁଭୋଗ ଶରୀରରେ ଅନୁଭବ କରୁଅଛୁ, ଯେପରି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶରୀରରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହୁଏ। BSB BSB: We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11 UDB କାରଣ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମର୍ତ୍ତ୍ୟ ଶରୀରରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହୁଏ, ମାତ୍ର ଆମ ଶରୀର ପୁଣି ବଞ୍ଚିବ, କାରଣ ଯୀଶୁ ଜୀବିତ ଅଟନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: For we who are alive are always consigned to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal body.
12 UDB ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରେ ଜୀବନ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସାଧନ କରୁଅଛି। BSB BSB: So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
13 UDB “ମୁଁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲି, ଏଣୁ କଥା କହିଲି,” ଏହି ଲିଖିତ ବାକ୍ୟ ଅନୁସାରେ ସେହି ବିଶ୍ୱାସଜନକ ଆତ୍ମା ପାଇଥିବାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରୁ, ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବିଷୟରେ କଥା କହୁ; BSB BSB: And in keeping with what is written, “I believed, therefore I have spoken,” we who have the same spirit of faith also believe and therefore speak,
14 UDB କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣୁ, ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଯେ ଉଠାଇଲେ, ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଉଠାଇବେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ କରାଇବେ। BSB BSB: knowing that the One who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you in His presence.
15 UDB ମୋହର ଦୁଃଖଭୋଗ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଟେ। ସେହିପରି ଅନେକ ଲୋକଙ୍କଠାରେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଅତ୍ୟଧିକ ପ୍ରେମ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେବ ଏବଂ ସେମାନେ ଅଧିକରୁ ଅଧିକ ତାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବେ। BSB BSB: All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is extending to more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow, to the glory of God.
16 UDB ତେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କ୍ଳାନ୍ତ ହେଉ ନାହୁଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବାହ୍ୟିକ ପୁରୁଷ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇଲେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଆନ୍ତରିକ ପୁରୁଷ ଦିନକୁ ଦିନ ନୂତନୀକୃତ ହେଉଅଛି। BSB BSB: Therefore we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, yet our inner self is being renewed day by day.
17 UDB କାରଣ ଏହି କ୍ଷଣକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଲଘୁ କ୍ଳେଶ ଅତ୍ୟଧିକ ବାହୁଲ୍ୟ ରୂପେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଅବର୍ଣ୍ଣନୀୟ ମହା ଗୌରବ ସାଧନ କରୁଅଛି; BSB BSB: For our light and momentary affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory that is far beyond comparison.
18 UDB ଯେଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ବିଷୟ ପ୍ରତି ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ନ କରି ଅଦୃଶ୍ୟ ବିଷୟ ପ୍ରତି ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରୁଅଛୁ; କାରଣ ଦୃଶ୍ୟ ବିଷୟ କ୍ଷଣକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଅଦୃଶ୍ୟ ବିଷୟ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ। BSB BSB: So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
