2 UDB ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ସେହି ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ରାଜି ନ ହୋଇ ବହୁତ ଯୁକ୍ତି କଲେ। ଏହି ବିଷୟରେ ବିଚ଼ାର ଆଲୋଚ଼ନା ଲାଗି ପାଉଲ, ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ କେତେକ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ପ୍ରେରିତ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚ଼ୀନମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯାଇ ଆଲୋଚନା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତି ଦିଆଗଲା। BSB BSB: And after engaging these men in sharp debate, Paul and Barnabas were appointed, along with some other believers, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question.
3 UDB ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟୀୟ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବାଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଗଲା। ସେମାନେ ଫୈନୀକିଆ ଓ ଶମିରୋଣ ଦେଇଗଲେ। ଅନ୍ୟ ଜାତୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ କିପରି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମନ ଫେରାଇଛନ୍ତି, ଏହା ସେମାନେ ସେଠାରେ କହିଲେ। ଏହା ଶୁଣି ସେହି ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟିୟାନମାନେ ବହୁତ ଖୁସି ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: Sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, recounting the conversion of the Gentiles and bringing great joy to all the brothers.
4 UDB ଯେତେବେଳେ ପାଉଲ, ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ଓ ଅନ୍ୟମାନେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଲେ। ପ୍ରେରିତ, ପ୍ରାଚ଼ୀନ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ସେଠାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ୱାଗତ କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କିପରି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଭାବରେ ଅଣ-ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବ୍ୟବହାର କଲେ ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ଜଣାଇଲେ I BSB BSB: On their arrival in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and apostles and elders, to whom they reported all that God had done through them.
5 UDB କିନ୍ତୁ ଫାରୂଶୀମାନଙ୍କ ଦଳର କେତେକ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ଲୋକ ଠିଆ ହୋଇ କହିଲେ, "ଅନ୍ୟ ଜାତୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତରୂପେ ସୁନ୍ନତ ହେବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ ଓ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ମାନିବାକୁ ପଡ଼ିବ।" BSB BSB: But some believers from the party of the Pharisees stood up and declared, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses.”
6 UDB ପରେ ପ୍ରେରିତ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚ଼ୀନମାନେ ଏ ସମସ୍ୟା ଉପରେ ବିଚ଼ାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଏକତ୍ରୀତ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: So the apostles and elders met to look into this matter.
7 UDB ବହୁତ ବାଦବିବାଦ ପରେ ପିତର ଠିଆ ହେଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, "ଭାଇମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣ ଯେ, ଅନ୍ୟଜାତୀୟମାନେ ଯେପରି ସୁସମାଚ଼ାର ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ଶୁଣିପାରନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହା ଶୁଣି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିପାରନ୍ତି, ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ବହୁତ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ମୋତେ ବାଛିଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: After much discussion, Peter got up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you that the Gentiles would hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.
8 UDB ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତରର ଭାବନା ଜାଣନ୍ତି। ସେ ସେହି ଅନ୍ୟ ଜାତୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ। ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଯେପରି ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ସେପରି ଅନ୍ୟଜାତୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ଦାନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: And God, who knows the heart, showed His approval by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as He did to us.
9 UDB ଏହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କୌଣସି ଭେଦଭାବ ରଖିଲେ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କର ହୃଦୟକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କରିଲେ ଓ ଏହି ପରି ଭାବରେ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପାପ ସବୁ କ୍ଷମା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି I BSB BSB: He made no distinction between us and them, for He cleansed their hearts by faith.
10 UDB ତେଣୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କାହିଁକି ଅଣ ଯିହୁଦୀ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ପାଳନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବାଧ୍ୟ କରୁଅଛ? ଏହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କ କାନ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଆଳି ରଖୁଅଛ I ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କିମ୍ବା ଆମ୍ଭର ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନେ ତ ଏହି ଯୁଆଳି ଭାର ସହି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହା ଦ୍ୱାରା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରୁଛ? BSB BSB: Now then, why do you test God by placing on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear?
11 UDB ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣୁ ଯେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି I ସେହିପରି ଅଣ-ଯିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ରକ୍ଷା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି I BSB BSB: On the contrary, we believe it is through the grace of the Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”
12 UDB ପିତର କହିଲା ପରେ ସମସ୍ତେ ନୀରବ ହୋଇଗଲେ। ପରେ ସେମାନେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ଓ ପାଉଲଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣିଲେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅନ୍ୟ ଜାତୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଜରିଆରେ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କର୍ମ ଓ ଚ଼ିହ୍ନମାନ କହିଥିଲେ ସେ ସବୁ ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କଲେ। BSB BSB: The whole assembly fell silent as they listened to Barnabas and Paul describing the signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.
14 UDB ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କିପରି ପ୍ରଥମ ଥର ଅନ୍ୟ ଜାତୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ନିଜର ପ୍ରେମ ଦେଖାଇଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ତାହାଙ୍କର ଲୋକରେ ପରିଣତ କଲେ, ତାହା ଶିମୋନ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Simon has told us how God first visited the Gentiles to take from them a people to be His own.
15 UDB ଏହା ଭାବବାଦୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହିକଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏକମତ। BSB BSB: The words of the prophets agree with this, as it is written:
16 UDB "ଏହା ପରେ ମୁଁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଫେରି ଆସିବି ଏବଂ ଦାଉଦର ବଂଶରୁ ଜଣକୁ ରାଜା କରିବି ଓ ଭଗ୍ନଗୃହ ପୁଣି ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିବି। ମୁଁ ଏହାର ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଯାଇଥିବା ଅଂଶ ପୁଣି ଥରେ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରିଦେବି। BSB BSB: ‘After this I will return and rebuild the fallen tent of David. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it,
17 UDB ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି," ମୁଁ ଏପରି କରିବି ଯେ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ମାନବଜାତି ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜାତୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋ’ ନାମରେ ପରିଚ଼ିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ଖୋଜିବେ।" BSB BSB: so that the remnant of men may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does these things
18 UDB ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟଣା ଘଟାନ୍ତି, ସେ ନିଜେ ଏହା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି। ଏହା ଯୁଗ ଆରମ୍ଭରୁ ଜଣାଅଛି।' BSB BSB: that have been known for ages.’
20 UDB ଏହା ବଦଳରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଲେଖିବା ଉଚ଼ିତ ଯେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚାରୋଟି ବିଷୟ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ: ଦେବତାକୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ଅନ୍ୟଜଣକ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସହିତ ଶୟନ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ, ବେକ ଚିପି ମରା ଯାଇଥିବା ପଶୁର ମାଂସ ଭୋଜନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ଓ ପଶୁର ରକ୍ତ ଖାଇବ ନାହିଁ I BSB BSB: Instead, we should write and tell them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals, and from blood.
22 UDB ଏହାପରେ ପ୍ରେରିତ, ପ୍ରାଚ଼ୀନ ଓ ସମଗ୍ର ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କ କଥାକୁ ସମର୍ଥନ କଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେତେକ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବାଛି ପାଉଲ ଓ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆକୁ ପଠାଇବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଥିର କଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଯିହୁଦା ଯାହାଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୟ ନାମ ଥିଲା, ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ଓ ଶୀଲାଙ୍କୁ ବାଛିଲେ। ଏହିମାନେ ଯିରୁଶାଲମର ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନେତା ଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided to select men from among them to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They chose Judas called Barsabbas and Silas, two leaders among the brothers,
23 UDB ସେମାନେ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଶୀଲାଙ୍କ ହାତରେ ଏହି ଚ଼ିଠିଟିକୁ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆର ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ:"ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରେରିତ ଓ ପ୍ରାଚୀନ ମାନେ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆରେ ଓ ସୁରିଆ ଓ କିଲିକିଆରେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀଙ୍କୁ ଆମର ନମସ୍କାର I BSB BSB: and sent them with this letter: The apostles and the elders, your brothers, To the brothers among the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings.
24 UDB ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଲୁ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଭିତରୁ କେତେକ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଆଦେଶ ନପାଇ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଥା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଅସୁବିଧାରେ ପକାଇଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବ୍ୟତିବ୍ୟସ୍ତ କରୁଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: It has come to our attention that some went out from us without our authorization and unsettled you, troubling your minds by what they said.
25 UDB ଏହା ଶୁଣିଲା ପରେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇ କେତେକ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ବାଛିଛୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରିୟ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବ୍ବା ଓ ପାଉଲଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପଠାଇବୁ। BSB BSB: So we all agreed to choose men to send to you along with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
26 UDB ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା ଓ ପାଉଲ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ନାମ ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଜୀବନକୁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ସେବା କରନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
27 UDB ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଶୀଲାଙ୍କୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ପଠାଇଲୁ। ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୌଖିକ ଭାବେ ଏହି ସବୁ କଥା କହିବେ। BSB BSB: Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to tell you in person the same things we are writing.
29 UDB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିଗୁଡ଼ିକ ନିକଟରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇବ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ରକ୍ତ ପିଇବ ନାହିଁ। ତଣ୍ଟି ଚ଼ିପି ମରାଯାଇଥିବା ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖାଇବ ନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନ୍ୟ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସହିତ ଶୟନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ I ଏ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟରୁ ଯଦି ନିବୃତ ରହିବ ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଠିକ୍ ଜୀବନ ଯାପନ କରୁଛ I BSB BSB: You must abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals, and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things. Farewell.
30 UDB ତା'ପରେ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣବା, ପାଉଲ, ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଶୀଲା ଯିରୂଶାଲମରୁ ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆକୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ। ସେଠାରେ ସେମାନେ ଏକାଠି ହୋଇଥିବା ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପତ୍ର ଦେଲେ। BSB BSB: So the men were sent off and went down to Antioch, where they assembled the congregation and delivered the letter.
31 UDB ଆନ୍ତିୟଖିଆର ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ ପତ୍ର ପଢ଼ି ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେଲେ। କାରଣ ଏହା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉତ୍ସାହିତ କରିଥିଲା। BSB BSB: When the people read it, they rejoiced at its encouraging message.
32 UDB ଯିହୁଦା ଓ ଶୀଲା ଦୁହେଁ ଭାବବାଦୀ ଥିବାରୁ ଅନେକ କଥା କହିଲେ ଓ ଭାଇମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ସାହ ଦେଇ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟୀୟ ବିଶ୍ୱାସରେ ଶକ୍ତିଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ। BSB BSB: Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the brothers.
