1 ULB ପୁଣି, ହାନ୍ନା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରି କହିଲା; ମୋହର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ମହାଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରୁଅଛି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ମୋହର ଶୃଙ୍ଗ ଉନ୍ନତ ହୋଇଅଛି; ମୋହର ମୁଖ ମୋର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଖୋଲିଅଛି; ଯେହେତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରିତ୍ରାଣରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରେ। BSB BSB: At that time Hannah prayed: “My heart rejoices in the LORD; my horn is exalted in the LORD. My mouth speaks boldly against my enemies, for I rejoice in Your salvation.
2 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପବିତ୍ର ଆଉ କେହି ନାହିଁ; ଯେହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଭିନ୍ନ ଆଉ କେହି ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ଶୈଳ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: There is no one holy like the LORD. Indeed, there is no one besides You! And there is no Rock like our God.
3 ULB ଏପରି ଅତି ଅହଙ୍କାରରେ ଆଉ କଥା ନ କୁହ; ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ଦାମ୍ଭିକତା ନିର୍ଗତ ନ ହେଉ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସର୍ବଜ୍ଞ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଅଟନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସକଳ କ୍ରିୟା ତୌଲାଯାଏ। BSB BSB: Do not boast so proudly, or let arrogance come from your mouth, for the LORD is a God who knows, and by Him actions are weighed.
4 ULB ବୀରମାନଙ୍କର ଧନୁ ଭଙ୍ଗାଯାଇଅଛି ଓ ଝୁଣ୍ଟି ପଡ଼ିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କଟି ବଳରେ ବନ୍ଧାଯାଇଅଛି। BSB BSB: The bows of the mighty are broken, but the feeble are equipped with strength.
5 ULB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଆପେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବେତନଜୀବୀ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ କ୍ଷୁଧିତ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ପାଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ହଁ, ବନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ସପ୍ତ ସନ୍ତାନ ପ୍ରସବ କରିଅଛି ଓ ଯାହାର ଅନେକ ସନ୍ତାନସନ୍ତତି ଥିଲେ, ସେ ନିସ୍ତେଜ ହେଉଅଛି। BSB BSB: The well-fed hire themselves out for food, but the starving hunger no more. The barren woman gives birth to seven, but she who has many sons pines away.
6 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁ ଘଟାନ୍ତି ଓ ସଜୀବ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ପାତାଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆଣନ୍ତି ଓ ଉପରକୁ ଉଠାଇ ନିଅନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The LORD brings death and gives life; He brings down to Sheol and raises up.
7 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଧନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଧନବାନ କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ନତ କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଉନ୍ନତ କରନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The LORD sends poverty and wealth; He humbles and He exalts.
8 ULB ସେ କୁଳୀନମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବସାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଓ ଗୌରବ ସିଂହାସନ ଅଧିକାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଧୂଳିରୁ ଦୀନହୀନକୁ ଉଠାନ୍ତି ଓ ଦରିଦ୍ରକୁ ଖତରାଶିରୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରନ୍ତି; କାରଣ ପୃଥିବୀର ସ୍ତମ୍ଭସକଳ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଓ ସେ ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ଜଗତ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap. He seats them among princes and bestows on them a throne of honor. For the foundations of the earth are the LORD’s, and upon them He has set the world.
9 ULB ସେ ଆପଣା ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଚରଣ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ; ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ନୀରବ କରାଯିବେ; ଯେହେତୁ କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ବଳରେ ଜୟୀ ହୋଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: He guards the steps of His faithful ones, but the wicked perish in darkness; for by his own strength shall no man prevail.
10 ULB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସହିତ ବିବାଦ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଭଗ୍ନ ହେବେ; ସେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ଥାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ କରିବେ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତଭାଗ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଶାସନ କରିବେ ଓ ସେ ଆପଣା ରାଜାକୁ ବଳ ଦେବେ, ପୁଣି, ଆପଣା ଅଭିଷେକୀଙ୍କ ଶୃଙ୍ଗ ଉନ୍ନତ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: Those who oppose the LORD will be shattered. He will thunder from heaven against them. The LORD will judge the ends of the earth and will give power to His king. He will exalt the horn of His anointed.”
11 ULB ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ଇଲ୍କାନା ରାମାସ୍ଥିତ ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଗଲା। ପୁଣି, ବାଳକ ଏଲି ଯାଜକଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଥାଇ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପରିଚର୍ଯ୍ୟା କଲା। BSB BSB: Then Elkanah went home to Ramah, but the boy began ministering to the LORD before Eli the priest.
12 ULB ଏଲିଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଜାଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Now the sons of Eli were wicked men; they had no regard for the LORD
13 ULB ସେହି ଯାଜକମାନେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଏପରି ବ୍ୟବହାର କରୁଥିଲେ ଯେ, କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ବଳିଦାନ କଲେ, ମାଂସ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେବା ସମୟରେ ଯାଜକର ଦାସ ହସ୍ତରେ ତ୍ରିଶୂଳ ଘେନି ଆସେ; BSB BSB: or for the custom of the priests with the people. When any man offered a sacrifice, the servant of the priest would come with a three-pronged meat fork while the meat was boiling
14 ULB ଆଉ ସେ ପାତ୍ର, ବା ତସଲା, ବା ହଣ୍ଡା, ବା କହ୍ରାଇ ଭିତରେ ମାରେ; ଯେତେକ ତ୍ରିଶୂଳରେ ଆସେ, ସେସବୁ ଯାଜକ ନିଏ। ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ଶୀଲୋକୁ ଆସିଲେ, ସେଠାରେ ସେମାନେ ସେସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଏହିପରି କରୁଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: and plunge it into the pan or kettle or cauldron or cooking pot. And the priest would claim for himself whatever the meat fork brought up. This is how they treated all the Israelites who came to Shiloh.
15 ULB ଆହୁରି ମେଦ ଦଗ୍ଧ କରିବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଯାଜକର ଦାସ ବଳିଦାନକାରୀ ଲୋକ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି କହେ, ଯାଜକ ପାଇଁ ମାଂସ ଦିଅ; କାରଣ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ସିଦ୍ଧ ମାଂସ ନେବେ ନାହିଁ, କଞ୍ଚା ନେବେ। BSB BSB: Even before the fat was burned, the servant of the priest would come and say to the man who was sacrificing, “Give the priest some meat to roast, because he will not accept boiled meat from you, but only raw.”
16 ULB ଏଥିରେ ଯେବେ ସେ ଲୋକ ତାହାକୁ କହେ, ମେଦ ଏହିକ୍ଷଣି ଦଗ୍ଧ ହେବ, ତହିଁ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରାଣ ଯେତେ ଚାହେଁ ସେତେ ନିଅ; ତେବେ ସେ ଉତ୍ତର କରେ, ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଏହିକ୍ଷଣି ତାହା ମୋତେ ଦେବାକୁ ହେବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନ ଦେଲେ ତାହା ବଳରେ ନେବି। BSB BSB: And if any man said to him, “The fat must be burned first; then you may take whatever you want,” the servant would reply, “No, you must give it to me right now. If you refuse, I will take it by force!”
17 ULB ଏରୂପେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ସେହି ଯୁବା ଲୋକଙ୍କର ପାପ ଅତି ଭାରୀ ହେଲା; କାରଣ ସେହି ଲୋକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ତୁଚ୍ଛଜ୍ଞାନ କଲେ। BSB BSB: Thus the sin of these young men was severe in the sight of the LORD, for they were treating the LORD’s offering with contempt.
18 ULB ସେସମୟରେ ଶାମୁୟେଲ ବାଳକ ଶୁକ୍ଳ ଏଫୋଦ ପିନ୍ଧି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପରିଚର୍ଯ୍ୟା କଲେ। BSB BSB: Now Samuel was ministering before the LORD—a boy wearing a linen ephod.
19 ULB ଆହୁରି ତାଙ୍କର ମାତା ପ୍ରତି ବର୍ଷ ଆପଣା ସ୍ୱାମୀ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବାର୍ଷିକ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିବା ବେଳେ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଗୋଟିଏ ସାନ ଚୋଗା ବନାଇ ତାଙ୍କ କତିକି ଆଣିଥାଏ। BSB BSB: Each year his mother would make him a little robe and bring it to him when she went with her husband to offer the annual sacrifice.
20 ULB ପୁଣି, ଏଲି ଇଲ୍କାନାକୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟାକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରି କହିଲେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଯାହା ନିବେଦିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, ସେହି ନିବେଦନ ସକାଶୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସନ୍ତାନ ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: And Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, “May the LORD give you children by this woman in place of the one she dedicated to the LORD.” Then they would go home.
21 ULB ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଫେରିଗଲେ। ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ହାନ୍ନାର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱାବଧାରଣ କଲେ ଓ ସେ ଗର୍ଭଧାରଣ କରି ତିନି ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ଦୁଇ କନ୍ୟା ପ୍ରସବ କଲେ। ଏଥି ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶାମୁୟେଲ ବାଳକ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ବଢ଼ିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। BSB BSB: So the LORD attended to Hannah, and she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, the boy Samuel grew up in the presence of the LORD.
22 ULB ଏଲି ଅତି ବୃଦ୍ଧ ହେଲେ; ପୁଣି, ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ ସମୁଦାୟ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା ଯାହା କଲେ ଓ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁ ଦ୍ୱାର ନିକଟରେ ସେବାକାରିଣୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀଗଣ ସହିତ କିପରି ଶୟନ କଲେ, ଏସବୁ କଥା ସେ ଶୁଣିଲେ। BSB BSB: Now Eli was very old, and he heard about everything his sons were doing to all Israel and how they were sleeping with the women who served at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
23 ULB ତହୁଁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କାହିଁକି ଏପରି କଥା କରୁଅଛ? କାରଣ ମୁଁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କଠାରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ନାନା ମନ୍ଦ କଥା ଶୁଣୁଅଛି। BSB BSB: “Why are you doing these things?” Eli said to his sons. “I hear about your wicked deeds from all these people.
24 ULB ନାହିଁ, ନାହିଁ, ମୋହର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ, ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁ ଜନରବ ଶୁଣୁଅଛି, ତାହା ଭଲ ନୁହେଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଜ୍ଞାଲଂଘନ କରାଉଅଛ। BSB BSB: No, my sons; it is not a good report I hear circulating among the LORD’s people.
25 ULB ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଯଦି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାପ କରେ, ତେବେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ତାହାର ବିଚାର କରିବେ; ମାତ୍ର ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଯଦି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପାପ କରେ, ତେବେ କିଏ ତାହା ପକ୍ଷରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବ? ତଥାପି ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ପିତାଙ୍କ ରବ ଶୁଣିଲେ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବାକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଇଚ୍ଛା ଥିଲା। BSB BSB: If a man sins against another man, God can intercede for him; but if a man sins against the LORD, who can intercede for him?” But they would not listen to their father, since the LORD intended to put them to death.
26 ULB ମାତ୍ର ବାଳକ ଶାମୁୟେଲ କ୍ରମେ କ୍ରମେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଓ ମଧ୍ୟ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: And the boy Samuel continued to grow in stature and in favor with the LORD and with man.
27 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ଏକ ଲୋକ ଏଲିଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ତାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତୃଗୃହ ମିସରରେ ଫାରୋର ଦାସତ୍ୱରେ ଥିଲେ, ସେସମୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ କି ପ୍ରତ୍ୟକ୍ଷ ରୂପେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦର୍ଶନ ଦେଇ ନାହୁଁ BSB BSB: Then a man of God came to Eli and told him, “This is what the LORD says: ‘Did I not clearly reveal Myself to your father’s house when they were in Egypt under Pharaoh’s house?
28 ULB ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ କି ଆମ୍ଭ ବେଦି ଉପରକୁ ଯିବାକୁ ଓ ଧୂପ ଜ୍ୱଳାଇବାକୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଏଫୋଦ ପରିଧାନ କରିବାକୁ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତାହାକୁ ଯାଜକ ହେବା ପାଇଁ ମନୋନୀତ କରି ନାହୁଁ? ଆହୁରି, ଆମ୍ଭେ କି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ଅଗ୍ନିକୃତ ସମସ୍ତ ଉପହାର ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତୃଗୃହକୁ ଦେଇ ନାହୁଁ? BSB BSB: And out of all the tribes of Israel I selected your father to be My priest, to offer sacrifices on My altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in My presence. I also gave to the house of your father all the food offerings of the Israelites.
29 ULB ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଆବାସରେ ଯେ ଯେ ବଳି ଓ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବାକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଅଛୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କାହିଁକି ତହିଁରେ ପଦାଘାତ କରୁଅଛ? ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସର୍ବୋତ୍ତମ ସମସ୍ତ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ହୃଷ୍ଟପୁଷ୍ଟ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିକ ଗୌରବ କରୁଅଛ? BSB BSB: Why then do you kick at My sacrifice and offering that I have prescribed for My dwelling place? You have honored your sons more than Me by fattening yourselves with the best of all the offerings of My people Israel.’
30 ULB ଏଣୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର କହନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତୃଗୃହ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଅନନ୍ତ କାଳ ଗମନାଗମନ କରିବେ ବୋଲି ଆମ୍ଭେ କହିଥିଲୁ ପ୍ରମାଣ, ମାତ୍ର ଏବେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଦୂର ହେଉ; କାରଣ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଗୌରବ କରନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗୌରବ କରିବା, ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ତୁଚ୍ଛଜ୍ଞାନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଲଘୁଜ୍ଞାନ କରାଯିବେ। BSB BSB: Therefore, the LORD, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I did indeed say that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever. But now the LORD declares: Far be it from Me! For I will honor those who honor Me, but those who despise Me will be disdained.
31 ULB ଦେଖ, ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବାହୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତୃଗୃହର ବାହୁ କାଟି ପକାଇବା, ଏପରି ଦିନ ଆସୁଅଛି, ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହରେ ଜଣେ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକ ରହିବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Behold, the days are coming when I will cut off your strength and the strength of your father’s house, so that no one in it will reach old age.
32 ULB ପୁଣି, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଯେ ଯେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବେ, ସେସବୁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଆବାସରେ ବିପତ୍ତି ଦେଖିବ; ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହରେ କେହି କଦାପି ବୃଦ୍ଧ ହେବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: You will see distress in My dwelling place. Despite all that is good in Israel, no one in your house will ever again reach old age.
33 ULB ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକକୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଯଜ୍ଞବେଦିରୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ନ କରିବା, ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଚକ୍ଷୁର କ୍ଷୟ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହୃଦୟର ଶୋକ ଜନ୍ମାଇବାକୁ ରହିବ; ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶଜାତ ସମସ୍ତେ ଯୌବନାବସ୍ଥାରେ ମରିବେ। BSB BSB: And every one of you that I do not cut off from My altar, I will cause your eyes to fail and your heart to grieve. All your descendants will die by the sword of men.
34 ULB ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୁଇ ପୁତ୍ର ହଫ୍ନି ଓ ପୀନହସ୍ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା ଘଟିବ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭ ପାଇଁ ଚିହ୍ନ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ; ସେ ଦୁହେଁ ଏକ ଦିନରେ ମରିବେ। BSB BSB: And this sign shall come to you concerning your two sons Hophni and Phinehas: They will both die on the same day.
35 ULB ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତ ଯାଜକ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବା, ସେ ଆମ୍ଭ ମନ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ହୃଦୟ ଅନୁସାରେ କର୍ମ କରିବ; ଆଉ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ବଂଶ ସ୍ଥିର କରିବା; ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଅଭିଷିକ୍ତଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସର୍ବଦା ଗମନାଗମନ କରିବ। BSB BSB: Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest. He will do whatever is in My heart and mind. And I will build for him an enduring house, and he will walk before My anointed one for all time.
36 ULB ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜଣ ଏକ ରୂପା ମୁଦ୍ରା ଓ ଏକ ରୁଟି ପାଇଁ ତାହା ପାଖକୁ ଆସି ପ୍ରଣାମ କରି କହିବେ, ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ଖଣ୍ଡେ ରୁଟି ଖାଇବାକୁ ପାଇବି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ଯାଜକତ୍ୱ ପଦରେ ମୋତେ ରଖ। BSB BSB: And everyone left in your house will come and bow down to him for a piece of silver or a morsel of bread, pleading, “Please appoint me to some priestly office so that I can eat a piece of bread.”’”
