2 ULB ଏପରି ସମୟରେ ମାତୃଗର୍ଭରୁ ଖଞ୍ଜ ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ବୁହା ହୋଇ ଯାଉଥିଲା। ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରୁଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଭିକ୍ଷା ମାଗିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲୋକେ ତାହାକୁ ପ୍ରତିଦିନ ସେଥିର ସୁନ୍ଦର ନାମକ ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ରଖିଦେଉଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: And a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those entering the temple courts.
3 ULB ସେ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଥିବା ଦେଖି ଭିକ୍ଷା ମାଗିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା BSB BSB: When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
4 ULB ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ସ୍ଥିର ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଚାହିଁଲେ, ପୁଣି, ପିତର କହିଲେ, "ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼଼କୁ ଚାହଁ।" BSB BSB: Peter looked directly at him, as did John. “Look at us!” said Peter.
5 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ କିଛି ପାଇବା ଆଶାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼଼କୁ ଚାହିଁ ରହିଲା। BSB BSB: So the man gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
6 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ପିତର କହିଲେ, "ରୂପା କି ସୁନା ମୋହର ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ମୋହର ଯାହା ଅଛି, ତାହା ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଉଅଛି; ନାଜରିତୀୟ ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ଚାଲ।" BSB BSB: But Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!”
7 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେ ତା'ର ଡାହାଣ ହାତ ଧରି ତାକୁ ଉଠାଇଲେ; ସେଥିରେ ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ତା'ର ପାଦ ଓ ଗୋଡ଼ର ଗଣ୍ଠିସବୁ ବଳ ପାଇଲା, BSB BSB: Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up, and at once the man’s feet and ankles were made strong.
8 ULB ଆଉ ସେ କୁଦା ମାରି ଠିଆ ହେଲା; ପୁଣି, ଚାଲିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା; ଆଉ, ସେ ଚାଲୁ ଚାଲୁ ଓ କୁଦା ମାରୁ ମାରୁ, ପୁଣି, ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁ କରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲା। BSB BSB: He sprang to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and leaping and praising God.
9 ULB ସେଥିରେ ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହାକୁ ଚାଲିବା ଓ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବା ଦେଖିଲେ, BSB BSB: When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 ULB ଆଉ ଯେଉଁ ଜଣକ ମନ୍ଦିରର ସୁନ୍ଦର-ଦ୍ୱାର ନିକଟରେ ବସି ଭିକ୍ଷା ମାଗୁଥିଲା,ଏ ସେହି ଲୋକ ବୋଲି ସେମାନେ ଚିହ୍ନିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ତା' ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା ଘଟିଥିଲା, ତାହା ଦେଖି ସେମାନେ ଅତିଶୟ ବିସ୍ମୟାପନ୍ନ ଓ ଆଚମ୍ବିତ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
11 ULB ସେ ପିତର ଓ ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ ଧରି ରହିଥିବା ସମୟରେ ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ ଅତିଶୟ ବିସ୍ମୟାପନ୍ନ ହୋଇ ଶଲୋମନଙ୍କ ମଣ୍ଡପରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଏକତ୍ର ଦୌଡ଼ିଆସିଲେ। BSB BSB: While the man clung to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and ran to them in the walkway called Solomon’s Colonnade.
12 ULB ପିତର ତାହା ଦେଖି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ହେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ, ଆପଣମାନେ କାହିଁକି ଏହି ଲୋକ ବିଷୟରେ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି? କିମ୍ବା ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ନିଜ ଶକ୍ତି ଅବା ଭକ୍ତି ବଳରେ ଏହାକୁ ଚାଲିବା ଶକ୍ତି ଦେଇଅଛୁ, ତାହା ଭାବି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କାହିଁକି ଏକଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଚାହୁଁଅଛନ୍ତି? BSB BSB: And when Peter saw this, he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why are you surprised by this? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
13 ULB ଅବ୍ରହାମ, ଇସ୍ହାକ ଓ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କ ଈଶ୍ୱର, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ଈଶ୍ୱର, ଆପଣା ଦାସ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଗୌରବାନ୍ୱିିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେହି ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣମାନେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଯେତେବେଳେ ପୀଲାତ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ମନସ୍ଥ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କଲେ। BSB BSB: The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus. You handed Him over and rejected Him before Pilate, even though he had decided to release Him.
14 ULB ଆପଣମାନେ ସେହି ପବିତ୍ର ଓ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କଲେ, ଆଉ ଜଣେ ନରଘାତକ ଯେପରି ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁକ୍ତ କରାଯାଏ,ଏହା ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲେ, BSB BSB: You rejected the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.
15 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଜୀବନର କର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କଲେ; ତାହାଙ୍କୁୁ ଈଶ୍ୱର ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଠାଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେଥିର ସାକ୍ଷୀ। BSB BSB: You killed the Author of life, but God raised Him from the dead, and we are witnesses of this fact.
16 ULB ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବାରୁ ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକକୁ ଆପଣମାନେ ଦେଖୁଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଜାଣିଅଛନ୍ତି,ଏହାକୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନାମ ବଳବାନ କରିଅଛି; ହଁ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଆପଣ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ସାକ୍ଷାତରେ ଏହାକୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଦାନ କରିଅଛି। BSB BSB: By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know has been made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through Him that has given him this complete healing in your presence.
17 ULB ଆଉ ଏବେ, ହେ ଭାଇମାନେ, ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷମାନେ ଯେପରି, ଆପଣମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେପରି ଅଜ୍ଞାନତା ହେତୁ ଏହା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ। BSB BSB: And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.
18 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଦୁଃଖଭୋଗ ବିଷୟରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଯାହା ଯାହା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଥିଲେ, ସେହି ସବୁ ସେ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ସଫଳ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: But in this way God has fulfilled what He foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Christ would suffer.
19 ULB ଅତଏବ, ଯେପରି ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କର ପାପମୋଚନ ହୋଇ ପାରେ, ଏଥିନିମନ୍ତେ ମନ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରି ଫେରି ଆସନ୍ତୁ, BSB BSB: Repent, then, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away,
20 ULB ତାହାହେଲେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନାର ସମୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବ; ପୁଣି, ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପୂର୍ବନିରୂପିତ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ସେ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus, the Christ, who has been appointed for you.
23 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଏପରି ଘଟିବ ଯେ, ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ସେହି ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କର କଥା ଶୁଣିବ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବ। BSB BSB: Everyone who does not listen to Him will be completely cut off from among his people.’
24 ULB ହଁ, ଶାମୁୟେଲ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟଠାରୁ ଯେତେ ଭାବବାଦୀ କଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହି କାଳର ବିଷୟ ପ୍ରଚାର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି BSB BSB: Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have proclaimed these days.
25 ULB ଆପଣମାନେ ସେହି ଭାବବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କର ସନ୍ତାନ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ବଂଶ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପୃଥିବୀର ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବେ, ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଅବ୍ରହାମଙ୍କୁ କହି ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ ପିତୃପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯେଉଁ ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଥିଲେ, ଆପଣମାନେ ସେହି ନିୟମର ସନ୍ତାନ ଅଟନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: And you are sons of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers when He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all the families of the earth will be blessed.’
26 ULB ଈଶ୍ୱର ପ୍ରଥମେ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣାର ସେହି ଦାସଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ କରି ପ୍ରେରଣ କଲେ, ଯେପରି ସେ ଆପଣମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଜଣଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ନିଜ ଦୁଷ୍ଟତାରୁ ଫେରାଇ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: When God raised up His Servant, He sent Him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
