1 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses,
2 ULB “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଫେରି ପୀହହୀରୋତର ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗରେ ମିଗ୍ଦୋଲ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଛାଉଣି ସ୍ଥାପନ କର; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବାଲ-ସଫୋନ ଆଗରେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ତାହାର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ନିକଟରେ ଛାଉଣି ସ୍ଥାପନ କର। BSB BSB: “Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. You are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal-zephon.
3 ULB ତହିଁରେ ଫାରୋ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ବିଷୟରେ କହିବ, ସେମାନେ ଦେଶ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଧନ୍ଦଳା ହୋଇ ରହିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତର ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଥ ରୁଦ୍ଧ କରିଅଛି। BSB BSB: For Pharaoh will say of the Israelites, ‘They are wandering the land in confusion; the wilderness has boxed them in.’
4 ULB ଆଉ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଫାରୋର ହୃଦୟ କଠିନ କରିବା, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଦୌଡ଼ିବ; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଫାରୋ ଓ ତାହାର ସକଳ ସୈନ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମ ପାଇବା; ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଏହା ମିସ୍ରୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଜାଣିବେ।” ତହୁଁ ସେମାନେ ସେହିପରି କଲେ। BSB BSB: And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart so that he will pursue them. But I will gain honor by means of Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD.” So this is what the Israelites did.
5 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ପଳାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏହି ସମ୍ବାଦ ମିସ୍ରୀୟ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଯାଆନ୍ତେ, ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତିତ ହେଲା; ତହୁଁ ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଏ କି କର୍ମ କରିଅଛୁ? କାହିଁକି ଇସ୍ରାଏଲକୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ଦାସତ୍ୱରୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେଇଅଛୁ?” BSB BSB: When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, Pharaoh and his officials changed their minds about them and said, “What have we done? We have released Israel from serving us.”
6 ULB ତହୁଁ ରାଜା ଆପଣା ରଥ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଇଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ନେଲେ। BSB BSB: So Pharaoh prepared his chariot and took his army with him.
7 ULB ପୁଣି, ଛଅଶହ ବଚ୍ଛା ରଥ ଓ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ରଥ ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ରଥରେ ଯୋଦ୍ଧାମାନଙ୍କୁ ନେଲେ। BSB BSB: He took 600 of the best chariots, and all the other chariots of Egypt, with officers over all of them.
8 ULB ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିସ୍ରୀୟ ରାଜା ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ହୃଦୟ କଠିନ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲେ; ସେତେବେଳେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ଉର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱ ହସ୍ତରେ ଯାତ୍ରା କରୁଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt so that he pursued the Israelites, who were marching out defiantly.
9 ULB ତହୁଁ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଶ୍ୱ, ରଥ ଓ ଅଶ୍ୱାରୂଢ଼ ସୈନ୍ୟଗଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଦୌଡ଼ି ବାଲ-ସଫୋନ ଅଗ୍ରତେ ପୀହହୀରୋତ ନିକଟରେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ତୀରରେ ସେମାନେ ଛାଉଣି କରିବା ସମୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: The Egyptians—all Pharaoh’s horses and chariots, horsemen and troops—pursued the Israelites and overtook them as they camped by the sea near Pi-hahiroth, opposite Baal-zephon.
10 ULB ଆଉ ଫାରୋ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଅନାଇ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ଆଗମନକାରୀ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ଅତିଶୟ ଭୀତ ହେଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଡାକ ପକାଇଲେ। BSB BSB: As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up and saw the Egyptians marching after them, and they were terrified and cried out to the LORD.
11 ULB ପୁଣି, ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ମିସରରେ କବର ନ ଥିଲା ବୋଲି କି ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମାରିବାକୁ ଆଣିଲ? ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଏରୂପ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ମିସରରୁ କାହିଁକି ବାହାର କରି ଆଣିଲ? BSB BSB: They said to Moses, “Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us into the wilderness to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?
12 ULB ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ରହିବାକୁ ଦିଅ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଦାସ୍ୟକର୍ମ କରିବା, କାରଣ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ମରିବା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ସେବା କରିବା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମଙ୍ଗଳ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ମିସରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କଥା କହି ନ ଥିଲୁ?” BSB BSB: Did we not say to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone so that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”
13 ULB ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ, ସୁସ୍ଥିର ହୁଅ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆଜି କିପ୍ରକାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିବେ, ତାହା ଦେଖ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆଜି ଯେପରି ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖୁଅଛ, ସେପରି ଅନନ୍ତ କାଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆଉ କେବେ ଦେଖିବ ନାହିଁ।” BSB BSB: But Moses told the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the LORD’s salvation, which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians you see today, you will never see again.
14 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରିବେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନୀରବ ରହିବ। BSB BSB: The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
15 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ କାହିଁକି ଡାକୁଅଛ? ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, ସେମାନେ ଅଗ୍ରସର ହେଉନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the Israelites to go forward.
16 ULB ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଯଷ୍ଟି ଉଠାଅ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଉପରେ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରି ତାହା ଦୁଇ ଭାଗ କର; ତହିଁରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଶୁଷ୍କ ପଥ ଦେଇ ସମୁଦ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: And as for you, lift up your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.
17 ULB ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ, ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟ କଠିନ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଯିବେ, ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଫାରୋ ଓ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ୟ, ରଥ ଓ ଅଶ୍ୱାରୂଢ଼ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବା। BSB BSB: And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. Then I will gain honor by means of Pharaoh and all his army and chariots and horsemen.
18 ULB ଆଉ ଫାରୋ, ତାହାର ରଥ ଓ ତାହାର ଅଶ୍ୱାରୂଢ଼ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଏହା ମିସ୍ରୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଜାଣିବେ।” BSB BSB: The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I am honored through Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”
19 ULB ସେତେବେଳେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟ ଦଳର ଅଗ୍ରଗାମୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦୂତ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର ହୋଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପଶ୍ଚାଦ୍ଗାମୀ ହେଲେ, ପୁଣି, ମେଘସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର ହୋଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ଛିଡ଼ା ହେଲା। BSB BSB: And the angel of God, who had gone before the camp of Israel, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from before them and stood behind them,
20 ULB ସେହି ମେଘସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ମିସ୍ରୀୟ ଦଳ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟ ଦଳ ମଧ୍ୟକୁ ଆସିଲା, ପୁଣି, ମେଘ ଓ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ହେଲେ ହେଁ ତାହା ରାତ୍ରିକୁ ଆଲୋକମୟ କଲା; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସମସ୍ତ ରାତ୍ରି ଏକ ଦଳ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦଳ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: so that it came between the camps of Egypt and Israel. The cloud was there in the darkness, but it lit up the night. So all night long neither camp went near the other.
21 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମୋଶା ସମୁଦ୍ର ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରନ୍ତେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେହି ସମସ୍ତ ରାତ୍ରି ପ୍ରବଳ ପୂର୍ବୀୟ ବାୟୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ ହଟାଇ ଶୁଷ୍କ କଲେ ଓ ଜଳ ଦୁଇ ଭାଗ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the LORD drove back the sea with a strong east wind that turned it into dry land. So the waters were divided,
22 ULB ତହିଁରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଶୁଷ୍କ ପଥ ଦେଇ ସମୁଦ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗମନ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷିଣରେ ଓ ବାମରେ ଜଳ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on their right and on their left.
23 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନେ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଅଶ୍ୱ, ରଥ, ଓ ଅଶ୍ୱାରୂଢ଼ ଲୋକ ସମସ୍ତେ ଦୌଡ଼ି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କଲେ। BSB BSB: And the Egyptians chased after them—all Pharaoh’s horses, chariots, and horsemen—and followed them into the sea.
24 ULB ମାତ୍ର ରାତ୍ରିର ଶେଷ ପ୍ରହରରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅଗ୍ନି ଓ ମେଘସ୍ତମ୍ଭ ଦେଇ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ୟକୁ ଅନାଇଲେ ଓ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ୟକୁ ଅସ୍ତବ୍ୟସ୍ତ କଲେ। BSB BSB: At morning watch, however, the LORD looked down on the army of the Egyptians from the pillar of fire and cloud, and He threw their camp into confusion.
25 ULB ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରଥର ଚକ୍ର ବାହାର କରି ପକାନ୍ତେ, ସେମାନେ ଅତି କଷ୍ଟରେ ରଥ ଚଳାଇଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ମିସ୍ରୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ କହିଲେ, “ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ପଳାଇ ଯାଉ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସପକ୍ଷ ହୋଇ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।” BSB BSB: He caused their chariot wheels to wobble, so that they had difficulty driving. “Let us flee from the Israelites,” said the Egyptians, “for the LORD is fighting for them against Egypt!”
26 ULB ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଉପରେ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କର; ତହିଁରେ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରଥ ଓ ଅଶ୍ୱାରୂଢ଼ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଜଳ ଆସିବ।” BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen.”
27 ULB ତହୁଁ ମୋଶା ସମୁଦ୍ର ଉପରେ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କଲେ, ଆଉ ପ୍ରଭାତ ସମୟକୁ ସମୁଦ୍ର ପୁନର୍ବାର ସମାନ ହେବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା; ତହୁଁ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନେ ଉଜାଣି ପଳାୟନ କରନ୍ତେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମୁଦ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିକ୍ଷେପ କଲେ। BSB BSB: So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea returned to its normal state. As the Egyptians were retreating, the LORD swept them into the sea.
28 ULB ପୁଣି, ଜଳ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଆସି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରଥ ଓ ଅଶ୍ୱାରୂଢ଼ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କଲା; ତହିଁରେ ଫାରୋଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ସବୁ ସୈନ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରହିଲା ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: The waters flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen—the entire army of Pharaoh that had chased the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.
29 ULB ମାତ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଶୁଷ୍କ ପଥରେ ସମୁଦ୍ର ମଧ୍ୟଦେଇ ଗମନ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ଜଳ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବାମ ଓ ଦକ୍ଷିଣରେ ପ୍ରାଚୀର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: But the Israelites had walked through the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on their right and on their left.
30 ULB ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ସେହି ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କଲେ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମୁଦ୍ର ତୀରରେ ମୃତ ଦେଖିଲେ। BSB BSB: That day the LORD saved Israel from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the shore.
31 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମିସ୍ରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଏହି ଯେଉଁ ମହତ୍ କର୍ମ କଲେ, ତାହା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଦେଖିଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦାସ ମୋଶାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କଲେ। BSB BSB: When Israel saw the great power that the LORD had exercised over the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and believed in Him and in His servant Moses.
