1ଯେଉଁମାନେ ବନ୍ଦୀ ରୂପେ ନୀତ ହୋଇଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ପ୍ରଦେଶୀୟ ଏହି ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାସ୍ଥିତ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ନଗରକୁ ଫେରି ଆସିଲେ; ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍‍ନିତ୍ସର ଏମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାବିଲକୁ ନେଇ ଯାଇଥିଲେ।Now these are the people of the province who came up from the captivity of the exiles carried away to Babylon by Nebuchadnezzar its king. They returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own town,

2ଏମାନେ ଯିରୁବ୍ବାବିଲ୍‍, ଯେଶୂୟ, ନିହିମୀୟା, ସରାୟ, ରିୟେଲାୟ, ମର୍ଦ୍ଦଖୟ, ବିଲ୍‍ଶନ୍‍, ମିସ୍ପର, ବିଗ୍‍ବୟ, ରହୂମ୍‍ ଓ ବାନା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଫେରି ଆସିଲେ। ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶୀୟ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଏହି, ଯଥା,accompanied by Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum, and Baanah. This is the count of the men of Israel:

3ପରିୟୋଶର ସନ୍ତାନ ଦୁଇ ହଜାର ଏକ ଶହ ବାସ୍ତରି ଜଣ।the descendants of Parosh, 2,172;

4ଶଫଟୀୟର ସନ୍ତାନ ତିନି ଶହ ବାସ୍ତରି ଜଣ।the descendants of Shephatiah, 372;

5ଆରହର ସନ୍ତାନ ସାତ ଶହ ପଞ୍ଚସ୍ତରି ଜଣ।the descendants of Arah, 775;

6ଯେଶୂୟ ଓ ଯୋୟାବର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ପହତ୍‍-ମୋୟାବର ସନ୍ତାନ ଦୁଇ ହଜାର ଆଠ ଶହ ବାର ଜଣ।the descendants of Pahath-moab (through the line of Jeshua and Joab), 2,812;

7ଏଲମ୍‍ର ସନ୍ତାନ ଏକ ହଜାର ଦୁଇ ଶହ ଚଉବନ ଜଣ।the descendants of Elam, 1,254;

8ସତ୍ତୂର ସନ୍ତାନ ନଅ ଶହ ପଞ୍ଚଚାଳିଶ ଜଣ।the descendants of Zattu, 945;

9ସକ୍କୟର ସନ୍ତାନ ସାତ ଶହ ଷାଠିଏ ଜଣ।the descendants of Zaccai, 760;

10ବାନିର ସନ୍ତାନ ଛଅ ଶହ ବୟାଳିଶ ଜଣ।the descendants of Bani, 642;

11ବେବୟର ସନ୍ତାନ ଛଅ ଶହ ତେଇଶ ଜଣ।the descendants of Bebai, 623;

12ଅସ୍‍ଗଦର ସନ୍ତାନ ଏକ ହଜାର ଦୁଇ ଶହ ବାଇଶ ଜଣ।the descendants of Azgad, 1,222;

13ଅଦୋନୀକାମର ସନ୍ତାନ ଛଅ ଶହ ଛଷଠି ଜଣ।the descendants of Adonikam, 666;

14ବିଗ୍‍ବୟର ସନ୍ତାନ ଦୁଇ ହଜାର ଛପନ ଜଣ।the descendants of Bigvai, 2,056;

15ଆଦୀନର ସନ୍ତାନ ଚାରି ଶହ ଚଉବନ ଜଣ।the descendants of Adin, 454;

16ହିଜକୀୟର ବଂଶଜାତ ଆଟେରର ସନ୍ତାନ ଅଠାନବେ ଜଣ।the descendants of Ater (through Hezekiah), 98;

25କିରୀୟଥ୍‍-ଯିୟାରୀମ୍‍ ଓ କଫୀରା ଓ ବେରୋତର ସନ୍ତାନ ସାତ ଶହ ତେୟାଳିଶ ଜଣ।the men of Kiriath-jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, 743;

26ରାମାର ଓ ଗେବାର ସନ୍ତାନ ଛଅ ଶହ ଏକୋଇଶ୍‍ ଜଣ।the men of Ramah and Geba, 621;

27ମିକ୍‍ମସର ଲୋକ ଏକ ଶହ ବାଇଶ ଜଣ।the men of Michmash, 122;

28ବେଥେଲ୍‍ର ଓ ଅୟର ଲୋକ ଦୁଇ ଶହ ତେଇଶ ଜଣ।the men of Bethel and Ai, 223;

29ନବୋର ସନ୍ତାନ ବାବନ ଜଣ।the descendants of Nebo, 52;

30ମଗ୍‍ବୀଶର ସନ୍ତାନ ଏକ ଶହ ଛପନ ଜଣ।the descendants of Magbish, 156;

31ଅନ୍ୟ ଏଲମ୍‍ର ସନ୍ତାନ ଏକ ହଜାର ଦୁଇ ଶହ ଚଉବନ ଜଣ।the descendants of the other Elam, 1,254;

32ହାରୀମର ସନ୍ତାନ ତିନି ଶହ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ଜଣ।the descendants of Harim, 320;

34ଯିରୀହୋର ସନ୍ତାନ ତିନି ଶହ ପଞ୍ଚଚାଳିଶ ଜଣ।the men of Jericho, 345;

35ସନାୟାର ସନ୍ତାନ ତିନି ହଜାର ଛଅ ଶହ ତିରିଶ ଜଣ।and the descendants of Senaah, 3,630.

36ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା; ଯେଶୂୟ-ବଂଶଜ ଯିଦୟୀୟର ସନ୍ତାନ ନଅ ଶହ ତେସ୍ତରି ଜଣ।The priests: The descendants of Jedaiah (through the house of Jeshua), 973;

37ଇମ୍ମେରର ସନ୍ତାନ ଏକ ହଜାର ବାବନ ଜଣ।the descendants of Immer, 1,052;

38ପଶ୍‍ହୂରର ସନ୍ତାନ ଏକ ହଜାର ଦୁଇ ଶହ ସତଚାଳିଶ ଜଣ।the descendants of Pashhur, 1,247;

39ହାରୀମର ସନ୍ତାନ ଏକ ହଜାର ସତର ଜଣ।and the descendants of Harim, 1,017.

40ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା; ହୋଦବୀୟର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯେଶୂୟ ଓ କଦ୍‍ମୀୟେଲର ସନ୍ତାନ ଚଉସ୍ତରି ଜଣ।The Levites: the descendants of Jeshua and Kadmiel (through the line of Hodaviah), 74.

41ଗାୟକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା; ଆସଫର ସନ୍ତାନ ଏକ ଶହ ଅଠାଇଶ ଜଣ।The singers: the descendants of Asaph, 128.

42ଦ୍ୱାରପାଳମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସଂଖ୍ୟା; ଶଲ୍ଲୁମ୍‍ର ସନ୍ତାନ, ଆଟେରର ସନ୍ତାନ, ଟଲ୍‍ମୋନର ସନ୍ତାନ, ଅକ୍‍କୂବର ସନ୍ତାନ, ହଟୀଟାର ସନ୍ତାନ, ଶୋବୟର ସନ୍ତାନ, ସର୍ବସୁଦ୍ଧା ଏକ ଶହ ଅଣଚାଳିଶ ଜଣ।The gatekeepers: the descendants of Shallum, the descendants of Ater, the descendants of Talmon, the descendants of Akkub, the descendants of Hatita, and the descendants of Shobai, 139 in all.

43ନଥୀନୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ; ସୀହର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହସୂଫାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଟବ୍ବାୟୋତର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;The temple servants: the descendants of Ziha, the descendants of Hasupha, the descendants of Tabbaoth,

44କେରୋସର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ସୀୟର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ପାଦୋନର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Keros, the descendants of Siaha, the descendants of Padon,

45ଲବାନାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହଗାବର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଅକ୍‍କୂବର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Lebanah, the descendants of Hagabah, the descendants of Akkub,

46ହାଗାବର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଶମ୍‍ଲୟର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହାନନ୍‍ର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Hagab, the descendants of Shalmai, the descendants of Hanan,

47ଗିଦ୍ଦେଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଗହରର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ରାୟାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Giddel, the descendants of Gahar, the descendants of Reaiah,

48ରତ୍‍ସୀନର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ନକୋଦର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଗସମର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Rezin, the descendants of Nekoda, the descendants of Gazzam,

49ଉଷର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ପାସେହର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ବେଷୟର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Uzza, the descendants of Paseah, the descendants of Besai,

50ଅସ୍ନାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ମିୟୂନୀମର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ନଫିଷୀମର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Asnah, the descendants of Meunim, the descendants of Nephusim,

51ବକ୍‍ବୁକର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହକୂଫାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହର୍ହୂରର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Bakbuk, the descendants of Hakupha, the descendants of Harhur,

52ବସ୍‍ଲୂତର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ମହୀଦାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହର୍ଶାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Bazluth, the descendants of Mehida, the descendants of Harsha,

53ବର୍କୋସର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ସୀଷରାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ତେମହର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Barkos, the descendants of Sisera, the descendants of Temah,

54ନତ୍‍ସୀହର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହଟୀଫାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ।the descendants of Neziah, and the descendants of Hatipha.

55ଶଲୋମନର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ; ସୋଟୟର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହସୋଫେରତର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ପରୁଦାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;The descendants of the servants of Solomon: the descendants of Sotai, the descendants of Hassophereth, the descendants of Peruda,

56ଯାଳାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଦର୍କୋଣର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଗିଦ୍ଦେଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Jaala, the descendants of Darkon, the descendants of Giddel,

57ଶଫଟୀୟର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହଟୀଲର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ପୋଖେରତ୍‍-ହତ୍‍ସବାୟିମର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଆମୀର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ;the descendants of Shephatiah, the descendants of Hattil, the descendants of Pochereth-hazzebaim, and the descendants of Ami.

58ନଥୀନୀୟ ଲୋକମାନେ ଓ ଶଲୋମନର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ସର୍ବସୁଦ୍ଧା ତିନି ଶହ ବୟାନବେ ଜଣ।The temple servants and descendants of the servants of Solomon numbered 392 in all.

59ପୁଣି ତେଲ୍‍-ମେଲହ, ତେଲ୍‍-ହର୍ଶା, କଋବ୍‍, ଅଦ୍ଦନ ଓ ଇମ୍ମେର, ଏହି ସକଳ ସ୍ଥାନରୁ ଲୋକ ଆସିଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲୀୟ ଲୋକ ବୋଲି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପିତୃବଂଶ ଓ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ପ୍ରମାଣ ଦର୍ଶାଇ ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ; ସେହି ଲୋକମାନେ ଏହି, ଯଥା,The following came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, and Immer, but they could not prove that their families were descended from Israel:

60ଦଲୟିୟର ସନ୍ତାନ, ଟୋବୀୟର ସନ୍ତାନ, ନକୋଦର ସନ୍ତାନ, ଛଅ ଶହ ବାବନ ଜଣ।the descendants of Delaiah, the descendants of Tobiah, and the descendants of Nekoda, 652 in all.

61ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ହବାୟର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ହକ୍କୋସ୍‍ର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ବର୍ସିଲ୍ଲୟର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ, ଏହି ବର୍ସିଲ୍ଲୟ ଗିଲୀୟଦୀୟ ବର୍ସିଲ୍ଲୟର ଏକ କନ୍ୟାକୁ ବିବାହ କରିବାରୁ ତାହାର ନାମାନୁସାରେ ଖ୍ୟାତ ହୋଇଥିଲା।And from among the priests: the descendants of Hobaiah, the descendants of Hakkoz, and the descendants of Barzillai (who had married a daughter of Barzillai the Gileadite and was called by their name).

62ଏମାନେ ବଂଶାବଳୀକ୍ରମେ ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶାବଳୀପତ୍ର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କଲେ, ମାତ୍ର ପାଇଲେ ନାହିଁ; ଏହେତୁ ଏମାନେ ଅଶୁଚି ଗଣିତ ହୋଇ ଯାଜକ ପଦଚ୍ୟୁତ ହେଲେ।These men searched for their family records, but they could not find them and so were excluded from the priesthood as unclean.

63ପୁଣି, ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା ଯେ, ଊରୀମ୍‍ ଓ ତୁମ୍ମୀମ୍‍ଧାରୀ କୌଣସି ଯାଜକ ଉତ୍ପନ୍ନ ନ ହେବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେମାନେ ପବିତ୍ର ବସ୍ତୁ ଭୋଜନ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ।The governor ordered them not to eat the most holy things until there was a priest to consult the Urim and Thummim.

64ଆଉ, ଏକତ୍ରୀକୃତ ସମସ୍ତ ସମାଜ ବୟାଳିଶ ହଜାର ତିନି ଶହ ଷାଠିଏ ଜଣ ଥିଲେ।The whole assembly numbered 42,360,

65ଏହା ଛଡ଼ା ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଦାସଦାସୀ ସାତ ହଜାର ତିନି ଶହ ସଇଁତିରିଶ ଜଣ ଥିଲେ। ଆହୁରି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁଇ ଶହ ଗାୟକ ଗାୟିକା ଥିଲେ।in addition to their 7,337 menservants and maidservants, as well as their 200 male and female singers.

66ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସାତ ଶହ ଛତିଶ ଅଶ୍ୱ; ଦୁଇ ଶହ ପଞ୍ଚଚାଳିଶ ଖଚର;They had 736 horses, 245 mules,

67ଚାରି ଶହ ପଞ୍ଚତିରିଶ ଓଟ; ଛଅ ହଜାର ସାତ ଶହ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ଥିଲେ।435 camels, and 6,720 donkeys.

68ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ପିତୃବଂଶୀୟ କେତେକ ପ୍ରଧାନ ଲୋକ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଯିରୂଶାଲମସ୍ଥିତ ଗୃହରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କର ସେହି ଗୃହ ସ୍ୱସ୍ଥାନରେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସ୍ଵେଚ୍ଛାପୂର୍ବକ ଦାନ କଲେ।When they arrived at the house of the LORD in Jerusalem, some of the heads of the families gave freewill offerings to rebuild the house of God on its original site.

69ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଶକ୍ତି ଅନୁସାରେ ସେହି କର୍ମର ଭଣ୍ଡାରରେ ଏକଷଠି ହଜାର ଡ୍ରାକ୍‌ମା ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣମୁଦ୍ରା ଓ ପାଞ୍ଚ ହଜାର ପାଉଣ୍ଡ ରୂପା ଓ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ଶହ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଦେଲେ।According to their ability, they gave to the treasury for this work 61,000 darics of gold, 5,000 minas of silver, and 100 priestly garments.

70ପୁଣି, ଯାଜକମାନେ ଓ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେତେକ, ପୁଣି ଗାୟକମାନେ ଓ ଦ୍ୱାରପାଳମାନେ ଓ ନଥୀନୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ନଗରରେ ଓ ସମଗ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ନଗରରେ ବାସ କଲେ।So the priests, the Levites, the singers, the gatekeepers, and the temple servants, along with some of the people, settled in their own towns; and the rest of the Israelites settled in their towns.
