1 ULB କାରଣ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଆଗାମୀ ଉତ୍ତମ ବିଷୟର ଛାୟା ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇ ସେହି ସବୁ ବିଷୟର ଅବିକଳ ପ୍ରତିମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ନ ହେବାରୁ ଯାଜକମାନଙ୍କର ବର୍ଷକୁ ବର୍ଷ ସେହି ଏକ ପ୍ରକାର ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉପାସକମାନଙ୍କୁ କଦାପି ସିଦ୍ଧ କରି ପାରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: For the law is only a shadow of the good things to come, not the realities themselves. It can never, by the same sacrifices offered year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.
2 ULB ସେହି ସବୁ ବଳିର ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କ'ଣ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହୋଇ ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତା ଯଦି ଉପାସକମାନେ ଥରେ ଶୁଚିକୃତ ହୋଇ ବିବେକରେ ଆଉ ପାପର ବୋଧ ପାଇ ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତେ? BSB BSB: If it could, would not the offerings have ceased? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt the guilt of their sins.
3 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେହି ସବୁ ବଳିରେ ବର୍ଷକୁ ବର୍ଷ ପାପ ସ୍ମରଣ କରାଯାଏ; BSB BSB: Instead, those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins,
4 ULB କାରଣ ବୃଷ ଓ ଛାଗର ରକ୍ତ ଯେ ପାପ ହରଣ କରିବ, ଏହା ଅସମ୍ଭବ। BSB BSB: because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
5 ULB ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ଜଗତକୁ ଆଗମନ କରି କହନ୍ତି, ବଳିଦାନ ଓ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ନ ଲୋଡ଼ି ମୋ' ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ଶରୀର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲ; BSB BSB: Therefore, when Christ came into the world, He said: “Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but a body You prepared for Me.
6 ULB ହୋମବଳି ଓ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହେଲ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: In burnt offerings and sin offerings You took no delight.
7 ULB ସେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ କହିଲି, ଦେଖ, ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରରେ ମୋ' ବିଷୟରେ ଲେଖା ଅଛି, ହେ ଈଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଇଚ୍ଛା ସାଧନ କରିବାକୁ ମୁଁ ଆସିଅଛି। BSB BSB: Then I said, ‘Here I am, it is written about Me in the scroll: I have come to do Your will, O God.’”
8 ULB ଏସବୁ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱରେ ସେ କହନ୍ତି, ବଳିଦାନ, ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ, ହୋମବଳି ଓ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଲୋଡ଼ିଲ ନାହିଁ, କିମ୍ବା ସେଥିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତୋଷ ନ ଥିଲା (ଯାହାସବୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଅନୁସାରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରାଯାଏ;) BSB BSB: In the passage above He says, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings You did not desire, nor did You delight in them” (although they are offered according to the law).
9 ULB ତତ୍ପରେ ସେ କହନ୍ତି, ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଇଚ୍ଛା ସାଧନ କରିବାକୁ ମୁଁ ଆସିଅଛି। ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟଟି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେ ପ୍ରଥମଟି ଲୋପ କରନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Then He adds, “Here I am, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first to establish the second.
10 ULB ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଶରୀର ଏକାଥରକେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗୀକୃତ ହେବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେହି ଇଚ୍ଛା ହେତୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପବିତ୍ରୀକୃତ ହୋଇଅଛୁ। BSB BSB: And by that will, we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
12 ULB ମାତ୍ର ସେ ପାପ ନିମନ୍ତେ କେବଳ ଏକ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱରେ ଚିରକାଳ ପାଇଁ ଉପବେଶ ନ କଲେ; BSB BSB: But when this Priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God.
13 ULB ସେହି ଦିନାବଧି ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଦପୀଠ କରାଯାଇ ନ ଥିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Since that time, He waits for His enemies to be made a footstool for His feet,
14 ULB କାରଣ କେବଳ ଏକ ବଳିର ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେ ପବିତ୍ରୀକୃତ ହେଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିରକାଳ ପାଇଁ ସିଦ୍ଧ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: because by a single offering He has made perfect for all time those who are being sanctified.
15 ULB ଆଉ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ମଧ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଅନ୍ତି; BSB BSB: The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First He says:
16 ULB କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ସେହି ସମୟ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯେଉଁ ନିୟମ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା, ତାହା ଏହି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟରେ ଆପଣା ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଦେବା, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମନରେ ସେହି ସବୁ ଲେଖିବା, ଏହା କହିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେ କହନ୍ତି, BSB BSB: “This is the covenant I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord. I will put My laws in their hearts and inscribe them on their minds.”
17 ULB ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାପ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅପରାଧସବୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଉ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବା ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Then He adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.”
18 ULB ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ କ୍ଷମା ହେବା ସ୍ଥଳେ ପାପ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆଉ ବଳି ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ଅନାବଶ୍ୟକ। BSB BSB: And where these have been forgiven, an offering for sin is no longer needed.
20 ULB ସେହି ପଥରେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମହାପବିତ୍ର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସାହସ ଥିବାରୁ BSB BSB: by the new and living way opened for us through the curtain of His body,
21 ULB ପୁଣି, ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ଉପରେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ମହାଯାଜକ ଥିବାରୁ BSB BSB: and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
22 ULB ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହୃଦୟ ପ୍ରକ୍ଷାଳନ ଦ୍ୱାରା କଳୁଷିତ ବିବେକରୁ ଶୁଚିକୃତ ଓ ନିର୍ମଳ ଜଳରେ ଧୌତଶରୀର ହୋଇ ସରଳ ହୃଦୟ ସହ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିଶ୍ୱାସରେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେଉ; BSB BSB: let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
25 ULB ଆଉ କେହି କେହି ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ଉପାସନା ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଥାଆନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେପରି ନ କରୁ; ବରଂ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଉତ୍ସାହ ଦେଉ, ବିଶେଷତଃ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦିନ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୋଇ ଆସୁଅଛି ବୋଲି ଦେଖୁଅଛ। BSB BSB: Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
26 ULB କାରଣ ସତ୍ୟ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଲାଭ କରିବା ପରେ ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାପୂର୍ବକ ପାପ କରୁଥାଉ, ତେବେ ପାପାର୍ଥକ ବଳି ଆଉ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ନ ଥାଏ, BSB BSB: If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains,
27 ULB ବରଂ ବିଚାରର ଏକ ପ୍ରକାର ଭୟଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତୀକ୍ଷା ଓ ବିପକ୍ଷମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରାସକାରୀ ଅଗ୍ନିର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡତା ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଥାଏ। BSB BSB: but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume all adversaries.
28 ULB କେହି ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାକୁ ଅମାନ୍ୟ କଲେ, ସେ ଦୟା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ନ ହୋଇ ଦୁଇ କିମ୍ବା ତିନି ଜଣ ସାକ୍ଷୀଙ୍କ ପ୍ରମାଣରେ ହତ ହୁଏ; BSB BSB: Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
29 ULB ତେବେ ଭାବି ଦେଖ, ଯେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ପଦଦଳିତ କରିଅଛି, ନିୟମର ଯେଉଁ ରକ୍ତ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେ ପବିତ୍ରୀକୃତ ହୋଇଥିଲା, ତାହାକୁ ସାମାନ୍ୟ ବିଷୟ ବୋଲି ମନେ କରିଅଛି ଓ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହଦାତା ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କୁ ଅବମାନନା କରିଅଛି, ସେ କେଡ଼େ ଅଧିକ ଗୁରୁତର ଦଣ୍ଡର ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନ ହେବ! BSB BSB: How much more severely do you think one deserves to be punished who has trampled on the Son of God, profaned the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and insulted the Spirit of grace?
30 ULB କାରଣ 'ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧ ନେବା ଆମ୍ଭର ଅଧିକାର, ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବା,'ଯେ ଏହି କଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଜାଣୁ; ପୁନଶ୍ଚ, 'ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରିବେ'। BSB BSB: For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge His people.”
31 ULB ଜୀବିତ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତରେ ପଡ଼ିବା ଭୟଙ୍କର ବିଷୟ। BSB BSB: It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଆଲୋକ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନାନା ଦୁଃଖଭୋଗରୂପ କଠୋର ସଂଗ୍ରାମ ସହ୍ୟ କରିଥିଲ, ସେହି ପୂର୍ବ ସମୟକୁ ସ୍ମରଣରେ ଆଣ; BSB BSB: Remember the early days that you were in the light. In those days, you endured a great conflict in the face of suffering.
33 ULB ଏକ ଦିଗରେ ତିରସ୍କାର ଓ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦ୍ୱାରା କୌତୁକାସ୍ପଦ ହୋଇଥିଲ, ଅନ୍ୟ ଦିଗରେ ସେହି ପ୍ରକାର ବ୍ୟବହାର ପାଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସହଭାଗୀ ହୋଇଥିଲ। BSB BSB: Sometimes you were publicly exposed to ridicule and persecution; at other times you were partners with those who were so treated.
34 ULB କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବନ୍ଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଦୁଃଖଭୋଗ କରିଥିଲ, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜର ଯେ ଅଧିକ ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ନିତ୍ୟସ୍ଥାୟୀ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଅଛି, ଏହା ଜାଣି ଆନନ୍ଦରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତିର ଲୁଣ୍ଠନ ସହ୍ୟ କରିଥିଲ। BSB BSB: You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, knowing that you yourselves had a better and permanent possession.
35 ULB ଅତଏବ, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସାହସ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କର ନାହିଁ, ସେଥିର ମହା ପୁରସ୍କାର ଅଛି। BSB BSB: So do not throw away your confidence; it holds a great reward.
36 ULB ଯେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛା ସାଧନ କରି ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞାର ଫଳପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇ ପାର, ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟଶୀଳ ହେବା ପ୍ରୟୋଜନ। BSB BSB: You need to persevere, so that after you have done the will of God, you will receive what He has promised.
37 ULB କାରଣ ଆଉ ଅତିଅଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ମାତ୍ର, ଯାହାଙ୍କ ଆଗମନ କରିବାର ଅଛି, ସେ ଆଗମନ କରିବେ ଓ ବିଳମ୍ବ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: For, “In just a little while, He who is coming will come and will not delay.
38 ULB ଆମ୍ଭର ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବଞ୍ଚିବ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି କେହି ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ପଦ ହୁଏ, ତାହାହେଲେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆତ୍ମା ତାହାଠାରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ନୁହେଁ। BSB BSB: But My righteous one will live by faith; and if he shrinks back, I will take no pleasure in him.”
39 ULB ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ବିନାଶ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପଶ୍ଚାତ୍ପଦ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦଳର ଲୋକ ନୋହୁଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆତ୍ମାର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦଳର ଲୋକ ଅଟୁ। BSB BSB: But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.
