1 ULB ଅତଏବ ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସାବଧାନ ହେଉ, କାଳେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ରାମରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବାର ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା ଥିବା ସ୍ଥଳେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେହି ସେଥିରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ହେଲା ପରି ଦେଖାଯାଏ। BSB BSB: Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it.
2 ULB କାରଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଯେପରି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହିପରି ସୁସମାଚାର ପ୍ରଚାରିତ ହୋଇଅଛି, କିନ୍ତୁ ଶ୍ରୋତାମାନେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଶୁଣିଥିବା ବାକ୍ୟ ନିଜସ୍ୱ ନ କରିବାରୁ ତାହା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଲାଭଜନକ ହେଲା ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.
3 ULB ଯେଣୁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିଅଛୁ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ, କେବଳ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେହି ବିଶ୍ରାମରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା, ଯେପରି ସେ କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏଣୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଶପଥ କଲୁ, ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ରାମରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଜଗତର ପତ୍ତନ ସମୟଠାରୁ ସମସ୍ତ କର୍ମ ସମାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଥିଲା; BSB BSB: Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said: “So I swore on oath in My anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’” And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world.
4 ULB କାରଣ ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ ସେ କୌଣସି ଏକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଈଶ୍ୱର ସପ୍ତମ ଦିନରେ ଆପଣାର ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ କଲେ; BSB BSB: For somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this manner: “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.”
5 ULB ଆଉ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ସେ ପୁନଶ୍ଚ କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ରାମରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: And again, as He says in the passage above: “They shall never enter My rest.”
6 ULB ଅତଏବ, କେତେକଙ୍କର ସେଥିରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବାର ବାକି ଥିବାରୁ, ପୁଣି, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସୁସମାଚାର ପୂର୍ବରେ ପ୍ରଚାରିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା, ସେମାନେ ଅବାଧ୍ୟତା ହେତୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ ନ କରିବାରୁ ସେ ପୁନର୍ବାର BSB BSB: Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience,
7 ULB ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ ଦିନ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଆଜି ଦିନ ନିରୂପଣ କରି ଏତେକାଳ ପରେ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥରେ କହନ୍ତି, ଯେପରି ପୂର୍ବରେ କୁହାଯାଇଅଛି, ଆଜି ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବାଣୀ ଶୁଣ, ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟ କଠିନ ନ କର। BSB BSB: God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”
8 ULB କାରଣ ଯଦି ଯିହୋଶୂୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ଦେଇଥାଆନ୍ତେ, ତେବେ ସେ ପରେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦିନର କଥା କହି ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତେ। BSB BSB: For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day.
9 ULB ଅତଏବ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ବିଶ୍ରାମବାର ଭୋଗ କରିବାର ବାକି ଅଛି। BSB BSB: There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God.
10 ULB ଯେଣୁ ଯେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ରାମରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିଅଛି, ଈଶ୍ୱର ଆପଣା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରୁ ଯେପରି ବିଶ୍ରାମ କଲେ, ସେପରି ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଆପଣା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରୁ ବିଶ୍ରାମ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛି। BSB BSB: For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His.
11 ULB ଏଣୁ ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେହି ବିଶ୍ରାମରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବାକୁ ଯତ୍ନ କରୁ, ଯେପରି କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଅବାଧ୍ୟତାର ସେହି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତ ଅନୁସାରେ ପତିତ ନ ହୁଏ। BSB BSB: Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.
12 ULB କାରଣ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ଜୀବନ୍ତ ଓ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟସାଧକ ପୁଣି, ଦ୍ୱିଧାର ଖଡ଼୍ଗଠାରୁ ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ମତର, ଆଉ ପ୍ରାଣ ଓ ଆତ୍ମା, ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥି ଓ ମଜ୍ଜାର ବିଚ୍ଛେଦ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ପରିଭେଦକ ଏବଂ ହୃଦୟର ଚିନ୍ତା ଓ ଭାବର ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ବିଚାରକ ଅଟେ। BSB BSB: For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it pierces even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
13 ULB ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଅପ୍ରକାଶିତ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଯାହାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିକାଶ ଦେବାକୁ ହେବ, ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ଉଲଙ୍ଗ ଓ ଅନାବୃତ ଅଟେ। BSB BSB: Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight; everything is uncovered and exposed before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
14 ULB ଅତଏବ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସମୂହ ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଇ ଗମନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଯେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯୀଶୁ, ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଧାନ ମହାଯାଜକ ହେବାରୁ ଆସ, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିଶ୍ୱାସମତକୁ ଦୃଢ଼ ଭାବରେ ଧାରଣ କରୁ। BSB BSB: Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we profess.
16 ULB ଅତଏବ ଆସ, କୃପାପ୍ରାପ୍ତି ନିମନ୍ତେ ପୁଣି, ଉପଯୁକ୍ତ ସମୟରେ ଉପକାରକଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସାହସରେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ସିଂହାସନ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଉ। BSB BSB: Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
