1 ULB ହାୟ ଅରୀୟେଲ, ଅରୀୟେଲ, ଦାଉଦର ଛାଉଣି ନଗର! ବର୍ଷକୁ ବର୍ଷ ଯୋଗ କର; ପର୍ବମାନ ପାଳି ଅନୁକ୍ରମେ ଆସୁ; BSB BSB: Woe to you, O Ariel, the city of Ariel where David camped! Year upon year let your festivals recur.
2 ULB ତେବେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅରୀୟେଲ ପ୍ରତି ଦୁଃଖ ଘଟାଇବା, ତହୁଁ ଶୋକ ଓ ବିଳାପ ହେବ ଓ ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଅରୀୟେଲ (ଦାହସ୍ଥାନ) ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବ। BSB BSB: And I will constrain Ariel, and there will be mourning and lamentation; she will be like an altar hearth before Me.
3 ULB ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଛାଉଣି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ଓ ଗଡ଼ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବେଷ୍ଟନ କରିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଅବରୋଧକ ଉପାୟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବା। BSB BSB: I will camp in a circle around you; I will besiege you with towers and set up siege works against you.
4 ULB ତହିଁରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅବନତ ହେବ ଓ ଭୂମିରୁ କଥା କହିବ ଓ ଧୂଳିରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର କଥା କ୍ଷୀଣ ସ୍ୱରଯୁକ୍ତ ହେବ; ଆଉ, ଭୂତୁଡ଼ିଆର ନ୍ୟାୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ରବ ଭୂମିରୁ ବାହାରିବ ଓ ଧୂଳିରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ କଥାର ଫୁସ୍ଫୁସ୍ ଶବ୍ଦ ଉଠିବ। BSB BSB: You will be brought low, you will speak from the ground, and out of the dust your words will be muffled. Your voice will be like a spirit from the ground; your speech will whisper out of the dust.
5 ULB ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶତ୍ରୁଗଣର ଲୋକସମୂହ ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ଧୂଳିର ନ୍ୟାୟ ହେବ ଓ ଭୟଙ୍କରମାନଙ୍କର ଲୋକସମୂହ ଉଡ଼ିଯିବା ତୁଷ ପରି ହେବ; ଏକ ନିମିଷରେ ହଠାତ୍ ଏହା ଘଟିବ। BSB BSB: But your many foes will be like fine dust, the multitude of the ruthless like blowing chaff. Then suddenly, in an instant,
6 ULB ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମେଘଗର୍ଜ୍ଜନ, ଭୂମିକମ୍ପ, ମହାଶବ୍ଦ, ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିବାୟୁ, ଝଡ଼ ଓ ଗ୍ରାସକାରୀ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା ସହିତ ତାହାର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ ନେବେ। BSB BSB: you will be visited by the LORD of Hosts with thunder and earthquake and loud noise, with windstorm and tempest and consuming flame of fire.
7 ULB ପୁଣି, ସର୍ବଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟ ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକସମୂହ ଅରୀୟେଲ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତାହାର ଓ ତାହାର ଦୃଢ଼ ଦୁର୍ଗ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରି ତାହାକୁ ସଙ୍କଟାପନ୍ନ କରନ୍ତି, ସେସମସ୍ତେ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନ ତୁଲ୍ୟ, ରାତ୍ରିକାଳୀନ ଦର୍ଶନ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: All the many nations going out to battle against Ariel—even all who war against her, laying siege and attacking her—will be like a dream, like a vision in the night,
8 ULB ଆଉ, ଯେପରି କ୍ଷୁଧିତ ଲୋକ ସ୍ୱପ୍ନରେ ଭୋଜନ କରୁଅଛି ବୋଲି ଦେଖେ, ମାତ୍ର ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହେଲେ, ତାହାର ପ୍ରାଣ ଶୂନ୍ୟ ଥାଏ; ଅବା ଯେପରି ତୃଷିତ ଲୋକ ଜଳ ପାନ କରୁଅଛି ବୋଲି ସ୍ୱପ୍ନରେ ଦେଖେ, ମାତ୍ର ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହେଲେ ଦେଖ, ସେ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ଥାଏ ଓ ତାହାର ପ୍ରାଣ ତୃଷିତ ଥାଏ, ସିୟୋନ ପର୍ବତର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକାରୀ ସର୍ବଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟ ଲୋକସମୂହ ସେହିପରି ହେବେ। BSB BSB: as when a hungry man dreams he is eating, then awakens still hungry; as when a thirsty man dreams he is drinking, then awakens faint and parched. So will it be for all the many nations who go to battle against Mount Zion.
10 ULB କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଘୋର ନିଦ୍ରାଜନକ ଆତ୍ମା ଢାଳିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍-ବକ୍ତାଗଣରୂପ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ମୁଦ୍ରିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଦର୍ଶକଗଣ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ମସ୍ତକ ସେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: For the LORD has poured out on you a spirit of deep sleep. He has shut your eyes, O prophets; He has covered your heads, O seers.
12 ULB ଆଉ, ସେହି ପୁସ୍ତକ ଅଶିକ୍ଷିତ ଲୋକକୁ ଦେଇ, ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ କରି “ଏହା ପାଠ କର” କହିଲେ, ସେ କହେ, “ମୁଁ ଶିକ୍ଷିତ ଲୋକ ନୁହେଁ।” BSB BSB: Or if the scroll is handed to one unable to read, he will say, “I cannot read.”
13 ULB ଆହୁରି, ପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, “ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମୁଖରେ ଓ ଓଷ୍ଠାଧରରେ ଆମ୍ଭର ସମ୍ମାନ କରନ୍ତି, ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଆମ୍ଭଠାରୁ ଦୂରରେ ରଖିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟକ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ଭୟ, ତାହା ମନୁଷ୍ୟଠାରୁ ଶିକ୍ଷିତ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଅଟେ।” BSB BSB: Therefore the Lord said: “These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is but rules taught by men.
14 ULB ଏହେତୁ ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏକ ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ କର୍ମ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ ଓ ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କର୍ମ କରିବା, ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଜ୍ଞାନ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବିବେକୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଲୁଚାଯିବ। BSB BSB: Therefore I will again confound these people with wonder upon wonder. The wisdom of the wise will vanish, and the intelligence of the intelligent will be hidden.”
15 ULB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଗୁପ୍ତ କରିବାକୁ ଅତିଶୟ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର! ଆଉ, ସେମାନେ ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା କର୍ମ କରି କହନ୍ତି, “ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କିଏ ଦେଖୁଅଛି? ଓ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କିଏ ଚିହ୍ନୁଅଛି?” BSB BSB: Woe to those who dig deep to hide their plans from the LORD. In darkness they do their works and say, “Who sees us, and who will know?”
16 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିଷୟକୁ ଓଲଟାଇ ପକାଉଅଛ! କୁମ୍ଭକାର କି ମାଟିର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଗଣ୍ୟ ହେବ; “ଏ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ନିର୍ମାଣ କରି ନାହିଁ,” ନିର୍ମିତ ବସ୍ତୁ କି ନିର୍ମାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା ବିଷୟରେ ଏହା କହିବ? କିମ୍ବା “ତାହାର କିଛି ବୁଦ୍ଧି ନାହିଁ, ଗଢ଼ା ବସ୍ତୁ କି ଗଢ଼ିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବିଷୟରେ ଏହା କହିବ?” BSB BSB: You have turned things upside down, as if the potter were regarded as clay. Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, “He did not make me”? Can the pottery say of the potter, “He has no understanding”?
17 ULB ଅତି ଅଳ୍ପ କାଳ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଲିବାନୋନ କି ଫଳବାନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ପରିଣତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ ଓ ଫଳବାନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର କି ଅରଣ୍ୟ ବୋଲି ଗଣ୍ୟ ହେବ ନାହିଁ? BSB BSB: In a very short time, will not Lebanon become an orchard, and the orchard seem like a forest?
18 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେହି ଦିନରେ ବଧିର ପୁସ୍ତକର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣିବ, ପୁଣି, ତିମିର ଓ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଅନ୍ଧର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଦେଖିବ। BSB BSB: On that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of the deep darkness the eyes of the blind will see.
19 ULB ମଧ୍ୟ ନମ୍ର ଲୋକମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଆନନ୍ଦ ବଢ଼ାଇବେ ଓ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପଙ୍କଠାରେ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: The humble will increase their joy in the LORD, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
20 ULB କାରଣ ଭୟଙ୍କର ଲୋକ ଅକିଞ୍ଚନା ହୋଇଅଛି, ନିନ୍ଦକ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହେଉଅଛି ଓ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅଧର୍ମ ପାଇଁ ଜଗି ରହନ୍ତି, ସେସମସ୍ତେ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି; BSB BSB: For the ruthless will vanish, the mockers will disappear, and all who look for evil will be cut down—
21 ULB ସେମାନେ କଥାରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟକୁ ଦୋଷୀ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ନଗର ଦ୍ୱାରରେ ଦୋଷବକ୍ତା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଫାନ୍ଦ ପାତନ୍ତି ଓ ଅକାରଣରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ପ୍ରତି ଅନ୍ୟାୟ କରନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: those who indict a man with a word, who ensnare the mediator at the gate, and who with false charges deprive the innocent of justice.
22 ULB ଏହେତୁ ଅବ୍ରହାମର ମୁକ୍ତିକର୍ତ୍ତା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯାକୁବ ବଂଶ ବିଷୟରେ ଏହିପରି କହନ୍ତି; “ଯାକୁବ ଏବେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ତାହାର ମୁଖ ମଳିନ ହେବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Therefore the LORD who redeemed Abraham says of the house of Jacob: “No longer will Jacob be ashamed and no more will his face grow pale.
23 ULB ମାତ୍ର ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ଆପଣା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଦେଖିବ, ସେତେବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମକୁ ପବିତ୍ର କରି ମାନିବେ; ହଁ, ସେମାନେ ଯାକୁବର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପଙ୍କୁ ପବିତ୍ର ବୋଲି ମାନିବେ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ଭ୍ରମ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: For when he sees his children around him, the work of My hands, they will honor My name, they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and they will stand in awe of the God of Israel.
24 ULB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତମନା, ସେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବୁଦ୍ଧି ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବେ ଓ ବଚସାକାରୀମାନେ ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ-କଥା ଶିଖିବେ।” BSB BSB: Then the wayward in spirit will come to understanding, and those who grumble will accept instruction.”
