1 ULB ହେ ଦେଶୀୟଗଣ, ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ଶ୍ରବଣ କର, ହେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଗଣ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର; ପୃଥିବୀ ଓ ତତ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣତା ଶ୍ରବଣ କରୁ; ଜଗତ ଓ ତଦୁତ୍ପନ୍ନ ସକଳ ପଦାର୍ଥ ଶ୍ରବଣ କରୁ। BSB BSB: Come near, O nations, to listen; pay attention, O peoples. Let the earth hear, and all that fills it, the world and all that springs from it.
2 ULB କାରଣ ଦେଶୀୟ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର କ୍ରୋଧ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ସୈନ୍ୟସାମନ୍ତର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ କୋପ ଅଛି; ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ବିନାଶ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ହତ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The LORD is angry with all the nations and furious with all their armies. He will devote them to destruction; He will give them over to slaughter.
3 ULB ସେମାନଙ୍କର ହତ ଲୋକମାନେ ବାହାରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହେବେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶବରୁ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ଉଠିବ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ରକ୍ତରେ ପର୍ବତମାନ ତରଳି ଯିବ। BSB BSB: Their slain will be left unburied, and the stench of their corpses will rise; the mountains will flow with their blood.
4 ULB ପୁଣି, ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳର ସୈନ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତେ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇବେ ଓ ଗଗନମଣ୍ଡଳ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଗୁଡ଼ା ହେବ; ଆଉ, ଯେପରି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତାର ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣପତ୍ର ଓ ଡିମ୍ବିରି ବୃକ୍ଷର ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣପତ୍ର, ସେହିପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ୟସାମନ୍ତସବୁ କ୍ଷୟ ପାଇବେ। BSB BSB: All the stars of heaven will be dissolved. The skies will be rolled up like a scroll, and all their stars will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like foliage from the fig tree.
5 ULB କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭର ଖଡ୍ଗ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ରୂପେ ପାନ କରିଅଛି; ଦେଖ, ବିଚାର ସାଧନାର୍ଥେ ତାହା ଇଦୋମର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅଭିଶପ୍ତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଉପରେ ପଡ଼ିବ। BSB BSB: When My sword has drunk its fill in the heavens, then it will come down upon Edom, upon the people I have devoted to destruction.
6 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରକ୍ତରେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ, ମେଦରେ ଓ ଛାଗଗଣର ଗୁର୍ଦାର ମେଦରେ ପୁଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି; କାରଣ ବସ୍ରାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଏକ ଯଜ୍ଞ ଓ ଇଦୋମ ଦେଶରେ ଏକ ମହାହତ୍ୟାକାଣ୍ଡ ହେବ। BSB BSB: The sword of the LORD is bathed in blood. It drips with fat—with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah, a great slaughter in the land of Edom.
7 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବନ୍ୟଗୋରୁ, ବୃଷଭ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁବା ବୃଷ ଆସିବେ; ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଦେଶ ରକ୍ତରେ ମତ୍ତ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଧୂଳି ମେଦରେ ପୁଷ୍ଟ ହେବ। BSB BSB: And the wild oxen will fall with them, the young bulls with the strong ones. Their land will be drenched with blood, and their soil will be soaked with fat.
8 ULB କାରଣ ଏହା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧର ଦିନ, ଏହା ସିୟୋନର ବିବାଦ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ପ୍ରତିଫଳର ବର୍ଷ। BSB BSB: For the LORD has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for the cause of Zion.
9 ULB ପୁଣି, ତହିଁର ସ୍ରୋତସବୁ ଝୁଣାରେ, ତହିଁର ଧୂଳି ଗନ୍ଧକରେ ପରିଣତ ହେବ ଓ ତହିଁର ଭୂମି ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ଝୁଣା ହେବ। BSB BSB: Edom’s streams will be turned to tar, and her soil to sulfur; her land will become a blazing pitch.
10 ULB ତାହା ଦିବାରାତ୍ର ନିର୍ବାଣ ହେବ ନାହିଁ; ତହିଁର ଧୂମ ସଦାକାଳ ଉଠିବ; ପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମେ ତାହା ମରୁଭୂମି ହୋଇ ରହିବ; ଅନନ୍ତ କାଳ ତାହାର ମଧ୍ୟ ଦେଇ କେହି ଗମନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: It will not be quenched—day or night. Its smoke will ascend forever. From generation to generation it will lie desolate; no one will ever again pass through it.
11 ULB ମାତ୍ର ପାଣିଭେଳା ଓ ଝିଙ୍କ ତାହା ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ; ଆଉ, ପେଚା ଓ ଡାମରା କାଉ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ସେ ତହିଁ ଉପରେ ଅବସ୍ତୁତାରୂପ ମାନରଜ୍ଜୁ ଓ ଶୂନ୍ୟତାରୂପ ଓଳମ ଟାଣିବେ। BSB BSB: The desert owl and screech owl will possess it, and the great owl and raven will dwell in it. The LORD will stretch out over Edom a measuring line of chaos and a plumb line of destruction.
12 ULB ସେମାନେ ତହିଁର କୁଳୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବାକୁ ଡାକିବେ; ମାତ୍ର କେହି ସେଠାରେ ନ ଥିବେ ଓ ତହିଁର ଅଧିପତି ସମସ୍ତେ ଲୁପ୍ତ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: No nobles will be left to proclaim a king, and all her princes will come to nothing.
13 ULB ତହିଁର ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକାସକଳରେ କଣ୍ଟକ ଓ ତହିଁର ଦୁର୍ଗସବୁରେ ବିଛୁଆତି, କଣ୍ଟକ ଲତା ବଢ଼ିବ, ତାହା ଶୃଗାଳଗଣର ବାସସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ଓଟପକ୍ଷୀଗଣର ଚରାସ୍ଥାନ ହେବ। BSB BSB: Her towers will be overgrown with thorns, her fortresses with thistles and briers. She will become a haunt for jackals, an abode for ostriches.
14 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେଠାରେ ବନ୍ୟ ପଶୁଗଣ କେନ୍ଦୁଆମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମିଳିବେ ଓ ଛାଗ ଦେବତା ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗୀକୁ ଡାକିବ; ଆହୁରି, ନିଶାଚର ସେଠାରେ ବାସ କରି ବିଶ୍ରାମ ସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇବ। BSB BSB: The desert creatures will meet with hyenas, and one wild goat will call to another. There the night creature will settle and find her place of repose.
15 ULB ସେହି ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଡିଆଁ ସର୍ପ ଆପଣା ବସା କରି ଡିମ୍ବ ଦେବ ଓ ଛୁଆ ଫୁଟାଇ ଆପଣା ଛାୟା ତଳେ ଏକତ୍ର କରିବ; ଆହୁରି, ଚିଲମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗିନୀ ସହିତ ସେଠାରେ ଏକତ୍ର ହେବେ। BSB BSB: There the owl will make her nest; she will lay and hatch her eggs and gather her brood under her shadow. Even there the birds of prey will gather, each with its mate.
16 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନଳାକାର ପୁସ୍ତକରୁ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରି ପାଠ କର; ଏମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କେହି ଅନୁପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, କେହି ଆପଣା ସଙ୍ଗିନୀବିହୀନ ହେବ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ମୋ’ ମୁଖ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସେ ଏହା ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଆତ୍ମା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିଅଛି। BSB BSB: Search and read the scroll of the LORD: Not one of these will go missing, not one will lack her mate, because He has ordered it by His mouth, and He will gather them by His Spirit.
17 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଗୁଲିବାଣ୍ଟ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ପରିମାପକ ରଜ୍ଜୁ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହା ବିଭାଗ କରି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଇଅଛି; ସେମାନେ ତାହା ସଦା କାଳ ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ, ସେମାନେ ପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: He has allotted their portion; His hand has distributed it by measure. They will possess it forever; they will dwell in it from generation to generation.
