2 ULB କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପବିତ୍ର ନଗରର ଲୋକ ବୋଲି ଖ୍ୟାତ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖନ୍ତି; ତାହାଙ୍କର ନାମ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ। BSB BSB: who indeed call yourselves after the holy city and lean on the God of Israel; the LORD of Hosts is His name.
3 ULB ଆମ୍ଭେ ପୂର୍ବ କାଳର କଥା ପ୍ରାଚୀନ କାଳରୁ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଅଛୁ; ହଁ, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭ ମୁଖରୁ ନିର୍ଗତ ହେଲା ଓ ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା କଲୁ ଓ ଅକସ୍ମାତ୍ ସେହି ସବୁ ଘଟିଲା। BSB BSB: I foretold the former things long ago; they came out of My mouth and I proclaimed them. Suddenly I acted, and they came to pass.
4 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅବାଧ୍ୟ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗ୍ରୀବା ଲୌହନଳୀ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର କପାଳ ପିତ୍ତଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ବୋଲି ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିଲୁ। BSB BSB: For I knew that you are stubborn; your neck is iron and your forehead is bronze.
5 ULB ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରାଚୀନକାଳରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ତାହା ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲୁ; ତାହା ଘଟିବା ପୂର୍ବେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଜଣାଇଲୁ; ନୋହିଲେ ଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୁହନ୍ତ, “ଆମ୍ଭର ଦେବତା ଏହା କରିଅଛି,” “ଆମ୍ଭର ଖୋଦିତ ଓ ଛାଞ୍ଚରେ ଢଳା ପ୍ରତିମା ଏହା ଆଜ୍ଞା କରିଅଛି।” BSB BSB: Therefore I declared it to you long ago; I announced it before it came to pass, so that you could not claim, ‘My idol has done this; my carved image and molten god has ordained it.’
6 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଅଛ; ଏହିସବୁ ଦେଖ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କି ତାହା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବ ନାହିଁ? ଏହି ସମୟଠାରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନୂତନ ବିଷୟ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ନିଗୂଢ଼ ବିଷୟ ଦେଖାଇ ଅଛୁ। BSB BSB: You have heard these things; look at them all. Will you not acknowledge them? From now on I will tell you of new things, hidden things unknown to you.
7 ULB ସେହି ସବୁ ପୂର୍ବ କାଳରୁ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଏବେ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ହେଲା; ଆଜି ଦିନର ପୂର୍ବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଶୁଣିଲ ନାହିଁ; ନୋହିଲେ ଅବା ଦେଖ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ସବୁ ଜାଣିଲୁ ବୋଲି ତୁମ୍ଭେ କୁହନ୍ତ।” BSB BSB: They are created now, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today. So you cannot claim, ‘I already knew them!’
8 ULB ବାସ୍ତବିକ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଲ ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିଲ ନାହିଁ; ପୂର୍ବରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇ ନ ଥିଲା; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେ ଭାରୀ ବିଶ୍ୱାସଘାତକତା କଲ ଓ ଗର୍ଭରୁ ଅଧର୍ମାଚାରୀ ବୋଲି ବିଖ୍ୟାତ ହୋଇଥିଲ, ଏହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣିଲୁ। BSB BSB: You have never heard; you have never understood; for a long time your ears have not been open. For I knew how deceitful you are; you have been called a rebel from birth.
9 ULB ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ନ କରୁ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ନାମ ସକାଶୁ ଆପଣା କ୍ରୋଧ ସମ୍ବରଣ କରିବା ଓ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରଶଂସା ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ହେବା। BSB BSB: For the sake of My name I will delay My wrath; for the sake of My praise I will restrain it, so that you will not be cut off.
10 ULB ଦେଖ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପରିଷ୍କାର କରିଅଛୁ, ମାତ୍ର ରୂପା ପରି ନୁହେଁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଃଖରୂପ ଉହ୍ମାଇରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ମନୋନୀତ କରିଅଛୁ। BSB BSB: See, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.
11 ULB ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ସକାଶୁ, କେବଳ ଆପଣା ସକାଶୁ ତାହା କରିବା; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭର ନାମ କାହିଁକି ଅପବିତ୍ରୀକୃତ ହେବ? ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଗୌରବ ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ଦେବା ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: For My own sake, My very own sake, I will act; for how can I let Myself be defamed? I will not yield My glory to another.
12 ULB ହେ ଯାକୁବ, ହେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଆହୂତ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ, ଆମ୍ଭ ବାକ୍ୟରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କର; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେହି ଅଟୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ଆଦି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ହିଁ ଅନ୍ତ। BSB BSB: Listen to Me, O Jacob, and Israel, whom I have called: I am He; I am the first, and I am the last.
13 ULB ଆହୁରି, ଆମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତ ପୃଥିବୀର ଭିତ୍ତିମୂଳ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିଅଛି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ଡାହାଣ ହସ୍ତ ଗଗନମଣ୍ଡଳ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଅଛି; ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଡାକିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଏକତ୍ର ଛିଡ଼ା ହୁଅନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Surely My own hand founded the earth, and My right hand spread out the heavens; when I summon them, they stand up together.
14 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକତ୍ର ହୋଇ ଶୁଣ; ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିଏ ଏହିସବୁ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିଅଛି? ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାକୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ବାବିଲ ଉପରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ମନସ୍କାମନା ସିଦ୍ଧ କରିବ ଓ କଲ୍ଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ବାହୁ ରହିବ। BSB BSB: Come together, all of you, and listen: Which of the idols has foretold these things? The LORD’s chosen ally will carry out His desire against Babylon, and His arm will be against the Chaldeans.
15 ULB ଆମ୍ଭେ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ହିଁ ବାକ୍ୟ କହିଅଛୁ; ହଁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଆହ୍ୱାନ କରିଅଛୁ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଆଣିଅଛୁ, ଆଉ ସେ ଆପଣା ପଥରେ କୃତକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହେବ। BSB BSB: I, even I, have spoken; yes, I have called him. I have brought him, and he will succeed in his mission.
16 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ଏହି କଥା ଶୁଣ; ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରଥମରୁ ଗୋପନରେ କହି ନାହୁଁ; ତାହା ହେଉଥିବା ସମୟରୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସେଠାରେ ଅଛୁ; ପୁଣି, ଏବେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋତେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ପ୍ରେରଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Come near to Me and listen to this: From the beginning I have not spoken in secret; from the time it happened, I was there.” And now the Lord GOD has sent me, accompanied by His Spirit.
17 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୁକ୍ତିଦାତା, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପ, ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; “ଆମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉପକାରଜନକ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦେଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗନ୍ତବ୍ୟ ପଥରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଗମନ କରାଉ। BSB BSB: Thus says the LORD your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who directs you in the way you should go.
18 ULB ଆଃ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭ ଆଜ୍ଞାରେ ମନୋଯୋଗ କରିଥା’ନ୍ତ! ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶାନ୍ତି ନଦୀ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧାର୍ମିକତା ସମୁଦ୍ରର ତରଙ୍ଗ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହୋଇଥା’ନ୍ତା; BSB BSB: If only you had paid attention to My commandments, your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like waves of the sea.
19 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭର ବଂଶ ମଧ୍ୟ ବାଲୁକା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଔରସଜାତ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ତହିଁର କଣିକାସମୂହର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ହୋଇଥା’ନ୍ତେ; ତାହାର ନାମ ଆମ୍ଭ ସମ୍ମୁଖରୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କିଅବା ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇ ନ ଥା’ନ୍ତା। BSB BSB: Your descendants would have been as countless as the sand, and your offspring as numerous as its grains; their name would never be cut off or eliminated from My presence.”
20 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବାବିଲରୁ ବାହାରି ଯାଅ, କଲ୍ଦୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ପଳାଅ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗାୟନ ଧ୍ୱନିରେ ପ୍ରଚାର କରି ଜଣାଅ, ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଏହା ପ୍ରକାଶ କର; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କୁହ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଦାସ ଯାକୁବକୁ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।” BSB BSB: Leave Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! Declare it with a shout of joy, proclaim it, let it go out to the ends of the earth, saying, “The LORD has redeemed His servant Jacob!”
21 ULB ପୁଣି, ସେ ମରୁଭୂମି ଦେଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗମନ କରାଇବା ବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ତୃଷାର୍ତ୍ତ ନୋହିଲେ, ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଶୈଳରୁ ଜଳସ୍ରୋତ ବୁହାଇଲେ, ଆହୁରି ସେ ଶୈଳକୁ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲେ, ପୁଣି ତହିଁରୁ ଜଳ ନିର୍ଗତ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: They did not thirst when He led them through the deserts; He made water flow for them from the rock; He split the rock, and water gushed out.
22 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର କିଛି ଶାନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ।” BSB BSB: “There is no peace,” says the LORD, “for the wicked.”
