2 ULB ସେ ମୋତେ ଆଲୁଅରେ ନୁହେଁ, ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ଚଳାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He has driven me away and made me walk in darkness instead of light.
3 ULB ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ମୋ’ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଦିନସାରା ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ପୁନଃ ପୁନଃ ଫେରାଉ ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Indeed, He keeps turning His hand against me all day long.
4 ULB ସେ ମୋହର ମାଂସ ଓ ମୋର ଚର୍ମ ଜୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ମୋହର ଅସ୍ଥିସବୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ପକାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He has worn away my flesh and skin; He has shattered my bones.
5 ULB ସେ ମୋତେ ଅବରୁଦ୍ଧ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ମୋତେ ତିକ୍ତତା ଓ ଶ୍ରାନ୍ତିରେ ବେଷ୍ଟିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He has besieged me and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.
6 ULB ସେ ବହୁ କାଳରୁ ମୃତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ମୋତେ ଅନ୍ଧକାର ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବାସ କରାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He has made me dwell in darkness like those dead for ages.
7 ULB ସେ ମୋର ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ସୁରକ୍ଷାର ବାଡ଼ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯେପରି ମୁଁ ବାହାରି ଯାଇ ନ ପାରେ; ସେ ମୋହର ଜଞ୍ଜିର ଭାରୀ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He has walled me in so I cannot escape; He has weighed me down with chains.
8 ULB ହଁ, ମୁଁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ପାଇଁ ଆର୍ତ୍ତସ୍ୱର କଲେ, ସେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Even when I cry out and plead for help, He shuts out my prayer.
9 ULB ସେ କଟା ପଥରରେ ମୋହର ପଥ ଅବରୋଧ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ମୋର ପଥସବୁ ବକ୍ର କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He has barred my ways with cut stones; He has made my paths crooked.
10 ULB ସେ ମୋ’ ପ୍ରତି ଛକି ବସିଥିବା ଭାଲୁ ଓ ଅନ୍ତରାଳରେ ଥିବା ସିଂହ ପରି ଅଟନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He is a bear lying in wait, a lion hiding in ambush.
11 ULB ସେ ମୋର ପଥ ବିପଥ କରି ମୋତେ ଟାଣି ଖଣ୍ଡ ଖଣ୍ଡ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ମୋତେ ଅନାଥ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He forced me off my path and tore me to pieces; He left me without help.
12 ULB ସେ ଆପଣା ଧନୁରେ ଗୁଣ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋତେ ତୀର ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କରି ରଖିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He bent His bow and set me as the target for His arrow.
13 ULB ସେ ଆପଣା ତୂଣର ଶର ମୋହର ହୃଦୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରାଇଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He pierced my kidneys with His arrows.
14 ULB ମୁଁ ନିଜ ଲୋକସକଳର ଉପହାସର ବିଷୟ ଓ ଦିନସାରା ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗାୟନ ହୋଇଅଛି। BSB BSB: I am a laughingstock to all my people; they mock me in song all day long.
15 ULB ସେ ମୋତେ ତିକ୍ତତାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ନାଗଦଅଣାରେ ମୋତେ ପୂରିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He has filled me with bitterness; He has intoxicated me with wormwood.
16 ULB ଆହୁରି, ସେ କଙ୍କରରେ ମୋର ଦନ୍ତ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ଭସ୍ମରେ ମୋତେ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: He has ground my teeth with gravel and trampled me in the dust.
17 ULB ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଶାନ୍ତିରୁ ଦୂରରେ ରଖିଅଛ; ମୁଁ ଆନନ୍ଦ ପାସୋରି ଯାଇଅଛି। BSB BSB: My soul has been deprived of peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is.
18 ULB ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ କହିଲି, ମୋହର ବଳ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ମୋର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶା ନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି। BSB BSB: So I say, “My strength has perished, along with my hope from the LORD.”
19 ULB ମୋହର ଦୁଃଖ ଓ ଦୁର୍ଗତି ସ୍ମରଣ କର, ତାହା ନାଗଦଅଣା ଓ ବିଷ ସ୍ୱରୂପ। BSB BSB: Remember my affliction and wandering, the wormwood and the gall.
20 ULB ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ଏପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାହା ସ୍ମରଣରେ ରଖୁଅଛି ଓ ମୋ’ ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଅବସନ୍ନ ହେଉଅଛି। BSB BSB: Surely my soul remembers and is humbled within me.
21 ULB ମୁଁ ଏହା ମନରେ ସ୍ମରଣ କରୁଥାଏ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୋହର ଭରସା ଅଛି। BSB BSB: Yet I call this to mind, and therefore I have hope:
23 ULB ସେହିସବୁ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରଭାତରେ ନୂତନ ହୋଇଥାଏ; ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତା ମହତ୍ ଅଟେ। BSB BSB: They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!
24 ULB ମୋର ପ୍ରାଣ କୁହେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋହର ବାଣ୍ଟସ୍ୱରୂପ; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଭରସା ରଖିବି। BSB BSB: “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in Him.”
25 ULB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରାଣ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରେ, ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ସେ ମଙ୍ଗଳମୟ ଅଟନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him.
26 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପରିତ୍ରାଣର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଶା କରି ସୁସ୍ଥିର ଭାବରେ ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରିବାର ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ମଙ୍ଗଳ। BSB BSB: It is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.
27 ULB ଯୌବନ କାଳରେ ଯୁଆଳି ବୋହିବା ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ମଙ୍ଗଳ ଅଟେ। BSB BSB: It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is still young.
28 ULB ସେ ଏକାକୀ ବସି ନୀରବ ହୋଇ ରହୁ, କାରଣ ସେ ତାହାର ସ୍କନ୍ଧରେ ଯୁଆଳି ରଖି ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it upon him.
29 ULB ସେ ଧୂଳିରେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ରଖୁ; ତାହାହେଲେ ଅବା ଭରସା ଥାଇପାରେ। BSB BSB: Let him bury his face in the dust—perhaps there is still hope.
30 ULB ଯେ ତାହାକୁ ପ୍ରହାର କରେ, ସେ ତାହାକୁ ଆପଣା ଗାଲ ଦେଖାଇ ଦେଉ; ସେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଅପମାନରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଉ। BSB BSB: Let him offer his cheek to the one who would strike him; let him be filled with reproach.
31 ULB କାରଣ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାକାଳ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: For the Lord will not cast us off forever.
32 ULB କାରଣ ଯଦ୍ୟପି ସେ ଦୁଃଖ ଘଟାନ୍ତି, ତଥାପି ଆପଣାର ଅପାର ଦୟାନୁସାରେ ସେ କରୁଣା କରିବେ। BSB BSB: Even if He causes grief, He will show compassion according to His abundant loving devotion.
33 ULB କାରଣ ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣକୁ ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାରେ କ୍ଳେଶ କିଅବା ଦୁଃଖ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: For He does not willingly afflict or grieve the sons of men.
34 ULB ପୃଥିବୀର ବନ୍ଦୀସକଳ ପଦ ତଳେ ଦଳିତ ହେବାର, BSB BSB: To crush underfoot all the prisoners of the land,
35 ULB ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ସତ୍ତ୍ୱ ଅନ୍ୟଥା ହେବାର, BSB BSB: to deny a man justice before the Most High,
36 ULB ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ବିବାଦ ଅଯଥାର୍ଥ ରୂପେ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ହେବାର, ପ୍ରଭୁ ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: to subvert a man in his lawsuit—of these the Lord does not approve.
37 ULB ପ୍ରଭୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ନ କଲେ, ଯେ କଥା କହେ ଓ ତାହା ସିଦ୍ଧ ହୁଏ, ଏପରି କିଏ ଅଛି? BSB BSB: Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has ordained it?
38 ULB ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥଙ୍କ ମୁଖରୁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଓ ମଙ୍ଗଳ କି ନିର୍ଗତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ? BSB BSB: Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?
39 ULB ଜୀବିତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କାହିଁକି ଅସନ୍ତୋଷର କଥା କହେ, ଆପଣା ପାପର ଦଣ୍ଡ ସକାଶୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ କାହିଁକି ଅସନ୍ତୋଷର କଥା କହେ? BSB BSB: Why should any mortal man complain, in view of his sins?
40 ULB ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପଥ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ ଓ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରୁ, ପୁଣି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଫେରୁ। BSB BSB: Let us examine and test our ways, and turn back to the LORD.
41 ULB ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗ ନିବାସୀ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଡ଼େ କୃତାଞ୍ଜଳିପୂର୍ବକ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ହୃଦୟ ଉଠାଉ। BSB BSB: Let us lift up our hearts and hands to God in heaven:
42 ULB ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆଜ୍ଞା-ଲଙ୍ଘନ ଓ ବିଦ୍ରୋହାଚରଣ କରିଅଛୁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ଷମା କରି ନାହଁ। BSB BSB: “We have sinned and rebelled; You have not forgiven.”
43 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ଆଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ ହୋଇ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବଧ କରିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୟା କରି ନାହଁ। BSB BSB: You have covered Yourself in anger and pursued us; You have killed without pity.
44 ULB ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା ଯେପରି ଭେଦ କରି ଯାଇ ନ ପାରେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣାକୁ ମେଘରେ ଆଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ କରିଅଛ। BSB BSB: You have covered Yourself with a cloud that no prayer can pass through.
45 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଝଟା ଅଳିଆ ଓ ଅଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ ବସ୍ତୁ ତୁଲ୍ୟ କରିଅଛ। BSB BSB: You have made us scum and refuse among the nations.
46 ULB ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଶତ୍ରୁ ସମସ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଫର୍ଚ୍ଚା କରି ମେଲାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: All our enemies open their mouths against us.
47 ULB ତ୍ରାସ ଓ ଖାତ, ଉଜାଡ଼ ଓ ବିନାଶ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିଅଛି। BSB BSB: Panic and pitfall have come upon us—devastation and destruction.
48 ULB ମୋ’ ଲୋକଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟାର ବିନାଶ ସକାଶୁ ମୋ’ ଚକ୍ଷୁରୁ ଜଳଧାରା ବହୁଅଛି। BSB BSB: Streams of tears flow from my eyes over the destruction of the daughter of my people.
49 ULB ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରୁ ଅନାଇ ନ ଦେଖନ୍ତି, BSB BSB: My eyes overflow unceasingly, without relief,

52 ULB ବିନା କାରଣରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋହର ଶତ୍ରୁ, ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ପକ୍ଷୀ ପରି ମୃଗୟା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Without cause my enemies hunted me like a bird.
53 ULB ସେମାନେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରେ ମୋର ପ୍ରାଣ ସଂହାର କରି ମୋ’ ଉପରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ପକାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: They dropped me alive into a pit and cast stones upon me.
54 ULB ମୋ’ ମସ୍ତକର ଉପର ଦେଇ ଜଳ ବହିଗଲା ମୁଁ କହିଲି, ମୁଁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେଲି। BSB BSB: The waters flowed over my head, and I thought I was going to die.
55 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୁଁ ଗଭୀରତମ କୂପ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲି। BSB BSB: I called on Your name, O LORD, out of the depths of the Pit.
56 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ରବ ଶୁଣିଲ ମୋର ନିଶ୍ୱାସ, ମୋହର ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ ପ୍ରତି ଆପଣା କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଲୁଚାଅ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: You heard my plea: “Do not ignore my cry for relief.”
57 ULB ଯେଉଁ ଦିନ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଛାମୁରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କଲି, ସେଦିନ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହେଲ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ କହିଲ, ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: You drew near when I called on You; You said, “Do not be afraid.”
58 ULB ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋ’ ପ୍ରାଣର ବିବାଦସକଳର ସପକ୍ଷରେ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ କରିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ଜୀବନ ମୁକ୍ତ କରିଅଛ। BSB BSB: You defend my cause, O Lord; You redeem my life.
59 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୋ’ ପ୍ରତି କୃତ ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦେଖିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋହର ବିଚାର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କର। BSB BSB: You have seen, O LORD, the wrong done to me; vindicate my cause!
60 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧ ଓ ମୋ’ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୃତ ସଂକଳ୍ପସବୁ ଦେଖିଅଛ। BSB BSB: You have seen all their malice, all their plots against me.
61 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ତିରସ୍କାର ଓ ମୋ’ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୃତ ସଂକଳ୍ପସବୁ ଶୁଣିଅଛ; BSB BSB: O LORD, You have heard their insults, all their plots against me—
62 ULB ମୋ’ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉଠିଲା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଓଷ୍ଠାଧରର କଥା ଓ ଦିନଯାକ ମୋ’ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଳ୍ପନାସବୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଅଛ। BSB BSB: the slander and murmuring of my assailants against me all day long.
63 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବସିବାର ଓ ଉଠିବାର ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କର; ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗାୟନ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇଅଛି। BSB BSB: When they sit and when they rise, see how they mock me in song.
64 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମାନୁସାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବ। BSB BSB: You will pay them back what they deserve, O LORD, according to the work of their hands.
65 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିତ୍ତର କଠିନତା, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଅଭିଶାପ ଦେବ। BSB BSB: Put a veil of anguish over their hearts; may Your curse be upon them!
66 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ କ୍ରୋଧରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆକାଶମଣ୍ଡଳର ତଳୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବ। BSB BSB: You will pursue them in anger and exterminate them from under Your heavens, O LORD.
