9 ULB ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଜଣେ ଦୂତ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ, ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଗୌରବର ଆଲୋକ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଚାରିଅାଡ଼େ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲା, ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ଅତିଶୟ ଭୟଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ହେଲେ। BSB BSB: Just then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.

11 ULB କାରଣ ଆଜି ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନଗରରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତ୍ରାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା ଜନ୍ମଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ପ୍ରଭୁ। BSB BSB: Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord!

13 ULB ପୁଣି, ହଠାତ୍ ସେହି ଦୂତଙ୍କ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗୀୟ ବାହିନୀର ଗୋଟିଏ ବୃହତ ଦଳ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୋଇ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁ କରୁ କହିଲେ, BSB BSB: And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying:
14 ULB ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱଲୋକରେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ମହିମା, ପୁଣି, ପୃଥିବୀରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ସନ୍ତୋଷପାତ୍ର ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଶାନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests!”

20 ULB ଆଉ, ମେଷପାଳକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେପରି କୁହାଯାଇଥିଲା, ସେହିପରି ସେମାନେ ଯାହା ଯାହା ଶୁଣିଲେ ଓ ଦେଖିଲେ, ସେ ସମସ୍ତ ସକାଶେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଗୌରବ ଓ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁ କରୁ ଫେରିଗଲେ। BSB BSB: The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, which was just as the angel had told them.
22 ULB ପରେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଅନୁସାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଶୁଚି ହେବା ସମୟ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା, BSB BSB: And when the time of purification according to the Law of Moses was complete, His parents brought Him to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord

24 ULB ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ଲିଖିତ ଏହି ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାରେ ଲେଖାଯାଇଥିବା ଅନୁସାରେ ଦୁଇଟି ଘୁଘୁ ବା ଦୁଇଟି କାପ୍ତାଛୁଆ ବଳିଦାନ କରିବା ସକାଶେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ନେଇଗଲେ। BSB BSB: and to offer the sacrifice specified in the Law of the Lord: “A pair of turtledoves or two young pigeons.”
25 ULB ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଶିମିୟୋନ ନାମକ ଜଣେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଓ ଭକ୍ତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଥିଲେ; ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା ଅପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଥିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମା ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଅଧିଷ୍ଠାନ କରିଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: Now there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
26 ULB ପ୍ରଭୁ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କର ଦର୍ଶନ ନ ପାଇଲେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଯେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ହେବ ନାହିଁ, ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାଦେଶ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। BSB BSB: The Holy Spirit had revealed to him that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.
27 ULB ସେ ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଚାଳିତ ହୋଇ ମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଆସିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଶିଶୁ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପିତାମାତା ଯେତେବେଳେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ନିୟମ ଅନୁଯାୟୀ କର୍ମ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭିତରକୁ ଆଣିଲେ, BSB BSB: Led by the Spirit, he went into the temple courts. And when the parents brought in the child Jesus to do for Him what was customary under the Law,
28 ULB ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କୋଳରେ ଘେନି ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରି କହିଲେ, BSB BSB: Simeon took Him in his arms and blessed God, saying:

30 ULB କାରଣ ମୋହର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ଦେଖିଅଛି, BSB BSB: For my eyes have seen Your salvation,
31 ULB ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରି, BSB BSB: which You have prepared in the sight of all people,
32 ULB ଅଣଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସତ୍ୟ ପ୍ରକାଶକ ଆଲୋକ, ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଲୋକ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଗୌରବସ୍ୱରୁପ କରିଅଛ। BSB BSB: a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to Your people Israel.”
33 ULB ତାହାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ କୁହାଯାଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପିତାମାତା ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହେଉଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: The Child’s father and mother were amazed at what was spoken about Him.
34 ULB ଆଉ, ଶିମିୟୋନ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ମାତା ମରିୟମଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଦେଖ, ଯେପରି ଅନେକଙ୍କ ହୃଦୟର ଭାବନା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହୁଏ, BSB BSB: Then Simeon blessed them and said to His mother Mary: “Behold, this Child is appointed to cause the rise and fall of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against,

36 ULB ଆଉ ହାନ୍ନା ନାମ୍ନୀ ଜଣେ ଭାବବାଦିନୀ ଥିଲେ; ସେ ଆଶେର ବଂଶଜ ଫିନୂୟେଲଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟା। ତାହାଙ୍କର ଅନେକ ବୟସ ହୋଇଥିଲା; ସେ କୁମାରୀ ଅବସ୍ଥା ପରେ ସାତ ବର୍ଷ ସ୍ୱାମୀ ସହିତ ବାସ କରିଥିଲେ ଓ ଚଉରାଅଶୀ ବର୍ଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ବିଧବା ହୋଇ ରହିଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: There was also a prophetess named Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher, who was well along in years. She had been married for seven years,
37 ULB ସେ ମନ୍ଦିର ନ ଛାଡ଼ି ଉପବାସ ଓ ନିବେଦନ ସହ ଦିନରାତି ଉପାସନା କରୁଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: and then was a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the temple, but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.
38 ULB ସେହି ଦଣ୍ଡରେ ସେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୋଇ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରୁ କରୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ମୁକ୍ତି ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। BSB BSB: Coming forward at that moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the Child to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.
40 ULB ଆଉ, ଶିଶୁ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ ଓ ଜ୍ଞାନରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଉ ହେଉ ଶକ୍ତିମାନ ହେଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଥିଲା। BSB BSB: And the Child grew and became strong. He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him.
42 ULB ତାହାଙ୍କର ବାର ବର୍ଷ ସମୟରେ ସେମାନେ ପର୍ବର ରୀତି ଅନୁସାରେ ସେଠାକୁ ଯାତ୍ରା କଲେ। BSB BSB: And when He was twelve years old, they went up according to the custom of the Feast.
43 ULB ପର୍ବର ସମୟ ସମାପ୍ତ କରି ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ଫେରିଆସୁଥିଲେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ବାଳକ ଯୀଶୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ରହିଗଲେ, ଆଉ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପିତାମାତା ତାହା ଜାଣି ନ ଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: When those days were over and they were returning home, the boy Jesus remained behind in Jerusalem, but His parents were unaware He had stayed.
44 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ସହଯାତ୍ରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ମନେ କରି ସେମାନେ ଦିନକର ବାଟ ଚାଲିଗଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସମ୍ପର୍କୀୟ ଓ ପରିଚିତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଖୋଜିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, BSB BSB: Assuming He was in their company, they traveled on for a day before they began to look for Him among their relatives and friends.
45 ULB ଆଉ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ନ ପାଇ ଖୋଜୁ ଖୋଜୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଫେରିଗଲେ। BSB BSB: When they could not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem to search for Him.
46 ULB ତିନି ଦିନ ପରେ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ଦିରରେ ପାଇଲେ; ସେ ପଣ୍ଡିତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବସି ସେମାନଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣୁଥିଲେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ପଚାରୁଥିଲେ, BSB BSB: Finally, after three days they found Him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.
47 ULB ଆଉ ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣୁଥିଲେ, ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଓ ଉତ୍ତରରେ ଆଚମ୍ଭିତ ହେଉଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: And all who heard Him were astounded at His understanding and His answers.
48 ULB ସେମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ଦେଖି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟାନ୍ୱିତ ହେଲେ, ଆଉ ତାହାଙ୍କର ମାତା ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ପୁଅରେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି କାହିଁକି ଏପରି ବ୍ୟବହାର କଲୁ? ଦେଖ୍, ତୋର ବାପା ଓ ମୁଁ ଅତିଶୟ ବ୍ୟାକୁଳ ହୋଇ ତୋତେ ଖୋଜୁଅଛୁ। BSB BSB: When His parents saw Him, they were astonished. “Child, why have You done this to us?” His mother asked. “Your father and I have been anxiously searching for You.”
49 ULB ଏଥିରେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, କାହିଁକି ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋତେ ଖୋଜୁଥିଲ? ମୋହର ପିତାଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ରହିବା ଯେ ମୋହର କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ, ଏହା କ'ଣ ଜାଣି ନ ଥିଲ? BSB BSB: “Why were you looking for Me?” He asked. “Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house?”
50 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ କଥା କହିଲେ, ତାହା ସେମାନେ ବୁଝିଲେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: But they did not understand the statement He was making to them.
52 ULB ଆଉ, ଯୀଶୁ ଜ୍ଞାନରେ ଓ ଶରୀରରେ, ପୁଣି, ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଓ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ବୃଦ୍ଧି ପାଇଲେ। BSB BSB: And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.
