1 ULB ଇତିମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ଶିଷ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ପାଖକୁ ଡାକି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଶୁଚି ଆତ୍ମା ଛଡ଼ାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲେ, ପୁଣି, ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାର ରୋଗ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାର ପୀଡ଼ା ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲେ। BSB BSB: And calling His twelve disciples to Him, Jesus gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they could drive them out and heal every disease and sickness.
2 ULB ସେହି ଦ୍ୱାଦଶ ପ୍ରେରିତମାନଙ୍କ ନାମ ଏହି, ପ୍ରଥମରେ ଶିମୋନ, ଯାହାକୁ ପିତର ବୋଲି କହନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଭାଇ ଆନ୍ଦ୍ରିୟ, ଜେବଦୀଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯାକୁବ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଭାଇ ଯୋହନ, BSB BSB: These are the names of the twelve apostles: first Simon, called Peter, and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
3 ULB ଫିଲିପ୍ପ ଓ ବାର୍ଥଲମୀ, ଥୋମା ଓ କରଗ୍ରାହୀ ମାଥିଉ, ଆଲଫିଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର ଯାକୁବ ଓ ଥଦ୍ଦୀୟ, BSB BSB: Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
4 ULB କିଣାନୀୟ ଶିମୋନ ଓ ଈଷ୍କାରିୟୋତୀୟ ଯିହୂଦା, ଯେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଶତ୍ରୁ ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲା। BSB BSB: Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.
6 ULB ବରଂ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବଂଶର ହଜିଯାଇଥିବା ମେଷମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଯାଅ। BSB BSB: Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.
7 ULB ପୁଣି, ଯାଉ ଯାଉ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରାଜ୍ୟ ସନ୍ନିକଟ, ଏହି କଥା କହି ଘୋଷଣା କର। BSB BSB: As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’
8 ULB ପୀଡ଼ିତମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କର, ମୃତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉଠାଅ, କୁଷ୍ଠୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଶୁଚି କର, ଭୂତମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାହାର କର। ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିନାମୂଲ୍ୟରେ ପାଇଅଛ, ବିନାମୂଲ୍ୟରେ ଦାନ କର। BSB BSB: Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
9 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଗାଞ୍ଜିଆରେ ସୁନା କି ରୂପା କି ତମ୍ବା, ଆଉ ଯାତ୍ରା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଝୋଲି BSB BSB: Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts.
10 ULB କିମ୍ବା ଦୁଇଟି ଅଙ୍ଗରଖା ଅବା ଜୋତା କିମ୍ବା ବାଡ଼ି ଆୟୋଜନ କର ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକାରୀ ଆପଣା ଆହାରର ଯୋଗ୍ୟ। BSB BSB: Take no bag for the road, or second tunic, or sandals, or staff; for the worker is worthy of his provisions.
11 ULB ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେକୌଣସି ନଗରରେ କି ଗ୍ରାମରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ, ସେଠାରେ କେଉଁ ଲୋକ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ, ତାହା ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କର, ପୁଣି, ନ ଯିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେଠାରେ ରୁହ। BSB BSB: Whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy there and stay at his house until you move on.
12 ULB ଆଉ ଗୃହରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ତାହାକୁ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କର; BSB BSB: As you enter the home, greet its occupants.
13 ULB ସେହି ଗୃହ ଯେବେ ଯୋଗ୍ୟ, ତେବେ ତାହା ପ୍ରତି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶାନ୍ତି ବର୍ତ୍ତୁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତାହା ଯଦି ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ, ତାହାହେଲେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଶାନ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଫେରିଆସୁ। BSB BSB: If the home is worthy, let your peace rest on it, but if it is not, let your peace return to you.
14 ULB ପୁଣି, ଯେ କେହି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବ ନାହିଁ ଅବା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣିବ ନାହିଁ, ସେହି ଗୃହରୁ କିମ୍ବା ସେହି ନଗରରୁ ବାହାରିଯିବା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଦଧୂଳି ଝାଡ଼ିଦିଅ। BSB BSB: And if anyone will not welcome you or heed your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.
15 ULB ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ବିଚାର ଦିନରେ ସେହି ନଗରର ଦଶା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ସଦୋମ ଓ ଗମୋରା ଦେଶର ଦଶା ସହନୀୟ ହେବ। BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.
16 ULB ଦେଖ, ବାଘମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମେଣ୍ଢାମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଉଅଛି, ଅତଏବ ସର୍ପ ପରି ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ଓ କପୋତ ପରି ଅହିଂସକ ହୁଅ। BSB BSB: Behold, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves; therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.
17 ULB ମାତ୍ର ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସାବଧାନ ହୋଇଥାଅ, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିଚାରସଭାମାନଙ୍କରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବେ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସମାଜଗୃହ ସମୂହରେ କୋରଡ଼ା ମାରିବେ, BSB BSB: But beware of men, for they will hand you over to their councils and flog you in their synagogues.
18 ULB ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋ ସକାଶେ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ଓ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଅଣାଯିବ; ତାହା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ଅଣଯିହୂଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ। BSB BSB: On My account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles.
19 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କିପରି ବାକି କଥା କହିବ, ସେ ବିଷୟରେ ଚିନ୍ତିତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ, କାରଣ କ'ଣ କହିବ, ତାହା ସେହି ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଆଯିବ। BSB BSB: But when they hand you over, do not worry about how to respond or what to say. In that hour you will be given what to say.
20 ULB ଯେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବକ୍ତା ନୁହଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପିତାଙ୍କ ଆତ୍ମା ଯେ କି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତରରେ କଥା କହନ୍ତି, ସେ ବକ୍ତା ଅଟନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: For it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
21 ULB ଭାଇ ଭାଇକୁ ଓ ପିତା ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ମୃତ୍ୟୁଭୋଗ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବେ, ପୁଣି, ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ପିତାମାତାଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଉଠି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rise against their parents and have them put to death.
22 ULB ଆଉ ମୋହର ନାମ ସକାଶେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଘୃଣିତ ହେବ, ମାତ୍ର ଯେ ଶେଷ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଧରି ରହିବ, ସେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପାଇବ। BSB BSB: You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
23 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେମାନେ ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏକ ନଗରରେ ତାଡ଼ନା କରିବେ, ସେତେବେଳେ ଅନ୍ୟ ନଗରକୁ ପଳାଇଯାଅ, କାରଣ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ନଗରଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରମଣ ଶେଷ ନ ହେବା ପୂର୍ବରୁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର ଆଗମନ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next. Truly I tell you, you will not reach all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
24 ULB ଶିଷ୍ୟ ଗୁରୁଠାରୁ କିମ୍ବା ଦାସ କର୍ତ୍ତାଠାରୁ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ନୁହେଁ। BSB BSB: A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
25 ULB ଶିଷ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ଗୁରୁ ଓ ଦାସ ଆପଣା କର୍ତ୍ତା ପରି ହେଲେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ। ସେମାନେ ଯେବେ ଗୃହ କର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ବାଲ୍ଜିବୂଲ୍ ବୋଲି କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତେବେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ପରିଜନଙ୍କୁ ତ ଆହୁରି ଅଧିକ କହିବେ। BSB BSB: It is enough for a disciple to be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household!
26 ULB ଅତଏବ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ଯାହା ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ନ ହେବ, ଏପରି ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କିଛି ନାହିଁ, ଆଉ ଯାହା ଜଣା ନ ଯିବ, ଏପରି ଗୁପ୍ତ କିଛି ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: So do not be afraid of them. For there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known.
27 ULB ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯାହା ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ କହେ, ତାହା ଆଲୋକରେ କୁହ, ପୁଣି, ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଗୋପନରେ ଶୁଣ, ତାହା ଘର ଛାତ ଉପରେ ଘୋଷଣା କର। BSB BSB: What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops.
30 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମସ୍ତକର ସମସ୍ତ କେଶ ହିଁ ଗଣାଯାଇଅଛି। BSB BSB: And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 ULB ଏଣୁ ଭୟ କର ନାହିଁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅନେକ ଘରଚଟିଆ ଠାରୁ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ। BSB BSB: So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
33 ULB ମାତ୍ର ଯେ କେହି ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ମୋତେ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିବ, ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ମୋହର ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ପିତାଙ୍କ ଆଗରେ ତାହାକୁ ଅସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିବି। BSB BSB: But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.
35 ULB କାରଣ ମୁଁ ପିତାଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପୁତ୍ରର ଓ ମାତା ସହିତ କନ୍ୟାର ପୁଣି, ଶାଶୁ ସହିତ ବୋହୁର ବିରୋଧ ବଢାଇବାକୁ ଆସିଅଛି, BSB BSB: For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 ULB ଆଉ ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ନିଜ ପରିଜନ ହିଁ ତାହାର ଶତ୍ରୁ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’
39 ULB ଯେ ଆପଣା ଜୀବନ ବଞ୍ଚାଏ, ସେ ତାହା ହରାଇବ, ଆଉ ଯେ ମୋ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆପଣା ଜୀବନ ହରାଏ, ସେ ତାହା ବଞ୍ଚାଇବ। BSB BSB: Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
40 ULB ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ, ସେ ମୋତେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ, ଆଉ ଯେ ମୋତେ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ, ସେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରେରଣକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ। BSB BSB: He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives the One who sent Me.
41 ULB ଯେ ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କୁ ଭାବବାଦୀ ବୋଲି ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ, ସେ ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇବ। ଆଉ ଯେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବୋଲି ଗ୍ରହଣ କରେ, ସେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପାଇବ। BSB BSB: Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward.
42 ULB ପୁଣି, ଯେ କେହି ଏହି କ୍ଷୁଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣକୁ ମୋହର ଶିଷ୍ୟ ବୋଲି କେବଳ ଗିନାଏ ଥଣ୍ଡା ପାଣି ପିଇବାକୁ ଦେବ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ସେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାରେ ଆପଣା ପୁରସ୍କାର ହରାଇବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is My disciple, truly I tell you, he will never lose his reward.”
