1 ULB ଯୀଶୁ ପର୍ବତରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆସନ୍ତେ ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଚାଲିଲେ। BSB BSB: When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.
2 ULB ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ଜଣେ କୁଷ୍ଠୀ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସି ପ୍ରଣାମ କରି କହିଲା, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆପଣ ଯଦି ଇଚ୍ଛା କରନ୍ତି, ତାହାହେଲେ ମୋତେ ଶୁଚି କରି ପାରନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
3 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସେ ହାତ ବଢ଼ାଇ ତାହାକୁ ଛୁଇଁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଅଛି, ଶୁଚି ହୁଅ। ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ସେ ଆପଣା କୁଷ୍ଠରୋଗରୁ ଶୁଚି ହେଲା। BSB BSB: Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 ULB ଆଉ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, ସାବଧାନ, କାହାକୁ କୁହ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ଯାଅ, ଯାଜକଙ୍କୁ ନିଜକୁ ଦେଖାଅ, ପୁଣି, ମୋଶା ଯେଉଁ ନୈବେଦ୍ୟ ବିଷୟରେ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଇଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କର। BSB BSB: Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”
5 ULB ଯୀଶୁ କଫର୍ନାହୂମରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରନ୍ତେ ଜଣେ ଶତସେନାପତି ତାହାଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସି ବିନତି କରି କହିଲେ, BSB BSB: When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came and pleaded with Him,
6 ULB ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୋହର ଦାସ ପକ୍ଷାଘାତ ରୋଗରେ ଅତିଶୟ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ପାଇ ଗୃହରେ ଶଯ୍ୟାଗତ ଅଛି। BSB BSB: “Lord, my servant lies at home, paralyzed and in terrible agony.”
7 ULB ସେ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ଯାଇ ତାହାକୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କରିବି। BSB BSB: “I will go and heal him,” Jesus replied.
8 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଶତସେନାପତି ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଲେ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆପଣ ଯେ ମୋ' ଘରେ ପାଦ ପକାଇବେ, ମୁଁ ଏପରି ଯୋଗ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ; କିନ୍ତୁ କେବଳ ପଦେ ଆଜ୍ଞା କରନ୍ତୁ, ମୋହର ଦାସ ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେବ। BSB BSB: The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9 ULB କାରଣ ମୁଁ ପରାଧୀନ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ହେଲେ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ମୋହର ଅଧୀନରେ ସୈନ୍ୟମାନେ ଅଛନ୍ତି; ମୁଁ ଜଣକୁ ଯାଅ କହିଲେ ସେ ଯାଏ; ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ଆସ କହିଲେ ସେ ଆସେ; ପୁଣି, ମୋହର ଦାସକୁ ଏହା କର କହିଲେ ସେ କରେ। BSB BSB: For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes, and another to come, and he comes. I tell my servant to do something, and he does it.”
10 ULB ଯୀଶୁ ଏହା ଶୁଣି ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହୋଇ ପଛରେ ଆସୁଥିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସତ୍ୟ କହୁଅଛି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କାହାରିଠାରେ ଏଡ଼େ ବଡ଼ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ପାଇ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
11 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କହୁଅଛି, ଅନେକେ ପୂର୍ବ ଓ ପଶ୍ଚିମରୁ ଆସି ଅବ୍ରାହାମ, ଇସ୍ହାକ ଓ ଯାକୁବଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରାଜ୍ୟରେ ଭୋଜନରେ ବସିବେ, BSB BSB: I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
12 ULB ମାତ୍ର ରାଜ୍ୟର ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ବାହାର ଅନ୍ଧକାରରେ ପକାଯିବେ; ସେଠାରେ ରୋଦନ ଓ ଦନ୍ତର କିଡ଼ିମିଡ଼ି ହେବ। BSB BSB: But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13 ULB ଆଉ ଯୀଶୁ ଶତସେନାପତିଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଯାଅ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯେପରି ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରୁଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ସେହିପରି ହେଉ। ସେହିକ୍ଷଣି ଦାସଟି ସୁସ୍ଥ ହେଲା। BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.
15 ULB ସେଥିରେ ସେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କଲେ, ଆଉ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ୱର ଛାଡ଼ିଗଲା, ପୁଣି, ସେ ଉଠି ତାହାଙ୍କର ସେବା କରିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ। BSB BSB: So He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve Him.
16 ULB ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟା ହୁଅନ୍ତେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଅନେକ ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆଣିଲେ, ସେଥିରେ ସେ କଥା ମାତ୍ରକେ ଭୂତଗୁଡ଼ାକୁ ଛଡ଼ାଇଲେ ଏବଂ ସମସ୍ତ ପୀଡ଼ିତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସୁସ୍ଥ କଲେ, BSB BSB: When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
17 ULB ଯେପରି ଯିଶାଇୟ ଭାବବାଦୀଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉକ୍ତ ଏହି ବାକ୍ୟ ସଫଳ ହୁଏ, ସେ ନିଜେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଦୁର୍ବଳତାସବୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ ଓ ବ୍ୟାଧିସବୁ ବହନ କଲେ। BSB BSB: This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.”
18 ULB ଯୀଶୁ ଆପଣାର ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଲୋକସମୂହ ଦେଖି ଆରପାରିକୁ ଯିବା ପାଇଁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଲେ। BSB BSB: When Jesus saw a large crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the sea.
19 ULB ପୁଣି, ଜଣେ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି କହିଲେ, ହେ ଗୁରୁ, ଆପଣ ଯେକୌଣସି ସ୍ଥାନକୁ ଯିବେ, ମୁଁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗମନ କରିବି। BSB BSB: And one of the scribes came to Him and said, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
20 ULB ସେଥିରେ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, କୋକିଶିଆଳିର ଗାତ ଅଛି, ଆକାଶ ପକ୍ଷୀର ବସା ଅଛି, ମାତ୍ର ମନୁଷ୍ୟପୁତ୍ରର ମୁଣ୍ଡ ଗୁଞ୍ଜିବାର ସ୍ଥାନ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”
21 ULB ପୁଣି, ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଆଉ ଜଣେ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ପ୍ରଥମେ ଯାଇ ମୋହର ପିତାଙ୍କୁ ସମାଧି ଦେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୋତେ ଅନୁମତି ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: Another of His disciples requested, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଯୀଶୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ମୋହର ଅନୁଗମନ କର, ମୃତମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମୃତ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ସମାଧି ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଛାଡ଼ିଦିଅ। BSB BSB: But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
23 ULB ସେ ନୌକାରେ ଚଢ଼ନ୍ତେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶିଷ୍ୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଗଲେ। BSB BSB: When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
24 ULB ପୁଣି, ଦେଖ, ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ଏପରି ପ୍ରବଳ ଝଡ଼ ହେଲା ଯେ, ତରଙ୍ଗରେ ନୌକାଟି ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ ହେବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲା, ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଶୋଇଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves. But Jesus was sleeping.
25 ULB ଆଉ ସେମାନେ ପାଖକୁ ଆସି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଉଠାଇ କହିଲେ, ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତୁ, ଆମେ ମଲୁ। BSB BSB: The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26 ULB ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ହେ ଅଳ୍ପ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କାହିଁକି ଏଡ଼େ ଭୀରୁ? ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ ଉଠି ପବନ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ଧମକ ଦେଲେ, ଆଉ ସବୁ ଧିରସ୍ଥିର ହେଲା। BSB BSB: “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.
27 ULB ସେଥିରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଚମତ୍କୃତ ହୋଇ କହିଲେ, ଏ କିପରି ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଯେ ପବନ ଓ ସମୁଦ୍ର ଉଭୟ ଏହାଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ମାନନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”
28 ULB ପରେ ଆରପାରିରେ ଗଦରୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ ଦୁଇ ଜଣ ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ସମାଧିସ୍ଥାନରୁ ବାହାରି ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଏପରି ଦୁର୍ଦ୍ଦାନ୍ତ ଥିଲେ ଯେ, ସେହି ବାଟ ଦେଇ କେହି ଯିବା ଆସିବା କରି ପାରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ। BSB BSB: When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, He was met by two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
29 ULB ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ସେମାନେ ଚିତ୍କାର କରି କହିଲେ, ହେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ପୁତ୍ର, ତୁମ୍ଭ ସାଙ୍ଗରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କ'ଣ ଅଛି? ସମୟ ନ ହେଉଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଦେବା ପାଇଁ ଏଠାକୁ ଆସିଲ? BSB BSB: “What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
30 ULB ଆଉ ସେମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଦୂରରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ବଡ଼ ଘୁଷୁରିପଲ ଚରୁଥିଲା। BSB BSB: In the distance a large herd of pigs was feeding.
31 ULB ଏଥିରେ ଭୂତଗୁଡ଼ାକ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ବିନତି କରି କହିବାକୁ ଲାଗିଲେ, ଯେବେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛଡ଼ାଅ, ତେବେ ଘୁଷୁରିପଲ ଭିତରକୁ ପଠାଇଦିଅ। BSB BSB: So the demons begged Jesus, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32 ULB ଯୀଶୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଯାଅ। ସେଥିରେ ସେମାନେ ବାହାରି ଘୁଷୁରିଗୁଡ଼ାକ ଭିତରେ ପଶିଲେ; ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ପଲଯାକ ଅତି ବେଗରେ ଦୌଡ଼ିଯାଇ ତୀଖସ୍ଥାନ ଦେଇ ସମୁଦ୍ରରେ ପଡ଼ି ବୁଡ଼ି ମଲେ। BSB BSB: “Go!” He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.
33 ULB ପୁଣି, ଚରାଉଥିବା ଲୋକମାନେ ପଳାଇଗଲେ ଏବଂ ନଗରକୁ ଯାଇ ସମସ୍ତ ଘଟଣା ଓ ଭୂତଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯାହା ଯାହା ଘଟିଥିଲା, ସେହି ସବୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ। BSB BSB: Those tending the pigs ran off into the town and reported all this, including the account of the demon-possessed men.
34 ULB ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ନଗରର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିବା ପାଇଁ ବାହାରି ଆସିଲେ, ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସୀମାରୁ ଚାଲିଯିବା ପାଇଁ ବିନତି କଲେ। BSB BSB: Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
