4 ULB ଗୁଣବତୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଆପଣା ସ୍ୱାମୀର ମୁକୁଟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ; ମାତ୍ର ଲଜ୍ଜାଦାୟିନୀ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ତାହାର ହାଡ଼ସବୁର କ୍ଷୟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ। BSB BSB: A wife of noble character is her husband’s crown, but she who causes shame is like decay in his bones.
5 ULB ଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କର ସଂକଳ୍ପ ଯଥାର୍ଥ; ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କର ପରାମର୍ଶ ପ୍ରବଞ୍ଚନାଯୁକ୍ତ। BSB BSB: The plans of the righteous are just, but the counsel of the wicked leads to deceit.

7 ULB ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ଉତ୍ପାଟିତ ହୋଇ ଆଉ ନ ଥାଆନ୍ତି, ମାତ୍ର ଧାର୍ମିକମାନଙ୍କର ଗୃହ ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ହେବ। BSB BSB: The wicked are overthrown and perish, but the house of the righteous will stand.

9 ULB ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକ ତୁଚ୍ଛୀକୃତ, ଆଉ ଯାହାର ଦାସ ଅଛି, ସେ ଖାଦ୍ୟହୀନ ଆତ୍ମପ୍ରଶଂସୀଠାରୁ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ। BSB BSB: Better to be lightly esteemed yet have a servant, than to be self-important but lack food.

13 ULB ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଆପଣା ଓଷ୍ଠର ଅଧର୍ମ ସକାଶୁ ଫାନ୍ଦରେ ପଡିଥାଏ, ମାତ୍ର ଧାର୍ମିକ ଦୁଃଖରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇବ। BSB BSB: An evil man is trapped by his rebellious speech, but a righteous man escapes from trouble.
14 ULB ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଆପଣା ମୁଖର ଫଳ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମଙ୍ଗଳରେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ହେବ, ପୁଣି, ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମଫଳ ତାହାକୁ ଦିଆଯିବ। BSB BSB: By fruitful speech a man is filled with good things, and the work of his hands returns to him.

22 ULB ମିଥ୍ୟାବାଦୀ ଓଷ୍ଠ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଘୃଣା ବିଷୟ; ମାତ୍ର ଯେଉଁମାନେ ସତ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ତୁଷ୍ଟିକର। BSB BSB: Lying lips are detestable to the LORD, but those who deal faithfully are His delight.
23 ULB ଚତୁର ଲୋକ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କରେ; ମାତ୍ର ମୂର୍ଖମାନଙ୍କର ମନ ଅଜ୍ଞାନତା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରେ। BSB BSB: A shrewd man keeps his knowledge to himself, but a foolish heart proclaims its folly.
24 ULB କର୍ମଶୀଳର ହସ୍ତ କର୍ତ୍ତୃତ୍ୱ କରିବ; ମାତ୍ର ଅଳସୁଆ ଲୋକ ବେଠି କରିବ। BSB BSB: The hand of the diligent will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.
