1 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଦୂରରେ ଠିଆ ହେଉଅଛ? ସଙ୍କଟ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ କାହିଁକି ଆପଣାକୁ ଲୁଚାଉଅଛ? BSB BSB: Why, O LORD, do You stand far off? Why do You hide in times of trouble?
2 ULB ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ଗର୍ବରେ ଦରିଦ୍ର ତପ୍ତ ଭାବରେ ତାଡ଼ିତ ହୁଏ; ସେମାନେ, ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ କଳ୍ପିତ କୌଶଳରେ ଧରା ପଡ଼ନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: In pride the wicked pursue the needy; let them be caught in the schemes they devise.
3 ULB କାରଣ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଆପଣା ମନୋବାଞ୍ଛା ବିଷୟରେ ଦର୍ପ କରେ; ଆଉ, ଲୋଭୀ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରେ, ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅବଜ୍ଞା କରେ। BSB BSB: For the wicked man boasts in the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles the LORD.
4 ULB ସେ ତାହା ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ ବୋଲି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଆପଣା ମୁଖର ଅହଙ୍କାରରେ କହେ, ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ନାହାନ୍ତି, ଏହା ତାହାର ସକଳ ଚିନ୍ତାର ସାର। BSB BSB: In his pride the wicked man does not seek Him; in all his schemes there is no God.
5 ULB ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ଗତି ସର୍ବଦା ଦୃଢ଼; ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶାସନ ତାହାର ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୁ ଅତି ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱବର୍ତ୍ତୀ, ସେ ଆପଣାର ସମସ୍ତ ବିପକ୍ଷ ପ୍ରତି ଫୁତ୍କାର କରେ। BSB BSB: He is secure in his ways at all times; Your lofty judgments are far from him; he sneers at all his foes.
6 ULB ସେ ଆପଣା ମନେ ମନେ କହେ, “ମୋ’ ପ୍ରତି କିଛି ବିପଦ ଘଟିବ ନାହିଁ; ପୁରୁଷାନୁକ୍ରମେ ମୁଁ ବିପଦଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ନୋହିବି।” BSB BSB: He says to himself, “I will not be moved; from age to age I am free of distress.”
7 ULB ତାହାର ମୁଖ ଅଭିଶାପ, ଛଳନା ଓ ଉପଦ୍ରବରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ; ତାହାର ଜିହ୍ୱା ତଳେ ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଅଧର୍ମ ଥାଏ। BSB BSB: His mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and violence; trouble and malice are under his tongue.
8 ULB ସେ ଗ୍ରାମର ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ବସେ; ସେ ଆବୃତ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦୋଷକୁ ହତ୍ୟା କରେ; ଅସହାୟ ଲୋକର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ତାହାର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଗୋପନରେ ଥାଏ। BSB BSB: He lies in wait near the villages; in ambush he slays the innocent; his eyes watch in stealth for the helpless.
9 ULB ଯେପରି ସିଂହ ଆପଣା ଗହ୍ୱରରେ, ସେପରି ସେ ଆବୃତ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ଛକି ବସେ, ସେ ଦରିଦ୍ରକୁ ଧରିବା ପାଇଁ ଛକି ବସେ; ସେ ଶିକାରୀ ସଦୃଶ୍ୟ ଦରିଦ୍ରକୁ ଧରି ଆପଣା ଜାଲରେ ଟାଣେ। BSB BSB: He lies in wait like a lion in a thicket; he lurks to seize the oppressed; he catches the lowly in his net.
10 ULB ସେ ଛକି ବସେ, ସେ ନଇଁ ପଡ଼େ, ତହୁଁ ଅସହାୟ ଲୋକେ ତାହାର ବଳିଷ୍ଠମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପତିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: They are crushed and beaten down; the helpless fall prey to his strength.
11 ULB ସେ ଆପଣା ମନେ ମନେ କହେ, “ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ପାସୋରି ଯାଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେ ଆପଣା ମୁଖ ଲୁଚାନ୍ତି; ସେ କେବେ ତାହା ଦେଖିବେ ନାହିଁ।” BSB BSB: He says to himself, “God has forgotten; He hides His face and never sees.”
12 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଉଠ; ହେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତ ଉଠାଅ; ଦୁଃଖୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ପାସୋର ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Arise, O LORD! Lift up Your hand, O God! Do not forget the helpless.
13 ULB ଦୁଷ୍ଟଲୋକ କାହିଁକି ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କୁ ଅବଜ୍ଞା କରେ ଓ “ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରିବ ନାହିଁ” ବୋଲି ସେ ଆପଣା ମନେ ମନେ କହେ? BSB BSB: Why has the wicked man renounced God? He says to himself, “You will never call me to account.”
14 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଦେଖିଅଛ; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ହସ୍ତକ୍ଷେପ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଉପଦ୍ରବ ଓ ଦ୍ୱେଷ ପ୍ରତି ଦୃଷ୍ଟି କରୁଅଛ; ଅସହାୟ ଲୋକ ଆପଣାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭଠାରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରେ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପିତୃହୀନର ସହାୟ ହୋଇଅଛ। BSB BSB: But You have regarded trouble and grief; You see to repay it by Your hand. The victim entrusts himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.
15 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ବାହୁ ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଦିଅ; ଆଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମନ୍ଦଲୋକର କୌଣସି ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ନ ପାଇବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତାହା ଅନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କର। BSB BSB: Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer; call him to account for his wickedness until none is left to be found.
16 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ରାଜା ଅଟନ୍ତି; ଅନ୍ୟ ଦେଶୀୟମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଦେଶରୁ ଲୁପ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The LORD is King forever and ever; the nations perish from His land.
17 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ନମ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ବାଞ୍ଛା ଶୁଣିଅଛ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରିବ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିବା ପାଇଁ ଆପଣା କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଡେରିବ; BSB BSB: You have heard, O LORD, the desire of the humble; You will strengthen their hearts. You will incline Your ear,
18 ULB ପିତୃହୀନ ଓ ଉପଦ୍ରବଗ୍ରସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରିବ, ତହିଁରେ ମୃତ୍ତିକାଜାତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଆଉ ଭୟଙ୍କର ହୋଇ ପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: to vindicate the fatherless and oppressed, that the men of the earth may strike terror no more.
