1. 1ULBଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବାବିଲୀୟ ନଦୀମାନର ନିକଟରେ ସିୟୋନକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କଲା ବେଳେ ସେଠାରେ ବସିଲୁ ଓ ରୋଦନ କଲୁ।BSBBSB: By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept when we remembered Zion.
2. 2ULBଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେଠାସ୍ଥିତ ବାଇଶୀ ବୃକ୍ଷରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବୀଣା ଟଙ୍ଗାଇ ରଖିଲୁ।BSBBSB: There on the willows we hung our harps,
3. 3ULBକାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ବନ୍ଦୀ କରି ଘେନି ଯାଇଥିବା ଲୋକେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଗୀତ ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ, ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପଦ୍ରବୀଗଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଆନନ୍ଦ-ସ୍ୱର ଶୁଣିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରି କହିଲେ, “ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ସିୟୋନର ଗୋଟିଏ ଗୀତ ଗାନ କର।”BSBBSB: for there our captors requested a song; our tormentors demanded songs of joy: “Sing us a song of Zion.”
4. 4ULBଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ବିଦେଶରେ କିପରି କରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୀତ ଗାନ କରିବା?BSBBSB: How can we sing a song of the LORD in a foreign land?
5. 5ULBହେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ, ଯଦି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପାସୋରେ, ତେବେ ମୋହର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ହସ୍ତ ଆପଣା ବଜାଇବା କୌଶଳ ପାସୋରି ଯାଉ।BSBBSB: If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand cease to function.
6. 6ULBଯଦି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ମରଣ ନ କରେ, ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମକୁ ଆପଣା ପରମାନନ୍ଦରୁ ଅଧିକ ଭଲ ନ ମଣେ, ତେବେ ମୋହର ଜିହ୍ୱା ମୋ’ ମୁଖର ତାଳୁରେ ଲାଗି ରହୁ।BSBBSB: May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not exalt Jerusalem as my greatest joy!
7. 7ULBହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଇଦୋମୀୟ ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ଦିନ ସ୍ମରଣ କର; ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, “ଉତ୍ପାଟନ କର, ତହିଁର ମୂଳ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଉତ୍ପାଟନ କର।”BSBBSB: Remember, O LORD, the sons of Edom on the day Jerusalem fell: “Destroy it,” they said, “tear it down to its foundations!”
8. 8ULBଆଗୋ ବିନାଶ୍ୟ ବାବିଲୀୟ କନ୍ୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଯେରୂପ କରିଅଛ, ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସେହିରୂପ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଯେ ଦେବ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।BSBBSB: O Daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction, blessed is he who repays you as you have done to us.
9. 9ULBଯେଉଁ ଜନ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଶିଶୁଗଣକୁ ଧରି ଶୈଳ ଉପରେ କଚାଡ଼ିବ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ।BSBBSB: Blessed is he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.
