8 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ବାଞ୍ଛା ପ୍ରଦାନ କର ନାହିଁ; ତାହାର କୁକଳ୍ପନା ସିଦ୍ଧ କର ନାହିଁ; କେଜାଣି ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗର୍ବିତ କରିବେ। ସେଲା BSB BSB: Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked; do not promote their evil plans, lest they be exalted. Selah

10 ULB ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଜ୍ୱଳନ୍ତା ଅଙ୍ଗାର ପଡ଼ୁ। ସେମାନେ ଅଗ୍ନିରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ସେମାନେ ଯେପରି ଆଉ ଉଠି ନ ପାରିବେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଗଭୀର ଗର୍ତ୍ତରେ ନିକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: May burning coals fall on them; may they be thrown into the fire, into the miry pits, never to rise again.
11 ULB ଦୁର୍ମୁଖ ଲୋକ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ସ୍ଥିର ହେବ ନାହିଁ; ଉପଦ୍ରବୀକୁ ନିପାତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ମୃଗୟା କରିବ। BSB BSB: May no slanderer be established in the land; may calamity hunt down the man of violence.
12 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଦୁଃଖୀର ବିବାଦ ଓ ଦୀନହୀନର ବିଚାର ନିଷ୍ପନ୍ନ କରିବେ, ଏହା ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ। BSB BSB: I know that the LORD upholds justice for the poor and defends the cause of the needy.
13 ULB ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ଅବଶ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନାମର ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ କରିବେ; ସରଳ ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଛାମୁରେ ବାସ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: Surely the righteous will praise Your name; the upright will dwell in Your presence.
