1 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋ’ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବିବାଦ କରନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ବିବାଦ କର। ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋ’ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରନ୍ତି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କର। BSB BSB: Of David. Contend with my opponents, O LORD; fight against those who fight against me.
2 ULB ଢାଲ ଓ ଫଳକ ଧାରଣ କର ଓ ମୋର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଠିଆ ହୁଅ। BSB BSB: Take up Your shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid.
3 ULB ମଧ୍ୟ ବର୍ଚ୍ଛା ଧରି ମୋ’ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇବା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପଥ ରୁଦ୍ଧ କର; ମୋ’ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ କୁହ, “ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ।” BSB BSB: Draw the spear and javelin against my pursuers; say to my soul: “I am your salvation.”
4 ULB ମୋ’ ପ୍ରାଣର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣକାରୀମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ଓ ଅପମାନିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ମୋହର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ଚିନ୍ତକମାନେ ବିମୁଖ ଓ ବିବ୍ରତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plan to harm me be driven back and confounded.
5 ULB ସେମାନେ ବାୟୁ ଆଗେ ତୁଷ ପରି ହେଉନ୍ତୁ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୂତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଘଉଡ଼ାଇ ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: May they be like chaff in the wind, as the angel of the LORD drives them away.
6 ULB ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଥ ଅନ୍ଧକାରମୟ ଓ ଖସଡ଼ା ହେଉ, ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦୂତ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ଗୋଡ଼ାଉନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: May their path be dark and slick, as the angel of the LORD pursues.
7 ULB ଯେହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋ’ ପାଇଁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଜାଲ ଲୁଚାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋ’ ପାଇଁ ଖାତ ଖୋଳି ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: For without cause they laid their net for me; without reason they dug a pit for my soul.
8 ULB ଅଜ୍ଞାତସାରରେ ତାହାକୁ ସର୍ବନାଶ ଘଟୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଗୁପ୍ତ ଜାଲ ତାହାକୁ ହିଁ ଧରୁ; ସର୍ବନାଶ ସହିତ ସେ ତହିଁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପଡ଼ୁ। BSB BSB: May ruin befall them by surprise; may the net they hid ensnare them; may they fall into the hazard they created.
9 ULB ଆଉ, ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ ହେବ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପରିତ୍ରାଣରେ ଉଲ୍ଲାସ କରିବ। BSB BSB: Then my soul will rejoice in the LORD and exult in His salvation.
10 ULB ମୋହର ଅସ୍ଥିସକଳ କହିବ, “ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ତୁଲ୍ୟ କିଏ ଅଛି? ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଃଖୀକୁ ତାହା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ବଳବାନ ଲୋକଠାରୁ, ମଧ୍ୟ ଦୁଃଖୀ ଓ ଦୀନହୀନକୁ ତାହାର ଲୁଟକାରୀଠାରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରିଥାଅ।” BSB BSB: All my bones will exclaim, “Who is like You, O LORD, who delivers the afflicted from the aggressor, the poor and needy from the robber?”
11 ULB ଅନ୍ୟାୟ ସାକ୍ଷୀମାନେ ଉଠୁଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ବିଷୟ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପଚାରୁ ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Hostile witnesses come forward; they make charges I know nothing about.
12 ULB ସେମାନେ ହିତର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ମୋହର ଅହିତ କରନ୍ତି, ତହିଁରେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣ ଅନାଥ ହୁଏ। BSB BSB: They repay me evil for good, to the bereavement of my soul.
13 ULB ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ପୀଡ଼ିତ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ଚଟ ମୋହର ପରିଧେୟ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ହେଲା; ମୁଁ ଉପବାସ କରି ଆପଣା ପ୍ରାଣକୁ କ୍ଳେଶ ଦେଲି ପୁଣି, ମୋହର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନାର ଉତ୍ତର ମୋତେ ମିଳିଲା ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Yet when they were ill, I put on sackcloth; I humbled myself with fasting, but my prayers returned unanswered.
14 ULB ସେମାନେ ମୋହର ବନ୍ଧୁ ଓ ଭ୍ରାତା ଥିଲା ପରି ମୁଁ ବ୍ୟବହାର କଲି; ମୁଁ ମାତୃଶୋକାତୁର ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଶୋକରେ ଅବନତ ହେଲି। BSB BSB: I paced about as for my friend or brother; I was bowed down with grief, like one mourning for his mother.
15 ULB ମାତ୍ର ମୋହର ପାଦ ଖସିଯିବା ବେଳେ ସେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରି ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହେଲେ; ଅଧମ ଲୋକମାନେ ମୋ’ ଅଜ୍ଞାତସାରରେ ମୋ’ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହେଲେ; ସେମାନେ ମୋତେ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ କଲେ ଓ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ନୋହିଲେ; BSB BSB: But when I stumbled, they assembled in glee; they gathered together against me. Assailants I did not know slandered me without ceasing.
16 ULB ଭୋଜରେ ପାଷାଣ୍ଡ ଉପହାସକମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ସେମାନେ ମୋ’ ଉପରେ ଦନ୍ତ ଘର୍ଷଣ କଲେ। BSB BSB: Like godless jesters at a feast, they gnashed their teeth at me.
17 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେତେ କାଳ ଅନାଇ ଥିବ? ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଧ୍ୱଂସନରୁ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାଣକୁ, ସିଂହମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ମୋହର ଏକମାତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାକୁ ରକ୍ଷା କର। BSB BSB: How long, O Lord, will You look on? Rescue my soul from their ravages, my precious life from these lions.
18 ULB ମୁଁ ମହାସମାଜ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଦେବି। ମୁଁ ମହାଜନତା ମଧ୍ୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କରିବି। BSB BSB: Then I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.
19 ULB ମୋ’ ଉପରେ ମୋ’ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅନ୍ୟାୟରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ। କିଅବା ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅକାରଣରେ ମୋତେ ଘୃଣା କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିହାସ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Let not my enemies gloat over me without cause, nor those who hate me without reason wink in malice.
20 ULB ସେମାନେ ଶାନ୍ତିର କଥା କହନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ଦେଶସ୍ଥ ଶାନ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଛଳକଥା କଳ୍ପନା କରନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: For they do not speak peace, but they devise deceitful schemes against those who live quietly in the land.
21 ULB ହଁ, ସେମାନେ ମୋ’ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ କଥା କହିଲେ; ସେମାନେ କହିଲେ, “ହଁ, ହଁ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ତାହା ଦେଖିଅଛି।” BSB BSB: They gape at me and say, “Aha, aha! Our eyes have seen!”
22 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଦେଖିଅଛ; ନୀରବ ରୁହ ନାହିଁ; ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୋ’ଠାରୁ ଦୂରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: O LORD, You have seen it; be not silent. O Lord, be not far from me.
23 ULB ହେ ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ହେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଜାଗି ଉଠ, ମୋହର ବିଚାର ଓ ବିବାଦ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଜାଗ୍ରତ ହୁଅ। BSB BSB: Awake and rise to my defense, to my cause, my God and my Lord!
24 ULB ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୋହର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମ ପ୍ରମାଣେ ମୋହର ବିଚାର କର ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ମୋ’ ଉପରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରିବାକୁ ଦିଅ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Vindicate me by Your righteousness, O LORD my God, and do not let them gloat over me.
25 ULB “ହଁ, ସେପରି ହେଉ ବୋଲି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଇଚ୍ଛା,” ଏହା ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମନରେ ନ କହନ୍ତୁ; “ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛୁ” ବୋଲି ସେମାନେ ନ କହନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: Let them not say in their hearts, “Aha, just what we wanted!” Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up!”
26 ULB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋ’ ବିପଦରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଏକତ୍ର ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ଓ ବିବ୍ରତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋ’ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଦର୍ପ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ଲଜ୍ଜା ଓ ଅପମାନ ପରିଧାନ କରନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: May those who gloat in my distress be ashamed and confounded; may those who exalt themselves over me be clothed in shame and reproach.
27 ULB ଯେଉଁମାନେ ମୋ’ ଧର୍ମରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ, ସେମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦଧ୍ୱନି କରି ଆହ୍ଲାଦିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ଆପଣା ଦାସର ସମୃଦ୍ଧିରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମହିମାନ୍ୱିତ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ ବୋଲି ସେମାନେ ନିରନ୍ତର କହନ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: May those who favor my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “Exalted be the LORD who delights in His servant’s well-being.”
28 ULB ପୁଣି, ମୋହର ଜିହ୍ୱା ଦିନସାରା ତୁମ୍ଭ ଧର୍ମଗୁଣ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରଶଂସାର କଥା କହିବ। BSB BSB: Then my tongue will proclaim Your righteousness and Your praises all day long.
