1 ULB ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସକାଶୁ ଆପଣାକୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କର ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଅଧର୍ମାଚାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଈର୍ଷାଭାବ ବହ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Of David. Do not fret over those who do evil; do not envy those who do wrong.
2 ULB କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଘାସ ପରି ଶୀଘ୍ର କଟା ଯିବେ ଓ କୋମଳ ତୃଣ ପରି ଶୁଷ୍କ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: For they wither quickly like grass and wilt like tender plants.
3 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖି ସୁକର୍ମ କର; ଦେଶରେ ବାସ କରି ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତତାର ଅନୁଗାମୀ ହୁଅ। BSB BSB: Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.
4 ULB ମଧ୍ୟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କର; ତହିଁରେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ମନୋବାଞ୍ଛା ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
5 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଗତି ସମର୍ପଣ କର; ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ନିର୍ଭର ରଖ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ତାହା ସଫଳ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it.
6 ULB ଆଉ, ସେ ଦିପ୍ତୀ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଧର୍ମ ଓ ମଧ୍ୟାହ୍ନ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିଚାର ପ୍ରକାଶ କରାଇବେ। BSB BSB: He will bring forth your righteousness like the dawn, your justice like the noonday sun.
7 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରେ ସୁସ୍ଥିର ହୁଅ ଓ ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଧରି ତାହାଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷାରେ ରୁହ; ଯେ ନିଜ ମାର୍ଗରେ କୃତକାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ହୁଏ, ଯେଉଁ ଜନ କୁସଂକଳ୍ପ ସାଧନ କରେ, ତାହା ସକାଶୁ ଆପଣାକୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କର ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men prosper in their ways, when they carry out wicked schemes.
8 ULB କ୍ରୋଧରୁ କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ହୁଅ ଓ କୋପ ତ୍ୟାଗ କର; ଆପଣାକୁ ବିରକ୍ତ କର ନାହିଁ, ତାହା କେବଳ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମ କରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରବର୍ତ୍ତାଏ। BSB BSB: Refrain from anger and abandon wrath; do not fret—it can only bring harm.
9 ULB କାରଣ ଦୁଷ୍କର୍ମକାରୀମାନେ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେବେ; ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷାକାରୀମାନେ ଦେଶାଧିକାରୀ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: For the evildoers will be cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.
10 ULB ଆଉ, ଅଳ୍ପକ୍ଷଣ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟଲୋକ ନ ଥିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯତ୍ନପୂର୍ବକ ତାହାର ସ୍ଥାନ ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ କରିବ, ଆଉ ସେ ନ ଥିବ। BSB BSB: Yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 ULB ମାତ୍ର ନମ୍ର ଲୋକମାନେ ଦେଶ ଅଧିକାର କରିବେ ଓ ଶାନ୍ତିର ବାହୁଲ୍ୟରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣାକୁ ଆନନ୍ଦିତ କରିବେ। BSB BSB: But the meek will inherit the land and delight in abundant prosperity.
12 ULB ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଧାର୍ମିକର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ କୁକଳ୍ପନା କରେ ଓ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଦନ୍ତ କଡ଼ମଡ଼ କରେ। BSB BSB: The wicked scheme against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them,
13 ULB ପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାକୁ ଉପହାସ କରିବେ। କାରଣ ତାହାର ଅନ୍ତିମ ଦିନ ଯେ ଆସୁଅଛି, ଏହା ସେ ଦେଖନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: but the Lord laughs, seeing that their day is coming.
14 ULB ଦୁଃଖୀ ଓ ଦୀନହୀନକୁ ନିପାତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ସରଳ- ପଥଗାମୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଖଡ୍ଗ ନିଷ୍କୋଷ କରି ଧନୁ ନୁଆଁଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The wicked have drawn the sword and bent the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright.
15 ULB ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଖଡ୍ଗ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିଜ ହୃଦୟରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଧନୁ ଭଙ୍ଗାଯିବ। BSB BSB: But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.
16 ULB ଅନେକ ଦୁଷ୍ଟଲୋକର ପ୍ରଚୁର ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକର ଅଳ୍ପ ସମ୍ପତ୍ତି ଭଲ। BSB BSB: Better is the little of the righteous than the abundance of many who are wicked.
17 ULB କାରଣ ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ବାହୁ ଭଙ୍ଗାଯିବ, ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଧାର୍ମିକକୁ ଧରି ରଖିବେ। BSB BSB: For the arms of the wicked will be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous.
18 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସିଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଦିନସବୁ ଜାଣନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଅଧିକାର ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ହେବ। BSB BSB: The LORD knows the days of the blameless, and their inheritance will last forever.
19 ULB ସେମାନେ ବିପଦ ସମୟରେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବେ ନାହିଁ; ପୁଣି, ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ସମୟରେ ସେମାନେ ପରିତୃପ୍ତ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: In the time of evil they will not be ashamed, and in the days of famine they will be satisfied.
20 ULB ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବେ, ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ଚରାସ୍ଥାନରେ ଶୋଭା ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବେ; ସେମାନେ ନିଃଶେଷିତ ହେବେ; ସେମାନେ ଧୂମରେ ନିଃଶେଷିତ ହୋଇଯିବେ। BSB BSB: But the wicked and enemies of the LORD will perish like the glory of the fields. They will vanish; like smoke they will fade away.
21 ULB ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ଋଣ କରି ପରିଶୋଧ କରେ ନାହିଁ। ମାତ୍ର ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକ ଦୟା ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ଦାନ କରେ। BSB BSB: The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous are gracious and giving.
22 ULB କାରଣ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଲୋକେ ଦେଶାଧିକାର କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ତାହାଙ୍କର ଅଭିଶପ୍ତ ଲୋକେ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେବେ BSB BSB: Surely those He blesses will inherit the land, but the cursed will be destroyed.
23 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ଗତି ସ୍ଥିରୀକୃତ ହୁଏ ଓ ସେ ତାହାର ପଥରେ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ ହୁଅନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey.
24 ULB ସେ ପତିତ ହେଲେ ହେଁ ଭୂମିଶାୟୀ ହେବ ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସ୍ୱହସ୍ତରେ ତାହାକୁ ଧରି ରଖନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, for the LORD is holding his hand.
25 ULB ମୁଁ ଯୁବା ଥିଲି, ଏବେ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇଅଛି; ତଥାପି ମୁଁ ଧାର୍ମିକକୁ ପରିତ୍ୟକ୍ତ, ଅବା ତାହାର ବଂଶକୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଭିକ୍ଷା କରିବାର ଦେଖି ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: I once was young and now am old, yet never have I seen the righteous abandoned or their children begging for bread.
26 ULB ସେ ସାରାଦିନ ଦୟା ବ୍ୟବହାର କରି ଉଧାର ଦିଏ; ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ ପାଆନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: They are ever generous and quick to lend, and their children are a blessing.
27 ULB ମନ୍ଦଠାରୁ ଦୂର ହୁଅ ଓ ସୁକର୍ମ କର; ତେବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ବାସ କରିବ। BSB BSB: Turn away from evil and do good, so that you will abide forever.
28 ULB କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନ୍ୟାୟ ବିଚାର ଭଲ ପାଆନ୍ତି ଓ ଆପଣା ସଦ୍ଭକ୍ତମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ; ସେମାନେ ଅନନ୍ତକାଳ ରକ୍ଷିତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି; ମାତ୍ର ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ବଂଶ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେବେ। BSB BSB: For the LORD loves justice and will not forsake His saints. They are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off.
29 ULB ଧାର୍ମିକ ଦେଶାଧିକାର କରିବ ଓ ସଦାକାଳ ତହିଁରେ ବାସ କରିବ। BSB BSB: The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.
30 ULB ଧାର୍ମିକର ମୁଖ ଜ୍ଞାନର କଥା କହେ ଓ ତାହାର ଜିହ୍ୱା ନ୍ୟାୟ ବିଚାରର କଥା କହେ। BSB BSB: The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice.
31 ULB ତାହାର ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ତାହାର ଅନ୍ତରରେ ଅଛି; ତାହାର କୌଣସି ପାଦଗତି ଖସିଯିବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not falter.
32 ULB ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ଧାର୍ମିକକୁ ଜଗି ବସେ ଓ ତାହାକୁ ବଧ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରେ। BSB BSB: Though the wicked lie in wait for the righteous, and seek to slay them,
33 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାର ହସ୍ତରେ ତାହାକୁ ଛାଡ଼ି ଦେବେ ନାହିଁ; କିଅବା ସେ ବିଚାରିତ ହେବା ବେଳେ ତାହାକୁ ଦୋଷୀ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: the LORD will not leave them in their power or let them be condemned under judgment.
34 ULB ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ଅନୁସରଣ କର ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପଥ ରକ୍ଷା କର, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦେଶାଧିକାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ଉନ୍ନତ କରିବେ; ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନେ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେବା ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ଦେଖିବ। BSB BSB: Wait for the LORD and keep His way, and He will raise you up to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you will see it.
35 ULB ମୁଁ ଦୁଷ୍ଟକୁ ମହାକ୍ଷମତାପନ୍ନ ଓ ସ୍ୱଭୂମିରେ ସତେଜ ବୃକ୍ଷ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଆପଣାକୁ ପ୍ରସାରିବାର ଦେଖିଅଛି। BSB BSB: I have seen a wicked, ruthless man flourishing like a well-rooted native tree,
36 ULB ମାତ୍ର ଜଣେ ନିକଟ ଦେଇ ଗଲା, ଆଉ ଦେଖ, ସେ ନ ଥିଲା; ଆହୁରି, ମୁଁ ତାହାର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କଲି, ମାତ୍ର ତାହାର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ମିଳିଲା ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: yet he passed away and was no more; though I searched, he could not be found.
37 ULB ସିଦ୍ଧ ଲୋକକୁ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କର ଓ ସରଳ ଲୋକକୁ ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ କର; କାରଣ ଶାନ୍ତିପ୍ରିୟ ଲୋକର ଶେଷ ଫଳ ଅଛି। BSB BSB: Consider the blameless and observe the upright, for posterity awaits the man of peace.
38 ULB ମାତ୍ର ଅଧର୍ମାଚାରୀମାନେ ଏକାବେଳେ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବେ; ଦୁଷ୍ଟର ଶେଷ ଫଳ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ ହେବ। BSB BSB: But the transgressors will all be destroyed; the future of the wicked will be cut off.
39 ULB ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଲୋକର ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ହୁଏ; ସେ ସଙ୍କଟ ସମୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଦୃଢ଼ ଦୁର୍ଗ ଅଟନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their stronghold in time of trouble.
40 ULB ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସାହାଯ୍ୟ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତି; ସେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରି ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କରନ୍ତି, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କର ଶରଣାଗତ। BSB BSB: The LORD helps and delivers them; He rescues and saves them from the wicked, because they take refuge in Him.
