1 ULB ହେ ଭାଇମାନେ, ସେମାନେ ଯେପରି ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପାଆନ୍ତି, ଏହା ମୋହର ହୃଦୟର ବାଞ୍ଛା ଏବଂ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଛାମୁରେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା। BSB BSB: Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is for their salvation.
2 ULB କାରଣ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଯେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଉଦ୍ଯୋଗ ଅଛି, ଏହା ମୁଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସପକ୍ଷରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦେଉଅଛି, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେହି ଉଦ୍ଯୋଗ ଜ୍ଞାନଯୁକ୍ତ ନୁହେଁ। BSB BSB: For I testify about them that they are zealous for God, but not on the basis of knowledge.
3 ULB ଯେଣୁ ଈଶ୍ୱରଦତ୍ତ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ବିଷୟରେ ଅଜ୍ଞ ହୋଇ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଧାର୍ମିକତା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରି ସେମାନେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଦତ୍ତ ଧାର୍ମିକତାର ବଶୀଭୂତ ହୋଇ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: Because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
4 ULB କାରଣ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବିଶ୍ୱାସୀ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଗଣିତ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାର ଶେଷ ଅଟନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: For Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.
5 ULB କାରଣ ମୋଶା ଲେଖନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାମୂଳକ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ସାଧନ କରେ, ସେ ତଦ୍ୱାରା ବଞ୍ଚିବ। BSB BSB: For concerning the righteousness that is by the law, Moses writes: “The man who does these things will live by them.”
6 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସମୂଳକ ଧାର୍ମିକତା ଏପରି କହେ, "ମନେ ମନେ କୁହ ନାହିଁ, "କିଏ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗାରୋହଣ କରିବ' (ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ)? BSB BSB: But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)
7 ULB ଅବା "କିଏ ପାତାଳକୁ ଅବତରଣ କରିବ' (ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କୁ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଠାଇଆଣିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ)? BSB BSB: or, ‘Who will descend into the Abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).”
8 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ତାହା କ'ଣ କହେ? "ବାକ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ମୁଖରେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ହୃଦୟରେ ଅଛି', ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ଯେଉଁ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ବାକ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରଚାର କରୁ, ସେହି ବାକ୍ୟ।" BSB BSB: But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
9 ULB ଯେଣୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ମୁଖରେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ବୋଲି ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରିବ, ଆଉ ଈଶ୍ୱର ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ମୃତମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଠାଇଅଛନ୍ତି ବୋଲି ହୃଦୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବ, ତେବେ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେବ; BSB BSB: that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 ULB କାରଣ ଧାର୍ମିକତାପ୍ରାପ୍ତି ନିମନ୍ତେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ହୃଦୟରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରେ ଓ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତି ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୁଖରେ ସ୍ୱୀକାର କରେ। BSB BSB: For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.
11 ULB ଯେଣୁ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ର କହେ, ଯେ କେହି ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରେ, ସେ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବ ନାହିଁ। BSB BSB: It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”
12 ULB କାରଣ ଯିହୂଦୀ ଓ ଗ୍ରୀକ୍ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କିଛି ପ୍ରଭେଦ ନାହିଁ; ଯେଣୁ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କର ତ ଏକ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ଆଉ ଯେତେ ଲୋକ ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତି, ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହର ନିଧିସ୍ୱରୂପ। BSB BSB: For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him,
14 ULB ତେବେ ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି, ତାହାଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ କିପରି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବେ? ପୁଣି, ଯାହାଙ୍କ କଥା ସେମାନେ ଶୁଣି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି, କିପରି ତାହାଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିବେ? ଆଉ ପ୍ରଚାରକ ବିନା ସେମାନେ କିପରି ଶୁଣିବେ? BSB BSB: How then can they call on the One in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?
15 ULB ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରେରିତ ନ ହେଲେ କିପରି ପ୍ରଚାର କରିବେ? ଯେପରି ଲେଖା ଅଛି, "ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଶୁଭ ବିଷୟର ସୁସମାଚାର ଆଣନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ପାଦ କିପରି ଶୋଭାଯୁକ୍ତ। BSB BSB: And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
16 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ସମସ୍ତେ ସୁସମାଚାରର ବଶୀଭୂତ ହେଲେ ନାହିଁ। କାରଣ ଯିଶାଇୟ କହନ୍ତି, "ହେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, କିଏ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସମ୍ବାଦ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରିଅଛି?' BSB BSB: But not all of them welcomed the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
17 ULB ଅତଏବ, ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଶ୍ରବଣରୁ ଜାତ ହୁଏ ଓ ଶ୍ରବଣ ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ଦ୍ୱାରା ହୁଏ। BSB BSB: Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
18 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କହେ, ସେମାନେ କି ଶୁଣି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି? ହଁ, ନିଶ୍ଚୟ; ସମୁଦାୟ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସ୍ୱର, ଆଉ ଜଗତର ସୀମା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବାକ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟାପିଗଲା। BSB BSB: But I ask, did they not hear? Indeed they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
19 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ମୁଁ କହେ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ କ'ଣ ଜାଣି ନାହାଁନ୍ତି? ପ୍ରଥମରେ ମୋଶା କହନ୍ତି, "ଆମ୍ଭେ ନଗଣ୍ୟ ଜାତି ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଈର୍ଷା ଜନ୍ମାଇବା, ଗୋଟିଏ ନିର୍ବୋଧ ଜାତି ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ କ୍ରୋଧାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା। BSB BSB: I ask instead, did Israel not understand? First, Moses says: “I will make you jealous by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation without understanding.”
20 ULB ତାହା ପରେ ଯିଶାଇୟ ସାହସରେ କହନ୍ତି, "ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭର ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣ କରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହେଲେ; ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟ ପଚାରୁ ନ ଥିଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲୁ।' BSB BSB: And Isaiah boldly says: “I was found by those who did not seek Me; I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me.”
21 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ସେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ବିଷୟରେ କହନ୍ତି, "ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅନାଜ୍ଞାବହ ଓ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳବାଦୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଦିନଯାକ ହସ୍ତ ବିସ୍ତାର କରିଅଛୁ।' BSB BSB: But as for Israel he says: “All day long I have held out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”
