1 ULB କର୍ତ୍ତୃପକ୍ଷ ଓ କ୍ଷମତା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିମାନଙ୍କର ବଶୀଭୂତ ଓ ବାଧ୍ୟ ହେବାକୁ ପୁଣି, ସମସ୍ତ ପ୍ରକାର ସତ୍କର୍ମ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହେବାକୁ, BSB BSB: Remind the believers to submit to rulers and authorities, to be obedient and ready for every good work,
2 ULB କାହାରି ନିନ୍ଦା ନ କରିବାକୁ, କାହାରି ବିରୋଧୀ ନ ହେବାକୁ, ମୃଦୁଶୀଳ ହେବାକୁ ପୁଣି, ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସର୍ବପ୍ରକାରେ କୋମଳ ଭାବ ଦେଖଇବାକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରାଅ। BSB BSB: to malign no one, and to be peaceable and gentle, showing full consideration to everyone.
3 ULB କାରଣ ପୂର୍ବେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ନିର୍ବୋଧ, ଅବାଧ୍ୟ, ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ପୁଣି, ନାନା ପ୍ରକାର କୁଅଭିଳାଷ ଓ ସୁଖଭୋଗର ଦାସ ଥିଲୁ, ହିଂସା ଓ ଈର୍ଷାରେ କାଳକ୍ଷେପଣ କରୁଥିଲୁ, ଆଉ ଘୃଣାର ପାତ୍ର ହୋଇ ପରସ୍ପରକୁ ଘୃଣା କରୁଥିଲୁ। BSB BSB: For at one time we too were foolish, disobedient, misled, and enslaved to all sorts of desires and pleasures—living in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.
4 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ଯେତେବେଳେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ତ୍ରାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଦୟା ଓ ମାନବଜାତି ପ୍ରତି ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେମ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହେଲା, BSB BSB: But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared,
5 ULB ସେତେବେଳେ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କୃତ ଧର୍ମକର୍ମ ସକାଶେ ନୁହେଁ, ମାତ୍ର ଆପଣାର ଦୟାନୁସାରେ ନୂତନ ଜନ୍ମର ପ୍ରକ୍ଷାଳନ ଓ ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କ ନୂତନୀକରଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରିତ୍ରାଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; BSB BSB: He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6 ULB ସେହି ପବିତ୍ର ଆତ୍ମାଙ୍କୁ ସେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ତ୍ରାଣକର୍ତ୍ତା ଯୀଶୁଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରଚୁର ରୂପେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଦେଲେ, BSB BSB: This is the Spirit He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 ULB ଯେପରି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ତାହାଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହରେ ଧାର୍ମିକ ଗଣିତ ହୋଇ ଭରସାନୁସାରେ ଅନନ୍ତ ଜୀବନର ଅଧିକାରୀ ହେବୁ। BSB BSB: so that, having been justified by His grace, we would become heirs with the hope of eternal life.
8 ULB ଏହି କଥା ବିଶ୍ଵାସ୍ୟ, ଆଉ ଯେପରି ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କଠାରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସକାରୀମାନେ ସମସ୍ତ ସତ୍କର୍ମରେ ପ୍ରବୃତ୍ତ ରହିବାକୁ ମନୋଯୋଗୀ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଦୃଢ ରୂପେ ଶିକ୍ଷା ଦିଅ ବୋଲି ମୋହର ଇଚ୍ଛା। ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଉତ୍ତମ ଓ ହିତଜନକ। BSB BSB: This saying is trustworthy. And I want you to emphasize these things, so that those who have believed God will take care to devote themselves to good deeds. These things are excellent and profitable for the people.
9 ULB କିନ୍ତୁ ବିତଣ୍ଡା ବାଦାନୁବାଦ, ବିରୋଧ ଓ ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ବିଷୟକ ବାଗଯୁଦ୍ଧରୁ ଅନ୍ତର ହୁଅ, କାରଣ ଏହି ସବୁ କ୍ଷତିଜନକ ଓ ଅସାର। BSB BSB: But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, arguments, and quarrels about the law, because these things are pointless and worthless.
10 ULB ଯେଉଁ ଲୋକମାନେ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ମତାବଲମ୍ବୀ, ତାହାକୁ ଥରେ, ଦୁଇ ଥର ଅନୁଯୋଗ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ତାହାଠାରୁ ପୃଥକ୍ ରୁହ; BSB BSB: Reject a divisive man after a first and second admonition,
11 ULB ଏହିପରି ଲୋକ ଯେ ପଥଭ୍ରଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ପାପ କରି ଆପଣାକୁ ଆପେ ଦୋଷୀ କରେ, ଏହା ତ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଜାଣ। BSB BSB: knowing that such a man is corrupt and sinful; he is self-condemned.
12 ULB ଯେତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିକଟକୁ ଆର୍ତ୍ତେମା କିମ୍ବା ତୁଖିକକୁ ପଠାଇବି, ସେତେବେଳେ ନୀକପଲିରେ ମୋ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିବା ପାଇଁ ଉଦ୍ୟମ କର, କାରଣ ସେଠାରେ ଶୀତକାଳ କ୍ଷେପଣ କରିବାକୁ ମୁଁ ସ୍ଥିର କରିଅଛି। BSB BSB: As soon as I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, make every effort to come to me at Nicopolis, because I have decided to winter there.
13 ULB ମୋଶାଙ୍କ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାଶାସ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞ ଜୀନା ଓ ଆପଲ୍ଲଙ୍କୁ ଯତ୍ନ ପୂର୍ବକ ବାଟ ବଳାଇଦିଅ, ଯେପରି ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୌଣସି ଅଭାବ ନ ହୁଏ। BSB BSB: Do your best to equip Zenas the lawyer and Apollos, so that they will have everything they need.
14 ULB ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରୟୋଜନୀୟ ଉପକାର ନିମନ୍ତେ ସତ୍କର୍ମରେ ପ୍ରବୃତ୍ତ ରହିବାକୁ ଶିଖନ୍ତୁ, ଯେପରି ସେମାନେ ଫଳହୀନ ନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି। BSB BSB: And our people must also learn to devote themselves to good works in order to meet the pressing needs of others, so that they will not be unfruitful.
15 ULB ମୋ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଥିବା ସମସ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ନମସ୍କାର ଜଣାଉଅଛନ୍ତି। ବିଶ୍ଵାସ ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧରେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରେମ କରନ୍ତି, ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ନମସ୍କାର ଜଣାଅ। ତୁମ୍ଭ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ବର୍ତ୍ତୁ। BSB BSB: All who are with me send you greetings. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with all of you.
