For He chose Judah as leader, and from the house of Judah He chose my father’s household, and from my father’s sons He was pleased to make me king over all Israel.

8 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸੁਣਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਆਗਿਆਂਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖੋ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਚੰਗੇ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਓ। BSB BSB: So now in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the LORD, and in the hearing of our God, keep and seek out all the commandments of the LORD your God, so that you may possess this good land and leave it as an inheritance to your descendants forever.

If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.
10 ULB ਹੁਣ ਵੇਖ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਭਵਨ ਬਣਾਵੇਂ। ਉਠ, ਤਕੜਾ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਣਾ!। BSB BSB: Consider now that the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong and do it.”
11 ULB ਤਾਂ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਲਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਦਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ, ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਪਰਲੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਦਾ, ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰਲੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਸਚਿੱਤ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਕਸ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ BSB BSB: Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the portico of the temple, its buildings, storehouses, upper rooms, inner rooms, and the room for the mercy seat.
12 ULB ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਕਸ਼ਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਹੜਿਆਂ ਦਾ, ਇਰਦੇ ਗਿਰਦੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਦਾ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ, ਚੜਾਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ BSB BSB: The plans contained everything David had in mind for the courts of the house of the LORD, for all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the house of God and of the dedicated things,
13 ULB ਅਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਦੇ ਲਈ, ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆ ਦੇ ਲਈ BSB BSB: for the divisions of the priests and Levites, for all the work of service in the house of the LORD, and for all the articles of service in the house of the LORD:
14 ULB ਅਤੇ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੋਨਾ ਤੋਲ ਕੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਹਰੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਤੋਲ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਸਭ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆ ਦੇ ਲਈ BSB BSB: the weight of all the gold articles for every kind of service; the weight of all the silver articles for every kind of service;

18 ULB ਅਤੇ ਧੂਪ ਦੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੁੰਦਨ ਸੋਨਾ ਤੋਲ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੂਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਰਥ ਦੇ ਨਮੂਨੇ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਖੰਭ ਪਸਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਪੜਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: the weight of the refined gold for the altar of incense; and the plans for the chariot of the gold cherubim that spread their wings and overshadowed the ark of the covenant of the LORD.
19 ULB ਦਾਊਦ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਇਹ ਸੱਭੇ ਲਿਖਤ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਨਕਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਏ BSB BSB: “All this,” said David, “all the details of this plan, the LORD has made clear to me in writing by His hand upon me.”
20 ULB ਅਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਲੇਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤਕੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਰਮਾ ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ, ਨਾ ਡਰੀਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਘਬਰਾਵੀਂ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਭੁੱਲੇਗਾ ਨਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗੇਗਾ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੰਮ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ! BSB BSB: David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you before all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.
21 ULB ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖ, ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੋਲੀਆਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਲਈ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹਰ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਤਰ ਹਨ, ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਤੇਰੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: The divisions of the priests and Levites are ready for all the service of the house of God, and every willing man of every skill will be at your disposal for the work. The officials and all the people are fully at your command.”
