13 ULB ਸਗੋਂ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਕੁ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਹੋ ਓਨਾ ਕੁ ਆਨੰਦ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਆਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਹੋਵੋ BSB BSB: But rejoice that you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed at the revelation of His glory.

15 ULB ਪਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਖੂਨੀ ਜਾਂ ਚੋਰ ਜਾਂ ਬੁਰਾ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਤ ਫਸਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਪਾਵੇ BSB BSB: Indeed, none of you should suffer as a murderer or thief or wrongdoer, or even as a meddler.
16 ULB ਪਰ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮਸੀਹੀ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਪਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰੋ BSB BSB: But if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear that name.
17 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਘਰੋਂ ਨਿਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ BSB BSB: For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who disobey the gospel of God?
18 ULB ਜੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਮਰ ਮਰ ਕੇ ਬਚਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਭਗਤੀਹੀਣ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪੀ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਠਿਕਾਣਾ? BSB BSB: And, “If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”
19 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੋਗਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸਯੋਗ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੌਪ ਦੇਣ l BSB BSB: So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should entrust their souls to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.
