They went up and camped at Michmash, east of Beth-aven.

11 ULB ਸਮੂਏਲ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ? ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਬੋਲਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਇੱਧਰ-ਉੱਧਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਮਿਕਮਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕਠੇ ਹੋਏ। BSB BSB: “What have you done?” Samuel asked. And Saul replied, “When I saw that the troops were deserting me, and that you did not come at the appointed time and the Philistines were gathering at Michmash,
12 ULB ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਜੋ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਗਿਲਗਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੀ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ। BSB BSB: I thought, ‘Now the Philistines will descend upon me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the favor of the LORD.’ So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering.”
13 ULB ਸਮੂਏਲ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, ਤੂੰ ਮੂਰਖਤਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨੀ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੁਣ ਤੋਂ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਕਾਲ ਤੱਕ ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਜ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਠਹਿਰਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ। BSB BSB: “You have acted foolishly,” Samuel declared. “You have not kept the command that the LORD your God gave you; if you had, the LORD would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time.
14 ULB ਹੁਣ ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਇਮ ਨਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਧਾਨ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਆਗਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: But now your kingdom will not endure; the LORD has sought a man after His own heart and appointed him ruler over His people, because you have not kept the command of the LORD.”
15 ULB ਸਮੂਏਲ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਲਗਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਗਿਬਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆ। ਤਦ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਣਿਆ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲਗਭਗ ਛੇ ਸੌ ਸਨ। BSB BSB: Then Samuel set out from Gilgal and went up to Gibeah in Benjamin. And Saul numbered the troops who were with him, about six hundred men.

17 ULB ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਲ ਤੋਂ ਲੁਟੇਰੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਟੋਲੀਆਂ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ। ਇੱਕ ਟੋਲੀ ਸ਼ੂਆਲ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਓਫਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵੱਲ ਗਈ। BSB BSB: And raiders went out of the Philistine camp in three divisions. One headed toward Ophrah in the land of Shual,
18 ULB ਦੂਜੀ ਟੋਲੀ ਬੈਤ-ਹੋਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜੀ ਟੋਲੀ ਉਸ ਬੰਨੇ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਤੁਰੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਬੋਈਮ ਦੀ ਖੱਡ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਦੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: another toward Beth-horon, and the third down the border road overlooking the Valley of Zeboim facing the wilderness.
