1 ULB ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, "ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਫੱਟੀਆਂ ਘੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਬਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੱਕੜੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਵੀ ਬਣਵਾ। BSB BSB: At that time the LORD said to me, “Chisel out two stone tablets like the originals, come up to Me on the mountain, and make an ark of wood.
2 ULB ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫੱਟੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਲਿਖਾਂਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਫੱਟੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਤੋੜ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ। ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਲਵੀਂ। BSB BSB: And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke; and you are to place them in the ark.”
3 ULB ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਬਬੂਲ ਦੀ ਲੱਕੜੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੋ ਫੱਟੀਆਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਘੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਫੱਟੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ। BSB BSB: So I made an ark of acacia wood, chiseled out two stone tablets like the originals, and went up the mountain with the two tablets in my hands.
4 ULB ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫੱਟੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਹ ਦਸ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਅੱਗ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ।" ਫੇਰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਫੱਟੀਆਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। BSB BSB: And the LORD wrote on the tablets what had been written previously, the Ten Commandments that He had spoken to you on the mountain out of the fire on the day of the assembly. The LORD gave them to me,
5 ULB ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਪਹਾੜ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਤਰਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਫੱਟੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: and I went back down the mountain and placed the tablets in the ark I had made, as the LORD had commanded me; and there they have remained.
6 ULB ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਆਕਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਏਰੋਥ ਤੋਂ ਮੋਸੇਰਾਹ ਤੱਕ ਕੂਚ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉੱਥੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਦੱਬਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਤਦ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲਆਜ਼ਾਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਈ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ। BSB BSB: The Israelites traveled from Beeroth Bene-jaakan to Moserah, where Aaron died and was buried, and Eleazar his son succeeded him as priest.
7 ULB ਉੱਥੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਦਗੋਦਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਕੂਚ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫੇਰ ਗੁਦਗੋਦਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਯਾਟਬਾਤਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: From there they traveled to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land with streams of water.
8 ULB ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਗੋਤ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੂਕ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਸੀਸ ਦਿਆ ਕਰਨ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਆਏ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: At that time the LORD set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to serve Him, and to pronounce blessings in His name, as they do to this day.
9 ULB ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਲੇਵੀ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੋਈ ਭਾਗ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: That is why Levi has no portion or inheritance among his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, as the LORD your God promised him.
10 ULB ਮੈਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਫੇਰ ਚਾਲੀ ਦਿਨ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਲੀ ਰਾਤਾਂ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਸੁਣ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਨਾ ਚਾਹਿਆ। BSB BSB: I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights, like the first time, and that time the LORD again listened to me and agreed not to destroy you.
11 ULB ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, "ਉੱਠ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ-ਅੱਗੇ ਕੂਚ ਕਰ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲੈਣ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ।" BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to me, “Get up. Continue your journey ahead of the people, that they may enter and possess the land that I swore to their fathers to give them.”
12 ULB ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਰ ਕੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਭੈ ਮੰਨੋ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲੋ, ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰੋ। BSB BSB: And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God by walking in all His ways, to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13 ULB ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਲਈ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। BSB BSB: and to keep the commandments and statutes of the LORD that I am giving you this day for your own good?
14 ULB ਵੇਖੋ, ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਸਗੋਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Behold, to the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, and the earth and everything in it.
15 ULB ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਣ ਲਿਆ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Yet the LORD has set His affection on your fathers and loved them. And He has chosen you, their descendants after them, above all the peoples, even to this day.
17 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਮਹਾਨ, ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਭੈ ਦਾਇਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਪੱਖਪਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਸ਼ਵਤ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awesome God, showing no partiality and accepting no bribe.
19 ULB ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਖੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਦੇਸੀ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: So you also must love the foreigner, since you yourselves were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
20 ULB ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਭੈ ਮੰਨੋ, ਉਸੇ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗੇ ਰਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਓ। BSB BSB: You are to fear the LORD your God and serve Him. Hold fast to Him and take your oaths in His name.
21 ULB ਉਹ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖੇ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: He is your praise and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome wonders that your eyes have seen.
22 ULB ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦੇ ਜਦ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਸੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਹੀ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਵਧਾਇਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Your fathers went down to Egypt, seventy in all, and now the LORD your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky.
