1 ULB ਤਦ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਬਰਕਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਾਪ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਉਣਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤਹਾਨੂੰ ਧੱਕ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਾਦ ਕਰੋਗੇ BSB BSB: “When all these things come upon you—the blessings and curses I have set before you—and you call them to mind in all the nations to which the LORD your God has banished you,

4 ULB ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੱਕਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਕੋਈ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਿਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਲੈ ਆਵੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: Even if you have been banished to the farthest horizon, He will gather you and return you from there.
5 ULB ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰੋਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਵਧਾਵੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: And the LORD your God will bring you into the land your fathers possessed, and you will take possession of it. He will cause you to prosper and multiply more than your fathers.

10 ULB ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਮੁੜੋ। BSB BSB: if you obey the LORD your God by keeping His commandments and statutes that are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
11 ULB ਵੇਖੋ, ਇਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਔਖਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੂਰ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: For this commandment I give you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.
12 ULB ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖੋ, "ਭਲਾ, ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਕੌਣ ਚੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੀਏ?" BSB BSB: It is not in heaven, that you should need to ask, ‘Who will ascend into heaven to get it for us and proclaim it, that we may obey it?’
13 ULB ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਪਾਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖੋ, "ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਕੌਣ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੀਏ?" BSB BSB: And it is not beyond the sea, that you should need to ask, ‘Who will cross the sea to get it for us and proclaim it, that we may obey it?’
14 ULB ਪਰ ਇਹ ਬਾਣੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਹੈ ਸਗੋਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੋ। BSB BSB: But the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may obey it.
15 ULB ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਲਿਆਈ, ਮੌਤ ਅਤੇ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, as well as death and disaster.
16 ULB ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅੱਜ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਖੋ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਲੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ, ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਨੂੰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੀਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਵਧੋ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਤ ਦੇਵੇ। BSB BSB: For I am commanding you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, statutes, and ordinances, so that you may live and increase, and the LORD your God may bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.
17 ULB ਪਰ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਫਿਰ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੋ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭਟਕ ਕੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਦੇ ਫਿਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰੋ BSB BSB: But if your heart turns away and you do not listen, but are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them,
18 ULB ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ ਹੀ ਨਾਸ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਓਗੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕੋਗੇ ਜਿਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਰਦਨ ਪਾਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ। BSB BSB: I declare to you today that you will surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.

20 ULB ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਖੋ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣੋ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗੇ ਰਹੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਲੰਮੀ ਉਮਰ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸੇ ਰਹੋ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਉ-ਦਾਦਿਆਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਧੀ ਸੀ। BSB BSB: and that you may love the LORD your God, obey Him, and hold fast to Him. For He is your life, and He will prolong your life in the land that the LORD swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
