2 ULB ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅਵਾਰਾ ਪੰਛੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਆਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੋਟ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਅਰਨੋਨ ਦੇ ਪੱਤਣਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। BSB BSB: Like fluttering birds pushed out of the nest, so are the daughters of Moab at the fords of the Arnon:
3 ULB ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿਓ, ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ! ਆਪਣਾ ਪਰਛਾਵਾਂ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਰਾਤ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਣਾ, ਕੱਢਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਾ, ਭਗੌੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਫੜ੍ਹਾ। BSB BSB: “Give us counsel; render a decision. Shelter us at noonday with shade as dark as night. Hide the refugees; do not betray the one who flees.
4 ULB ਮੇਰੇ ਕੱਢਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕਾ ਲੈ, ਮੋਆਬ ਲਈ ਲੁਟੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਓਟ ਹੋ। ਜਦ ਜ਼ਾਲਮ ਮੁੱਕ ਗਿਆ, ਤਦ ਬਰਬਾਦੀ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਮਿੱਧਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਟ ਗਏ, BSB BSB: Let my fugitives stay with you; be a refuge for Moab from the destroyer.” When the oppressor has gone, destruction has ceased, and the oppressors have vanished from the land,
5 ULB ਤਦ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੰਘਾਸਣ ਦਯਾ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਾਊਦ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਬੈਠੇਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੁਰਤੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: in loving devotion a throne will be established in the tent of David. 7 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੋਆਬ ਮੋਆਬ ਲਈ ਧਾਹਾਂ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ, ਹਰੇਕ ਧਾਹਾਂ ਮਾਰੇਗਾ, ਕੀਰ-ਹਰਸਥ ਦੀ ਸੌਗੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੌਕੇ ਲੈ-ਲੈ ਕੇ ਰੋਵੋਗੇ। BSB BSB: Therefore let Moab wail; let them wail together for Moab. Moan for the raisin cakes of Kir-hareseth, you who are utterly stricken.
8 ULB ਹਸ਼ਬੋਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੈਲ੍ਹੀਆਂ, ਸਿਬਮਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੇਲਾਂ ਸੁੱਕ ਗਈਆਂ। ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟੀਆਂ, ਉਹ ਯਾਜ਼ੇਰ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚੀਆਂ, ਉਹ ਉਜਾੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲ ਗਈਆਂ, ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਖਾਂ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਈਆਂ, ਉਹ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਗਈਆਂ। BSB BSB: For the fields of Heshbon have withered, along with the grapevines of Sibmah. The rulers of the nations have trampled its choicest vines, which had reached as far as Jazer and spread toward the desert. Their shoots had spread out and passed over the sea.
9 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਯਾਜ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਬਮਾਹ ਦੀ ਵੇਲ ਲਈ ਰੋਵਾਂਗਾ। ਹੇ ਹਸ਼ਬੋਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਾਲੇਹ, ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭੇਉਂ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਗਰਮੀ ਦੇ ਫਲਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਢਿੱਲਾ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ, BSB BSB: So I weep with Jazer for the vines of Sibmah; I drench Heshbon and Elealeh with my tears. Triumphant shouts have fallen silent over your summer fruit and your harvest.
10 ULB ਅਨੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਫਲਦਾਰ ਪੈਲੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਲੈ ਲਈ ਗਈ, ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੈਕਾਰੇ ਨਾ ਲਲਕਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਕੋਈ ਲਤਾੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੌਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਤਾੜੇਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਲਤਾੜੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Joy and gladness are removed from the orchard; no one sings or shouts in the vineyards. No one tramples the grapes in the winepresses; I have put an end to the cheering.
11 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਮੋਆਬ ਲਈ ਬਰਬਤ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਕੀਰ-ਹਾਰਸ ਲਈ ਵੀ। BSB BSB: Therefore my heart laments for Moab like a harp, my inmost being for Kir-heres.
12 ULB ਅਜਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਮੋਆਬ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਦ ਉਹ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਥੱਕ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਲਾਭ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ॥ BSB BSB: When Moab appears on the high place, when he wearies himself and enters his sanctuary to pray, it will do him no good.
13 ULB ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਭੂਤ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਿਆ, BSB BSB: This is the message that the LORD spoke earlier concerning Moab.
14 ULB ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਤਾਪ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਭੀੜ ਸਮੇਤ ਤੁੱਛ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਹੁਤ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਲਿੱਸੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: And now the LORD says, “In three years, as a hired worker counts the years, Moab’s splendor will become an object of contempt, with all her many people. And those who are left will be few and feeble.”
