10 ULB ਸਰਾਪੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਆਲਸੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ! ਅਤੇ ਸਰਾਪੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਲਹੂ ਵਹਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਦਾ ਹੈ!। BSB BSB: Cursed is the one who is remiss in doing the work of the LORD, and cursed is he who withholds his sword from bloodshed.

14 ULB ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਭਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਹਾਂ! ਲੜਾਈ ਲਈ ਫੌਜੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਾਂ! BSB BSB: How can you say, ‘We are warriors, mighty men ready for battle’?
15 ULB ਮੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੁਗਵੇਂ ਜੁਆਨ ਘਾਤ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਰ ਗਏ, ਰਾਜਾ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Moab has been destroyed and its towns have been invaded; the best of its young men have gone down in the slaughter, declares the King, whose name is the LORD of Hosts.
16 ULB ਮੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਛੇਤੀ ਲੱਗੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Moab’s calamity is at hand, and his affliction is rushing swiftly.
17 ULB ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹੋ, ਰੋਵੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ, ਆਖੋ, ਕਿਵੇਂ ਇਹ ਤਕੜਾ ਢਾਂਗਾ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ, ਉਹ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਡੰਡਾ! BSB BSB: Mourn for him, all you who surround him, everyone who knows his name; tell how the mighty scepter is shattered—the glorious staff!
18 ULB ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਤੋਂ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਆ, ਅਤੇ ਤਿਹਾਈ ਬੈਠ, ਹੇ ਦਿਬੋਨ ਦੀਏ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਧੀਏ,- ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਲੁੱਟਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਗੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Come down from your glory; sit on parched ground, O daughter dwelling in Dibon, for the destroyer of Moab has come against you; he has destroyed your fortresses.
19 ULB ਰਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਖਲੋ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖ, ਹੇ ਅਰੋਏਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਸਣ ਵਾਲੇ! ਨੱਠੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛ, ਅਤੇ ਆਖ, ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ? BSB BSB: Stand by the road and watch, O dweller of Aroer! Ask the man fleeing or the woman escaping, ‘What has happened?’

28 ULB ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗੋ ਅਤੇ ਚੱਟਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸੋ, ਹੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀਓ! ਘੁੱਗੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬਣੋ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਆਹਲਣਾ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Abandon the towns and settle among the rocks, O dwellers of Moab! Be like a dove that nests at the mouth of a cave.
29 ULB ਅਸੀਂ ਮੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ ਸੁਣਿਆ,- ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ,- ਉਸ ਦਾ ਘੁਮੰਡ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੰਕਾਰ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਹੈਂਕੜੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਆਕੜ। BSB BSB: We have heard of Moab’s pomposity, his exceeding pride and conceit, his proud arrogance and haughtiness of heart.
30 ULB ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੇਖੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਿਆ। BSB BSB: I know his insolence,” declares the LORD, “but it is futile. His boasting is as empty as his deeds.
31 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਮੋਆਬ ਲਈ ਰੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਲਈ ਚਿੱਲਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਉਹ ਕੀਰ-ਹਰਸ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਿਰਲਾਪ ਕਰਨਗੇ। BSB BSB: Therefore I will wail for Moab; I will cry out for all of Moab; I will moan for the men of Kir-heres.
32 ULB ਯਅਜ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਰੋਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਵੱਧ ਰੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਹੇ ਸਿਬਮਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਾਖ! ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਟਹਿਣੀਆਂ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੋਂ ਲੰਘ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਯਅਜ਼ੇਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੱਕ ਪੁੱਜ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਤੇਰੇ ਗਰਮ ਰੁੱਤ ਦੇ ਮੇਵਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ, ਤੇਰੀ ਅੰਗੂਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਫਸਲ ਉੱਤੇ, ਲੁਟੇਰਾ ਆ ਡਿੱਗਾ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: I will weep for you, O vine of Sibmah, more than I weep for Jazer. Your tendrils have extended to the sea; they reach even to Jazer. The destroyer has descended on your summer fruit and grape harvest.
33 ULB ਅਨੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਮੌਜ ਫਲਦਾਰ ਖੇਤ ਤੋਂ, ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਤੋਂ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਗਏ। ਮੈਂ ਚੁੱਬਚਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੈ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਕੋਈ ਲਲਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਨਾ ਲਤਾੜੇਗਾ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਲਲਕਾਰ ਲਲਕਾਰ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ!। BSB BSB: Joy and gladness are removed from the orchard and from the fields of Moab. I have stopped the flow of wine from the presses; no one treads them with shouts of joy; their shouts are not for joy.
34 ULB ਹਸਬੋਨ ਅਲਆਲੇਹ ਤੱਕ ਚਿੱਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਯਹਸ ਤੱਕ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੋਅਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹੋਰੋਨਯਿਮ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲਥ-ਸ਼ਲੀਸ਼ੀਯਾਹ ਤੱਕ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਨਿਮਰੀਮ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵੀ ਵਿਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ BSB BSB: There is a cry from Heshbon to Elealeh; they raise their voices to Jahaz, from Zoar to Horonaim and Eglath-shelishiyah; for even the waters of Nimrim have dried up.

36 ULB ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਮੋਆਬ ਲਈ ਬੰਸਰੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਡਕੋਰੇ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਕੀਰ-ਹਰਸ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਸਰੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਡਕੋਰੇ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਧਨ ਬੱਚਤ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ BSB BSB: Therefore My heart laments like a flute for Moab; it laments like a flute for the men of Kir-heres, because the wealth they acquired has perished.
37 ULB ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਿਰ ਮੁੰਨਿਆ ਹੈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਦਾੜ੍ਹੀ ਕਤਰੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਾਓ ਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਲੱਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਤਪੱੜ ਹੈ BSB BSB: For every head is shaved and every beard is clipped; on every hand is a gash, and around every waist is sackcloth.
38 ULB ਮੋਆਬ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਛੱਤਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ ਰੋਣਾ ਪਿੱਟਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਮੋਆਬ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਭਾਂਡੇ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਭੰਨ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ BSB BSB: On all the rooftops of Moab and in the public squares, everyone is mourning; for I have shattered Moab like an unwanted jar,” declares the LORD.
39 ULB ਇਹ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਢਾਹਿਆ ਗਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਸਿਆਪਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮੋਆਬ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਿੱਠ ਮੋੜੀ ਹੈ! ਮੋਆਬ ਇੱਕ ਹਾਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਲਈ ਭੈ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: “How shattered it is! How they wail! How Moab has turned his back in shame! Moab has become an object of ridicule and horror to all those around him.”
40 ULB ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ,- ਵੇਖੋ, ਉਹ ਉਕਾਬ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਉੱਡੇਗਾ, ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਲਾਰੇਗਾ। BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD says: “Behold, an eagle swoops down and spreads his wings against Moab.
41 ULB ਨਗਰ ਲੈ ਲਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਗੜ੍ਹ ਫੜੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਸੂਰਮਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਪੀੜਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ। BSB BSB: Kirioth has been taken, and the strongholds seized. In that day the heart of Moab’s warriors will be like the heart of a woman in labor.
42 ULB ਮੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਕੌਮ ਨਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵੱਡਾ ਬਣਾਇਆ। BSB BSB: Moab will be destroyed as a nation because he vaunted himself against the LORD.
43 ULB ਭੌ, ਭੋਹਰਾ ਤੇ ਫੰਧਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਹੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਵਾਸੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Terror and pit and snare await you, O dweller of Moab,” declares the LORD.
44 ULB ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਭੌ ਤੋਂ ਨੱਠੇਗਾ ਭੋਹਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਭੋਹਰੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਤਾਹਾਂ ਆਵੇਗਾ, ਫੰਧੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ, ਹਾਂ, ਮੋਆਬ ਉੱਤੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਾ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: “Whoever flees the panic will fall into the pit, and whoever climbs from the pit will be caught in the snare. For I will bring upon Moab the year of their punishment,” declares the LORD.
45 ULB ਹਸ਼ਬੋਨ ਦੀ ਛਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਬਲਹੀਣ ਭਗੌੜੇ ਖਲੋਤੇ ਹਨ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਹਸ਼ਬੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗ, ਸੀਹੋਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰੋਂ ਭਬੂਕਾ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਫਸਾਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੋਪਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: “Those who flee will stand helpless in Heshbon’s shadow, because fire has gone forth from Heshbon and a flame from within Sihon. It devours the foreheads of Moab and the skulls of the sons of tumult.
46 ULB ਹੇ ਮੋਆਬ, ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਅਫਸੋਸ! ਕਮੋਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਨਾਸ ਹੋਏ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਸੀਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲਏ ਗਏ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਅਸੀਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ। BSB BSB: Woe to you, O Moab! The people of Chemosh have perished; for your sons have been taken into exile and your daughters have gone into captivity.
47 ULB ਤਦ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੀ ਅਸੀਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਪਰ ਆਖਰੀ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਵਾਕ ਹੈ। ਏਥੇ ਤੱਕ ਮੋਆਬ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਹੈ। BSB BSB: Yet in the latter days I will restore Moab from captivity,” declares the LORD. Here ends the judgment on Moab.
